If we can keep the game at 0-0 from start to finish, then the game can go either way. Good luck to our girls. We can do it. |
PDPGuy:I expect Randy to bring in Gift Monday, Rofiat Imuran, Onumonu and Okoronkwo in the 2nd half |
komekn:Oga Komekn. Abeg take life easy. |
Marjoribanks:Are you certain about this because this Tosin boy has on several occasions stated that the England dream has been rubber stamped on his mind. Hope he is not using Nigeria to catch cruise ooo |
milann:That small girl is gay? This world don spoil finish abeg |
FIFA Yet To Give Ex Germany Youth International Defender All Clear To Play For Super Eagles Owngoalnigeria a day ago The chance of Nigeria having former Germany youth international Jordan Torunarigha for their final Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers game against Sao Tome and Principe has taken a huge knock, OwnGoalNigeria.com can exclusively reveal. Torunarigha represented Germany from U16 up to U23 level but has now decided to pledge his international allegiance to Nigeria, a move that is coming five years after he turned down the chance of a possible World Cup appearance with Nigeria. In 2018, he claimed he turned down the chance on the advice of his father, a former Nigeria international in Ojokojo Torunarigha but he said he feels he is more suited to the pressure of playing for Nigeria now. His wish has however suffered a set back with sources saying the Gent defender is yet to get the necessary papers to complete his switch of nationality process from FIFA. His application is yet to be approved. There is no timeline for the approval, a situation which has put his chances of representing Nigeria in September in huge doubt, even though the coach of the Nigerian team Jose Peseiro is keen on having him for the game in Uyo. Osas Mahawi |
mostob:Same for me. |
hatakekakashi:Ucheibe was everywhere in that game. |
Deltamani:I been fear ooo when I saw this. |
Ola Aina to join Dennis & Awoniyi in Nottingham forest. Good news. Hopefully he will claim his Super Eagles spot back although Bright Osayi is not doing badly |
Nnadozie - seems she has a knee injury Ucheibe Abiodun These were the stars in that match. Why does Randy make his substitutions late? Why bringing in Kanu, Okoronkwo & Echigini late? |
Marjoribanks:Senegal, Nigeria & Tunisia are all in easy groups on paper. I pray that village people will not shake the table. Egypt & Morocco may not find it funny. Our Ghanaian bredas may not find it easy with Mali. Cameroon too should beware of Cape Verde. |
charlesemeka85:. Exactly |
Marjoribanks:Another advantage we will get playing South Africa for the Nigerian viewers is quality TV viewing |
Alfryd:Una sure say Nigeria go qualify? South Africa, Benin & Rwanda are all in deadly forms. Rohr is coaching Benin at the moment and he knows SE very well |
Jay Jay Okocha tipped to become Sport minister |
PDPGuy:We are jokers in this country. Super Falcons have not played any friendlies so far and we expect to do well. NFF na scam |
Deltamani:NFF must invest in the youthful players and bring them on. Players like Nicole Payne, Peace Efih, Flourish Sebastian, Esther Onyenezide, Ajakaiye etc should all be drafted into the Super Falcons after this world cup no matter the outcome |
![]() lovewins:Committed skilful girls. Love you and wish you both all the best |
lovewins:How I wished Rinsola was part of our world cup squad. I hope she will hasten the switch with FIFA? |

NFF Reacts To Randy Waldrum’s Bombshell Interview Brila 3 hours ago NFF Reacts To Randy Waldrum’s Bombshell Interview The director of communication of the NFF, Ademola Olajire gave FA’s position on Waldrum’s insistence of lack of support and internal sabotage. “We have to first ask when the European season ended. The man wanted a two-week camping for only home-based professionals (whom he already gave very little consideration in his provisional list). “Like two weeks ago, he released his final list of 23, meaning there was absolutely no need for any camping for home-based again except to simply waste resources. “Instead of admitting his glaring deficiencies, he’s there shooting his mouth off. “He knows he will not have Rasheedat Ajibade and Halimatu Ayinde (two key players) for the opening match against Canada, yet he left out Ngozi Okobi and Regina Otu from the squad! “The NFF felt it would make more sense for the 23 to go straight to Australia and camp for 15/16 days to acclimatize to the weather and conditions. “The NFF wanted him to groom a home-based goal tender like Chiamaka Nnadozie was groomed. Instead, he kept bringing Yewande Balogun (who actually started as a goalkeeper coach!) all the time without consideration for a home girl. The same lady has only kept goal in one friendly match in over 2 years (and only because Chiamaka was badly injured in a friendly in Mexico earlier this year). “His outbursts are nothing but an after-thought. He’s talking only 3 days to the team’s departure to the World Cup.” |
With all these allegations and counter allegations going on between NFF & Randy coupled with no friendlies or preparation plans for the World cup, if Super Falcons qualify from that group, then it will be a miracle. |
I don't even know what to believe on this thread anymore because NEPA no gree me watch this match. Some folks here think the keeper was good because he saved 2 goal bound opportunities from the Sierra Leoneans while others think he was poor. Between Iwobi and Aribo, please who performed better? This is the part where @The Supernerd should come in with his analysis of individual performance. |
Time we change Peserio. Give us Finidi & Bosso |
lovewins:That was immature & unprofessional of her |
lovewins:I prefer Nicole Payne to Glory Ogbonna. But overall the list is tight and right. I'm satisfied. I hope they will all bring their A-game |
Nigeriagood:He would perfectly replace Ekong |
Jordan Tourinagha now ready to play for the Super Eagles. |
Other African countries like South Africa, Zambia & Morocco are fine tuning their preparations for the World cup with friendlies but we are still stock with which player to include in our provisional list because of a home based player that NFF officials insist must be included because of FIFAs monetary bonus. I don't see Nigeria scaling beyond first round to be frank. If Waldrum finally leaves, its over for Nigerian women football. I heard that he has been paid his 7 out of 14 months salary. |
