@rhymz, thanks a lot . I could not agree more. |
I don't question the performance of the woman as a senator. The big question here is what image these contradicting judgments is creating about our judiciary |
@Fhemmmy, you are very right. They will loot more money under the pretence of trying to catch the looters and at the end nothing will come out of it. |
this is a big setback for home based players and its clear now that non of them will be going to the world cup but real problem is the management of our football. From the way things are going now we might be in for trouble in the world cup cos its less than 4 months to the world cup and we have no team. |
Seems we black people does not understand the concept of nationhood. Just following the borders drawn by colonial masters is not all that makes you a nation. God help us to help ourselves |
Is like asking Babangida to probe Anenih, hehehe |
thanks for the analysis but one thing is sure Arsenls title hope is gone |
Can you see the criteria the pdp is using to select ministers. No wonder there is no progress |
@Abu-Maryam what else do you expect them to say. Its always the handwork of their enemies. We all know that these leaders are nothing but looters. |
The figures again. Just to keep it alive Basic Salary - 2,484 245.50Pass it on people. |
How can a party whose majority of its members are looters probe looting, no disrespect to the New york branch of pdp members . I dont think jonathan is powerful enough to call the bluff of all those people. |
I think this should be everywhere in Nigeria. Everybody should be aware of it and people should really ask questions. It should be on all news papers, radio stations, tv stations, movies , everywhere. If you were an employer will you pay so much money without getting anything in return. Our leaders are our employees, so what are we getting in return. we must ask. |
Are Nigerian just plain stupid? |
wow!. I checked out that post and its hard to believe. Does Nigerians know this?. What kind of country is this?. Is this not reason enough for people to be protesting on every streets in the country on daily basis. What is wrong with nigerians, how can this look normal to anybody. This is just crazy. In a country where people can not afford 3 square meal, no power, no water, no good roads, schools are decaying, no good form of transportation to mention but a view. Are Nigeria just plain stupid? |
corruption must be fought either coming from the south or north. |
great idea, good job guys |
Does anybody to the answer to this question or people just dont how much their leaders earn? |
Failed State damn thats two words. ok. since all other words that come to mind has been used, i would say Ruined ! |
does Niger republic even have a league?. I will like to know some notable clubsides from Niger. For all i care nigeria has just be beating by a "non-league" country. In a normal country you will see resignations from their FA officials but in nigeria its business as usual. shame |
Interesting replies, mostly negative and understandably so. The truth there is nothing an individual sacrifice can do for nigeria now. The change will come when the people rise up again the thiefs destroying our country. |
yeah. that question needs to be answered , was the previous judgment in her favor a mistake?. The answer to it will say a lot about our judicial system. |
Amen! |
jamace, yes has gotten to that stage and even move beyond. unfortunate but true. Nigerian people have no say about their country no more and that is what must change. |
naijamini you are so right and that was my first response to this topic, that the situation in nigeria has driven a lot of people into doing fraudulent things just to survive. But for someone to come here and say 94% of nigerians are fraudulent is plain wrong. In reality you cant put a figure to it because there is no data to support that and if at all seriously it cant be 94%. And to respond to jamace, i believe the reason our leaders has been able to create and maintain such a corrupt system is because the people has refused to stand up for their right. The people are just too scared to stand up and say to the leaders enough is enough. Nothing will change until the people have a say on how nigeria is run, right now they simply don't. |
yes, statistics show that 94% of nigerians are crooks. i live in the usa and know alot of nigerians with high credentials, and they are not an exception. alot of them are copy cats too. some usually don't have an idea.they steal other people's positive ideas and wear on their faces like screens to decieve others. as you get to know them, the truth unfolds. they lie alot. i meet a muslim from the northern part of nigeria who did not want to identify himself as a nigerian. [the 6% most be from the northern part]. he was well educated and knew what he was talking about. This is so wrong. 94% of Nigerians are not adults, are u saying the kids are crooks too. so wrong |
I believe the average Nigerian is a good person but the economic situation in the country have driven a lot to fraud which is creating a bad name for all nigerians |
This is completely outrageous. How can a man be proud of such wealth, while his people are starving? This does not make sense. I cannot comprehend how a man could be foolish enough to even flaunt his wealth for all to see it. Could he not see that the CNN reporter was being sarcastic and actually mocking him?Its obviously a stupid man. The only he knows to make money is to steal states funds. |
They should forget it, this guy is probably dead or very close to it |
Make him minister of information and let him tell us where is brother is? Jokes apart, what is the basis for this nomination. What is his qualification and experience that qualify him for a ministerial job. This look like pure politics to me and shows Jonathan is just continuing with way nigeria is being governed which is gotten us nowhere but being ruined. |
I believe baba iyabo is part of the problem if not for anything for giving us Yar adua who obviously is not fit to govern |
this is definitely a joke |
I live in the US and i was talking to a friend of mine recently and he told that senators in Nigeria earn US$70,000 per month. That kind of shocked me even though that i know anything can happen in nigeria and that nigerian politicians steals money in unbelievable amounts. But that their official salary is $70,000 per month is a big shock for me because this is more than what the US president earn per month. So i am asking the forumers here the question "How much does Nigerian Senators earn per month" and do you think that amount is OK? Looking forward to response from you guys. |
