Go tru this thread u wil read wia I lamented about bn at cross road as to weda I will leave my well paying job (bt not secured) for TCN job. My present salary is in 6 figures and far better than wot TCN will pay me so I don't know wia ur 'Almighty TCN' blabb is coming from. Am not as jobless as u are, I only applied for TCN for 3 things, job security, training and career progress.

Don't think every fellow dat comment here is as jobless and hopeless as u r, take ur frustration elsewia and allow those luck has smilled at to discuss about d recruitment, ur frequent ill-wish and pessimistic views here are really annoying, just an advice.

Ppl read ur comments and see ur inner person and wot u represent. Out of the abundance of d hrt, d mouth speaketh. U av wished this recruitment was cancelled, probably bc u didn't make it. This is a free revolving world man, u av to move on when u miss some opportunities. I av written NNPC test twice and never made it to interview stage even though I knew I did wel. That did not make me to wish d recruitment be cancelled.

blessmyij: Its a big lie. The appointment is still intact . They are having problem with d money approved for d NAPTIN stuff. We might still join d training. I narrated authentic's story to a top TCN staff , he laughed and laughed, he said dat its not possible dat they tried to do d recruitment as transparent as possible. I am a living witness. Opylo: How much are we going to be paid during the training(officer 2)? My calculation amt to approximately 108k per mth. All u need to do is put an addition sign where d multiplication sign is to get the basic . Also put an addition sign where d subraction sign is to get the full per annum pay. i think the 887k is for d allowance. GOODLUCK to all new TCN staff. pls comment on this if u think in d same direction

cyraxjay: Guys , do not be discourgaed by what you see on the letter. I collected mine today. True, on the letter its 37,000 but I have it from reliable source that the minimum is 100 thousand monthly for officer II.

Arysexy: Guy 1 year training is just a waste of time. 3 to 6 months is ok. Got up to 4 yrs post graduate experience, them wan add anoda 1 year to it. Man done old na. Just dnt understand them.

DAZZLEME88: Hello everyone. I was called this morning by a staff of Federal Ministry of Power. He requested for the correct spelling of my names. I cannot draw any conclusion from the conversation, I only observed enthusiasm from his tone. I am optimistic.

chukdc: Governor Fayemi of ekiti state,stated about 8 weeks ago that 500 engineers have being recruited for NIPP generating station in the nigerdelta ,you can search it out online.

chukdc: i make spirited effort to go to TCN headquarters in Abuja and source for information.

chukdc: Last year 500 engineers were employed in the end of last year for phcn generation company.They are being trained now- at Niger state.
