ogunwale01: Kudos 2 Admas digital Technologies, because i dnt kno y consultant will just now be demanding 4 applicants details. Were ur cv(s) nt wt dem b4?You are very correct. I respect Admas for their organization and capability. The SE consultants seem to be the worst and most disorganized. Lazy and clueless. I heard that it was almost at the end of the interview that they realized that more than half of those being interviewed since morning were not even invited in the first place (in this 21st century). Na waa 4 people! |
Gloom: Submitting information to consultants now does not add up. Consultants have submitted the outcome of their recruitement to ministry of power since 3 weeks agoEverything must not add up for you. My younger one got an SMS yesterday and was asked to respond in a space of 3 hours. I understood it was for confirmation purpose except for one additional information. The message centre was that of the consultant and the number where the response should be sent is the same consultants' phone number from day one. Whether you are the one that submitted the outcomes to the ministry of power or that it was submitted to your desk, the message adds up and it only implies that there has been at least one step further. All the best guys! |
yemi2plus2: What makes you feel its the best? Both of them. When you read the essay you can say for urself, if you find a better one . . . Good |

crespo67: Hey guyz...I wanna appreciate all doze dat av kept dis thread lively and goin....I wanna say dat we are so priviledged 2 be coming into d Power sector at such a crucial and revolutionary time...We are indeed favored..Let's leabe d talk on how much d job is gonna pay....personally...I dnt give a hoot if am gonna be paid 5k for my 1st year...d truth is dat we are rily priviledged because d Power sector is about 2 blow...in d end,we gonna be earning way more box than our colleagues in d oil and gas sector...for nw,our focus shud be on getting d training and becoming relevant and indispensible in dis sector..dere is a huge dearth of Power engineers in Nigeria...d skilled ones are old and retiring, and we are obviously d take ova generation...TCN is a beautiful place 2 start...becoming a Power engineer wiv a background in transmission means u had do well in all 3 teirs(gen, trans, dist) cos transmission is like d fada of dem all...4 doze dat wud not be offered d job,I wanna say dat dere aint any need 2 give up if u had a passion for Power engineering...try again, and pls go 2 NAPTIN...power is gonna become so crazy...goodluck guyz..... . . let us not be too carried away guys. |
cyraxjay: Guys another agency under Power ministry is recruiting, NERC. Which one is better between NERC and TCN. Considering both profession and of course salary package.Profession (for Engineers): TCN; Salary package: NERC; Higher chance of getting employed: TCN; Higher chance of not calling for test/interview: NERC. |
ncho157: When did you receive yours? And has the skilled test been written already?Interviews have been concluded. Move on! |
A pity some folks don't know that there is no 'PHCN' again, so to speak. |
akym2005: mind u gus on the issue of payment u should realise that tcn is parastatal and l believ that they earned more than the ministry therefore government we even pay more to the tcn staffs to ensure the hijack of those trained manpower by disco and genco investors. alsp tcn is not sold that is why fg are trying to upgrading its facilities so as to be able to wheel all generated power to the individual disco stations. therefore tcn is the backbone of electric power system from this analysis l even think that tcn will pay more than the other because of their important. . . for your mind shaa. |
Omoaba25, You must not interpret someone's info as hostile. Pls, kindly identify the hostile parts of my post. Being direct is different from being hostile. Thanks. |
omooba25: Hello pple,I think NAPTIN will be starting another training calender by sept\oct.does it mean the recruitment process will be pending till then? Pls share if u have any contrary info or wot do u think? What has NAPTIN got to do with the recruitment process? The recruitment is by Ministry of Power, for its agency (TCN), a shame if some people don't know this. NAPTIN is a power training institute, also another agency/institute of the Ministry of Power. If anyone needs their training, NAPTIN will give the training whenever it is needed, at a cost and in any of their training centres. You must not follow their training calender because you've got selected modules to run. |
Leave the guy to continue dreaming and giving himself false hope. Even the fresh graduates that joined NNPC last August have their salary as 160K. |
chukdc: TCN will be paying Electrical officer 2 not less than N250,000 with various welfare packages and allowances too. With training for 6 months in Canada too.Chances are that you have entered one-chance, or probably in deep slumber. What you are implying is that an Electrical Officer 2 (level will come in by August and receive a salary that is more than that of a current level 12 staff of TCN? You must be joker. There has not been such upward review of existing TCN staff. TCN has a salary structure at the moment, and the incoming staff WILL follow it, unless something else happens. But for now, don't get to carried away. |
obanz2nd: Is it true that dragnet has started sending invite for the 2nd stage?Yes, NNPC/Esso sending, not Dragnet. |
chukdc: Please, when do we expect to get the appointment letter.I heard it will be out from 22nd of this month. Can any body confirm it?I also heard that the training will be in Canada for six months and the newly restructured salary is N250,000.Please any body with any contrary information should comment on any of the following as earlier stated.. . . continue dreaming. |
