If Burkina Faso vs Cameroon ends in a draw, South Africa will be out. Their win against Zambia won't count.
I thought its based on points not goals scored.

South Africa is third. SA beat Zambia.
It means South Africa faces Senegal in quarter final and Nigeria faces the second placed team
in Group C between Burkina Faso & Cameroon who are playing tomorrow. I think Burkina may win.

Quarter finals
Senegal v South Africa
Morocco v Algeria
Mali v Congo
Nigeria v Burkina Faso/Cameroon

This is looking dicey for South Africa & Zambia. So which of them qualifies for 3rd best?

Just reading now that Joel Ideho and Kenny Coker have both been axed from Flying Eagles squad to Argentina. This is the 2nd time they are being rejected by Bosso. I also read that his attack for the mundial is toothless. Let's just forget this U20 Flying Eagles team. Na wash!

U23 Afcon Draws is done

Nigeria not there ofcos no thanks to Salisu and the NFF selection nonsense.

Guinea, conquerors of Nigeria U23 are in Group A.
I thought Nigeria reported Guinea to CAF for fielding overage players?

I think today's loss for the golden eaglets is a blessing in disguise. If we had topped the group, we would have been meeting the runners up of Group A (Algeria) which would have been dicey. As 2nd placed (that is if we can beat or draw South Africa in the last game) we could meet either Cameroon or Burkina Faso depending on who is runners up in Group C

This is why I hate arguing with you guys. I know you will defend your messiah as usual!
This man Tinubu was Governor for 8 years. No strikes and no salary delays.
Obasanjo sent every vehicle to probe and bring him down but he came out clean.
Created more Local Govt Council cos he believed that Kano should not be having more LG than Lagos.
Brain behind modern Lagos (Lekki free trade zone, Eko Atlantic, Railways etc). You didn't comment on that but baseless allegations from the colonial paper.
Here you are telling a man under whom Doctors and teachers went on strike for more than a year better than the man with the above record? Only an ethnic bigot will continue this comparism.
May God help him to accomplish same with Nigeria

You can only partner when you really want to move forward. Sanusi called it VESTED INTEREST. There are people that gain from failure.

These people will sabotage the team for their personal gain.

They will impose poor players on the team, put the team in poor stadium. Not provide sufficient kits. Send the team out without welfare etc.

If they want to improve, they know what to do.
Well said.
We are our own problem

FT Senegal 3-0 Algeria #U17Afcon Group A.

Algeria eventually edged the possession battle but Senegal clearly created the most chances and had the most attempts on goal.

MOTM: #10 Amara Diouf (Senegal). His second MOTM award already at this Afcon.

#MDU17AfconDiaries
Nerdie. I think there is something special about the Senegalese teams. They are really dominating African football at the moment in all areas except for the U23. I think NFF should partner with their FA. What do you think?

I think our SF world cup squad is gradually taking shape. Randy repeated his formation against Haiti & NZ and it feels cool. But I think he really needs to beef up that midfield with Onyenezide & Sebastian. We are stressing Nnadozie in that GK department. Let's also try out some other hands.
