Sanboy25:
I think that all depends on the level of understanding of the man...
Some men will not be able to accept the rejection, they'll become angry at the woman, thus enemies. undecided
Other men, the wise ones, will accept the fact that the woman have the choice... The man, if he want to strike once more, he'll manage a way for he and the woman to remain friends or lovers... wink
To me most of the men are from the first category because of their big ego...
Hope I helped. cheesy
You mean the foolish and low selfesteem guyz will go with d second option.

Romance › Short Words Of Advice To The Single Ladies by solid3(op): 1:10pm On May 30, 2013
As a woman, Stupidity is when you sit back cross legged and search for an already made man meanwhile you don’t have anything to show u are his match other than “your beauty” and sex. In case you don't know, every already made man out there has a woman who has been with him from when he had only a pair of shorts and a single shirt.

That's why majority of well to do men, usually make you nothing but a sextoy and gives you small change that you can never invest but squander, for you mean absolutely nothing to them. He might cheat on her with you, but truth is, he’ll never leave her for you. . . .

If you are guilty of hunting for an already made man, then I tell you, my dear you are such a cow, you actually need horns. When a good healthy brain settles, yours floats! That man who is head over heels in love with you right now and you are taking for granted this minute:::::

He may not own a car. He may not earn a lot of money. He may not live in a posh estate. He may not be able to shower you with gifts all the time. He may not have a great job. But it’s enough to know you are the only one he craves for and loves unconditionally..... ..IF He has a heart of gold. He is Honest. He is very hardworking. He is humble. He keeps that smile on your face. He talks to you every day. He actually listens to you. He tolerates you when you're moody. His family knows you. He tells you your beautiful all the time. He sees you every chance he gets. He appreciates the tiniest things you do. He is there when you need him. He respects you. He is proud you are his and likes showing you off. And he treats you like a queen. . . .

My dear you are indeed lucky to have him. He may not have it all now, but one day he will... He may not be living his dream now, but one day he will... And as He pictures all this. He pictures you.

Ladies, there's no perfect man on earth, never you forget this fact. Learn to appreciate that man in your life who strives to be all you need. That man who promises you nothing but tries his utmost best to give you everything. These words may sound chaotic but true.

Properties › Issues With This Landlord Pls Advice by solid3(op):
Hello Nairalanders,

I rented a room out of a 2bedroom flat 2yrs ago, I paid cash to the guy (son of the owner of the house) on 28th of May 2011 and he said I shld come d followin Tuesday to collect d tenancy agreement, I went but he said he dint write anythin o, went d next day, same thing dat, I shld come collect d key on 1st June and den I moved in on 6th June.

Now I got trapped in d house n cld not pay for d second year, Why?

Few weeks after I entered d hosue, water from d bathroom filled my room overnight, I woke up 2:30am and I was in waters, my boss laptop was soaked and I lost valuables. When I told him on phne cos he travled, he was laughing.

From then, my boss began delaying my salary till I left d job. On several other ocassions, water has always eneterd my room. The house is an upsatir and water pressure may not be high enough to get water up, so d tap may be fogoten and left open, now instead of water to flow out, it will fill up my room.

So dis guy was always puttin pressure on me to pay d rent till he talked and talked, I had to kneel down to beg. As if that was not enough, he said, he had to sell all he had in Lagos to pay his rent, that he only had his matrass left in his room. I had to sell my decoder yet he said I have not done anything yet.

Before the end of April this year, he has been asking me to pack out, the stress was too much I had to pack out to the new place I got on friday 10th May. Before I left, I ensured I payed him d 150k rent.

Now d guy is askin dat I pay his 10k being Nepa and water bill of which I never saw a single reciept of d once I have paid to him, I told him I dont hav and he said for the next 10yrs, he (not me) will suffer for not paying d 10k, Now, I hav packed out and he has given me a fresh altimatum tru text message (btw yesterday to wednesday) to pay d 10k.

What shld I do pls?

Webmasters › Re: Is Website Design A Good And Worthy Career? by solid3(op): 10:19am On May 05, 2013
Thanks to you all 4 your comments so far.

Presently, I have like 5 jobs on me, but I dont feel too ok. I love internet and working around the interent, but I seriously don kno if a Webmaster will be respected in our society in the near future.

I have read about American Web Design Firms who were the foremost in Web Development, some have closed down after many years even when they hav more than 200 clients, is this where Nigerian Web Design Firms are heading?

We all kno they way Indians are looking for web design jobs in Nigeria, Why? Simple cos the market is saturated.

This career thing is eating me deep at this time. Life is short, can a webdesigner make significant impact in the society?

Please , if you are living successfuly as a website designer, please share ur success story and possibly achievements.

I wld be appreciative if this thread can be moved to fp to get a wider opinion of d general public.

Webmasters › Is Website Design A Good And Worthy Career? by solid3(op): 12:14pm On May 01, 2013
Hi peep, Happy Worker's day.
I have a mind bugging issue which borders around mid life ish and career.

I get this question every time from my peeps at home asking me if I have applied for jobs but I keep posting them. This is bacause I am a website designer at the moment and I have spent like a year in d business though very though I almost quit but with God's wisdom I am begining to see d light at the end of the tonnel.

But looking at the challenges, like clients who can b so frustrating goin back and forth, to delay of payment to working late at night and having less time to sleep to the challenges of crappy internet services to non availability of power supply etc.

Plus the fact that if u want to get branded and go corporate in a place like Abuja, office space is not less that 450k per annum aprt from service charge and generator maintenance and possibly a secretary or partner, company registration and tax payment.

However, I love working around the internet although my major back in school was medical science (me no b dokitor o).

The big question now is: Is Website Designing Job a worthy career one can pursue?

How can we remain like this? How can a youth go to school and suffered to graduate at the end no job. You are almost 40 and still your future is as bleak as a dark room. Did your parents send you to school to sit at home because our Government has failed us. Let us come out one day and say No.

The website is not bad, but there is great room for improvement. Here are a few things u can do to make it better:
1. Your text and background should have more contrast, some of the text are lost into d bg.
2. There are empty spaces all around, get good images to fill 'em up.

What I can say for now. Wish you God speed. You are getting better bro.

Lets find a way to create a "hyip" on Web Development using this section. Nigeria has a long way to go interms of we presence of Nigerian companies and web solution.

If that is successful, we will all be smiling to the bank.
