One stop over at Istanbul for 8hrs 45mins

Thank you
Thank you very much, please what if I go to Jkf first and get a connecting flight to Atlanta, will that be cheaper?

I am officially bowing out of the admission process for fall 2019 cheesy grin, what a process. I accepted an offer earlier this week.

Let me introduce myself as I have been most active on GRE thread but I have been coming to this thread daily for close to a year.

Undergrad: Statistics, CGPA:4.07/5, unofficial WES evaluation:3.47/4
I decided to apply for admission just in December. I wrote my GRE in February and prepared for less than two months: 161Q,153V, 3.0AW. Most of the requirement for the schools were met in the third week of February because of GRE but I submitted my applications before then. The admission decisions so far

Villanova University: Admitted but awaiting funding
Bowling Green State University: Admitted but awaiting funding
University of iowa: Rejected
Georgia State University: Admitted with GA which has full tuition waiver and some stipends
George Washington University: Pending
Michigan Technological University: Admitted without funding
American University: Admitted with some funding but was not sufficient

I was using style to wait for GWU but I have finally gone for GSU as it was the best offer so far coupled with the course: Master's of Mathematics with concentration in Biostatistics.

Great work everyone has been doing on this thread, God bless you. I will be starting the preparation for my interview soon and I understand I have to read previous parts, at least as much as I can. I would really appreciate your help throughout the process when I eventually come up with my proposed transcript. Thank you all and keep up the good works.

Fall. 2019, yes we can

Good afternoon everyone, please I would like to know the cheapest and good flight from Lagos to Atlanta. Departure should be 30th of July, the departure date is slightly flexible, one way, one adult. If I can get some other details apart from the basic details about the flight too, I would really appreciate it.

Hello everyone... I just got a mail from GSU about admission decision for fall '19. (Msc Biology), but nothing was said about funding.

Should I wait for few days before reaching out to the department to ask about the possibility of funding? or what would you suggest?

@Solip Were you notified of funding immediately or it took a while? Thank you
Hello, congratulations on your admission. Yes, I was notified about funding immediately as it was included in the admission letter, you can reach out to the graduate director of your department

Congratulations Javanian.

As for me I have given up.I guess its until next season.
I have two rejects from Baylor and Brown Universities.
The rest are in Limbo as per admissions.I gathered they have offered the first rounds of admissions.

Good luck to you guys.
Hello, how are you doing today?

Don't give up just yet, even if the first round of admission has been sent out, some people decline their offers early and they move to the waitlist, some schools also offer some admission after April 15th. So hang in there, I am hopeful for you. Fall 2019,yes we can.

Congrats again. I learnt from the thread that you used the Manhattan app prep. How much is the monthly subscription? How would you recommend that I use it?
Thank you. Like I said, I used different softwares, I started using the Manhattan mobile app few days to my exam. The subscription is around $10 per month. The advantage is that you can just do practice questions on the go, you have a lot of questions to answer and you can track your general performance. Then you can determine your weak point too in each sub-topic.

New York University's MBA program gave someone I know $5000/month stipend. They waived her whole $71k tuition (for 2 years as well).

Edit; I believe the college of business is called STERN.
Waoh waoh, very very nice but uncommon.

Its per annum. i also had a GTA offer from Geoscience that waived my tuition and 3k stipends per semester but i will be rejecting it for a better offer
I willl have a conversation with the director on Monday. I will most likely accept this particular offer, the location is cool, the course is my preferred choice, and it's the best offer for now

Didn't you get tuition waived in addition to the stipend?
Nop, the cost of a few credit hours waived and the stipend sums up to the 19k

CptCharlesVane:
How much is some funding?
Some funding means 19k grin cheesy, when they would be issuing i20 of around 63k(Tuition, estimated cost of living and other fees)

I got admitted into American University for both their MS Biostatistics and Statistics. If I was to attend I would have chosen the Biostatistics as it was the best match for me in all the schools, I am actually drawn to it. However, I was given a teaching assistantship position with some funding that is inadequate. Pretty sad about this particular offer sad sad sad

Good morning everyone, please is there any graduate student in Washington DC or anyone that lives in the city?. I just want to have a fair idea of the living cost in terms of house rent, feeding cost, transportation. In particular around American University or George Washington University. Thank you
