These guys are first class. I expect that at least half of them would have gotten scholarships from their university of choice by now and moved on. When govt responds it will be a plus. However, govt should not abandon her citizens half-way. NUC, do the needful. Additionally, one mumu thing by GEJ administration is that he didn't structure things for sustainability. If it is well spelt out in 2015 budget via NUC, it will be uneasy for new govt to throw it out. But was it? I wish you luck, hoping PRESSID fund wasn't used for campaign or Diezani largesse. |
krested07:That info is 100% reliable. I said it earlier. World Bank had already said where interviews will hold and Nigeria wasn't there. It's good to remain positive but honestly I'll be surprised if any of the profiles in that interview is a regular follower or poster on nairaland. |
Hmmm . . . just stumbled into this thread. I'll really be surprised if anyone comes here to write he/she is going for the interview. Here might not be where to get the info but know that interview is ongoing and will soon be over as positions are being filled. |

Just In . . . Five people have been killed while 50 others injured in a chemical explosion at Laminga water treatment plant in Jos, Police Command Spokesman in Plateau State, Emmanuel Abu, says. Details later. . . http://www.punchng.com/news/five-killed-50-injured-in-jos-explosion/ http://leadership.ng/news/449430/5-people-killed-50-others-injured-in-a-chemical-explosion-at-laminga-water-treatment-plant-in-jos-police-command-spokesman-in-plateau-emmanuel-abu-says UPDATE At least eight persons have been confirmed dead and others injured following a chemical explosion at the Plateau Water Board treatment plant around the British America junction in Jos the Plateau State capital. Daily Trust gathered that the explosion occurred around 3:45am on Sunday [Saturday] raising alarm that it may have been another bomb explosion. A staff of Plateau Water Board Saturday confirmed the incident to our correspondent saying a chlorine pipe had bursted and the impact had raised down some buildings around the area. The source who did not want to be quoted said 15 persons had been affected among which eight persons died in the hospital while seven where receiving treatment. He said "when the pipe bursted, it released chlorine and you know it is like gas so it raised down some buildings." However, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), DSP Emmanuel Abu on Sunday [Saturday] morning discarded insinuations that the loud sound from the explosion was as a result of a bomb explosion. Abu said the treatment plant had been cordoned off by the police and management of the plant have been advised to take necessary precautionary steps not to allow anyone into the plant. He said a number of persons had been injured in the explosion and were presently receiving treatment at the Plateau Specialist Hospital. "Our antibomb squad took control of the area and they evacuated the affected persons to the hospital. Sadly, five persons died in the hospital while others are receiving treatment," said the Police spokesperson. http://www.dailytrust.com.ng/weekly/index.php/new-news/21259-jos-chemical-explosion-8-confirmed-dead |

elbinmanny:No presidential candidate fills his form with his hands, there are people who do all that. MU.MU! Show us Jonathan's own form let us see. You that forged the form to post, you cannot even spell surname?? It is not 'SURENAME', it is 'SURNAME'. |
In the past few days, the video of renowned Enugu priest, Rev. Fr Ejike Mbaka, titled “From Goodluck to Badluck” has been the most trending. Surprisingly, the presidential spokespersons, popularly nicknamed ‘Jonathan attack dogs’ have not responded. It is widely known that anybody who crossed President Jonathan’s path with comments or statements criticizing his administration will be vehemently vituperated by one or more of Reuben Abati, Doyin Okupe and Reno Omokri (even if the critic is a toddler). Four days down the line, there is no direct reply by the PDP, or the Media and Publicity Secretary. This leaves me with possible reasons why the presidency may or will not reply Fr Mbaka. It is a critical time and they don’t want to lose points any further. Catholic Church is like a family and any personal attack on the Rev. Fr. by the presidential aides will tear the South-East (highly catholic populated) even further. You will see even those Catholics who do not support Mbaka’s message turn around to hate any external person that will condemn the man of God on the New Year message. Catholic is a family and even with their differences and misunderstanding they will always come together to fight an external enemy. The GEJ advisers must have learnt from what happened to Ohakim in Imo State contributing to his loss of re-election bid. It hunts him till date. People don't easily mess with Catholic Church. My insinuations were further buttressed by PDP National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh, when he put up a post on the PDP facebook wall advising followers not to attack Mbaka. Part of his post “I want to appeal to some of these online support persons and/or groups to immediately stop and cease all attacks on Rev.Fr. Mbaka. The south east being a strong catholic and Christian strong hold will not condone a campaign against a Priest. Besides, if you are truly a child of God please do know that a mockery of a recognized symbol of God's authority is unacceptable even where we totally disagree with his message”. |
I understood Baker Hughes has put recruitment on hold. I don't think graduate FEs are among though, an experienced candidate was informed just a few days before she was scheduled to discuss her offer package. It is not clear, however, if this development is related to the Halliburton/Baker merger or the falling oil price. |
I have sent you this application a couple of times so I can use my spare time to be doing it but it seems you don't review applications. I passed the tests very well. |
tolutweety:Good you've done your best. Best wishes! |
