Good morning guys. I would really appreciate any assistance here.

My i-20 was issued last week tuesday (still on its way) but I was told I can go ahead with the payment of sevis and visa appointment. Now that I don't have my i-20 yet with me, is it safe for me to go ahead with visa appointment, I have paid for both sevis and visa.

Also, can I go ahead to fill and submit the ds - 160 form?? Like how does the form really work? Can I fill now and submit but apply for visa interview in a week or two weeks time?

Also, like how does the visa interview date work? I mean, if I apply today, what could be the earliest day of interview?

I'd really appreciate your input.

Good morning, start filling the DS160 form today, fill as much as you can, note the code of the form, because there are some info you might need on your i20 such as your US contact, you can fill other aspect and not submit the form just yet.

Create your visa appointment account and book your appointment, do not forget to submit the DS160 form when you have your i20 and at least 3 days before your interview.

NB: Act now, dates are filling up fast, as at yesterday, the earliest dates available were in July, as at this morning, few spaces opened up in May(2dates) and June(1date), so get to work.

What error message is it giving you. Have you created your profile for the visa application?, have you tried navigating through the schedule a new appointment and so on. Kindly provide more info about the ish you have with booking your interview.

Modified: I just saw that you said it was saying incorrect password, have you tried the forgot password way out. If all these doesn't work, call the customer care by 9am on Monday, I had issues with my account last weekend too and it was resolved on monday

I just remembered that I filled my family members as additional point of contact information on my ds160 that I submitted.
Please would that be an issue.. Your response will save me from a worsening panic attack!

It was stated there that the additional contact shouldn't be your family. You might have to fill another form and update the new form code on your visa page

Ps: If your interview is within the next 3 working days, you might have to leave it like that so you wouldn't be given a turnback

Something just came to my mind, I don't know how helpful it would be. But if your Husband has a job or a business here to return back to after assisting you to settle down, then he can talk about it and make it clear he wouldn't be staying back.

Hello, you can book your visa interview date before paying your SEVIS just make sure you pay it at least 3 working days to your interview, and yes, there are still about 5 dates in June ending and 15dates in July as at earlier this morning.

Nice transcript, I believe you tried writing answers to all possible questions. The only thing I can see about your transcript is that.

Since you said SNYU didn't accept you, I don't think the VO will ask you why you chose your school over SNYU again. Then the part about how your undergraduate relates to this course, you might have to work on that, I didn't quite understand what you wrote there.

That's my little contribution, all the best in your interview, don't forget to do mock interviews too.

Hello,

Please who else has difficulty logging into the Visa application page, it was not like that yesterday but now all it's telling me is login attempt failed that I should check to see if the username and password are correct. And I am sure it's correct.

I tried using the forgot password feature but I didn't get any email.

I just want to confirm if I am not alone or what can I do?

Hello, mathematics is my strong point so I didn't practice the Quantitative aspect rigorously, I focused more on the verbal aspect. In all, I watched all magoosh videos, used magoosh and Manhattan online practice tests severally, wrote the two free power prep practice tests, used kaplan for AW, read the Manhattan books. Don't think so. I booked a flight recently for someone to same Atlanta, return and it was for 390k plus. Looked into this same JFK issue to connect Atlanta. Wasn't that worth it.

If you don't mind playing with your travel dates by much wider margins, we could play around for some cheaper flights

Thank you for your response, departure date between July 25 to August 12 is still doable as my travel plan Is a bit flexible
