Exactly, people should be told reality because non Yorubas would think we all are Northern slaves seeking for benefits from Buhari's government because of people like that guy you quoted. They should pleaseeee speak for themselves only.
PoliticsRe: Major Buhari's Achievements In The South West by SoldierBoy1(m): 3:42pm On Jan 08, 2019
Wait, who are these Nairalanders making it seem as if a larger percentage of Yorubas support Buhari?

He should have given a clear cut plan for achieving the two things he mentioned, and I think most people especially Southerners won't like the way he was trying to relate the North's unity to Nigeria's.

Christianity EtcRe: Dunamis Church Gives Widows, Orphans And Less-privileged Christmas Gifts by SoldierBoy1(m): 7:44pm On Dec 22, 2018
People really hate Churches o, always looking for something to complain about...... only if some would research deeper, they won't be saying things they really do not know of about Churches...... these churches have been doing well since.

EducationRe: Hijab: Aisha AbdulAleem Drags Ogun Government To Court, Demands N1m by SoldierBoy1(m):
Evercurious:
I just wonder why these schools bother themselves with these unnecessary issues...

'NO ADMISSION FOR MUSLIMS STUDENTS' solves the issue here..
I tell you. I can't imagine someone fighting for hijab rights in schools like KHMS, FA, CU or LMU.... they would so chase you away. If the girl is inseparable from her hijab, then she should go to a pure Islamic school..... very simple matter. The way some Yoruba Muslims are getting fanatical these days is scary.
EducationRe: Hijab: Aisha AbdulAleem Drags Ogun Government To Court, Demands N1m by SoldierBoy1(m): 6:50pm On Dec 22, 2018
Why all these trouble now?..... How hard is it to comply with instructions?...... If everyone decides to fight for right for this, right for that, won't there be pandemonium?...... They're only instilling rebellion into the small girl, later now, she would want to carry religion everywhere she goes.

EducationRe: ABUAD Beats Covenant University; Ranks As Best Private University In Nigeria by SoldierBoy1(m): 2:40pm On Jul 30, 2018
MrImole:
Look at you, for any parent to afford the school, connections to get job won't be the problem
That is what most people that hate we Private University students do not understand. For me, I'm a student of Landmark University and even our IT that we did, I don't think there was anyone who did not do IT in a very good Company. Majority of Private University students never have problem finding a good job. If you can now combine intelligence with the privilege of having Parents that can give you good assistance financially, in linking you with right people etc , there's no limit to what you are going to achieve.
EducationRe: Lady Thanks Covenant University For The Best Four Years Of Her Life by SoldierBoy1(m): 3:35pm On Jul 25, 2018
Dee60:
Nigerians must learn to commend the efforts of pathfinders and trailblazers.

Covenant University came into the scene to challenge our ever-striking and ever-declining public universities. Now those universities have learnt to sit up.

CU is heavily involved in character-moulding which is so important in Nigeria today. People who ordinarily may have ended as area boys or slayers are now well groomed to replace our ill-willed political elite and corrupt business rulers to turn our nation around for good.

Let us give credit to the founders of CU and other trail-blazing private universities.
Yeah Bro, CU is doing really good and let me appreciate my school too, Landmark University. We're blazing the trail also. GOD bless LFC Universities (CU and Landmark).

PoliticsRe: Muric Commends Buhari For Declaring June 12 Democracy Day by SoldierBoy1(m): 1:21pm On Jun 07, 2018
Though making June 12th democracy is an OK thing, but it's definitely not going to make the South West support Buhari. And also, May 30th is a significant date that should be honored too.

Of course he has to as dictated by the Muslim owned party and largely yoruba muslims. Remember Fayemi was born Muslim, and 75% of Yorubas are muslims. 80% of all SW states governors since 1999 are Yoruba muslims.
75% of Yorubas are not muslims o

You people already insulting each other, majority of Yorubas are not against anything you guys are fighting for and in no way do majority of us see Hausas /Fulanis as masters. Those that see them as masters are on their own with their personal issues. So stop all these generalization, and you Yorubas guys too, it's not a must to join a needless trend of being tribal about everything...... I just dey talk my own, I know say una no dey hear word

Wait who told those guys on the first page that the kidnappers are Igbos. Nairaland has really taken some people far from reality and they now hate people from other tribes with no just cause. They are just "following the crowd", the trend on nairaland and it is turning to real hatred in them.

EducationRe: At LASU, Frst Class Is Not Cheap, Says Vice Chancellor by SoldierBoy1(m): 1:26pm On May 17, 2018
HigherEd:
This is the problem of Nigerian higher education. The lecturers are glorifying themselves in how difficult it is to get a first class in their university, Instead of glorifying the quality of knowledge passed.

An average UK university has 25% First class in each graduating set, yet the knowledge passed on to students is incredible.

When I enrolled at CU, the university told us it was possible to achieve excellent results if we desired to. Every single year the university would work assiduously to ensure that the conditions were optimum for learning. Each time students fail massively the university questions her own role in it and adjust when necessary. And I am very proud of that system.

How do you 'produce' people who can revolutionize the nation when all you teach them is limitations and continually advocate for the status quo. How about telling them what they can achieve if they belief and work hard enough...
I tell you Bro, even at Landmark, you are given the best and expected to turn out well academically. Once the learning system is very good, students would surely do well.
