Taking over another man's country o |
The February 25 presidential and national assembly elections have been concluded. While the presidential is still in dispute, the Senate ticket for FCT is still attracting reactions. The following are the factors that may have affected the re-election of Aduda, who has been in the National Assembly for 20 years as an indigenous candidate against Labour Party’s Ireti Kingibe. Poor Service Delivery Aduda did well to empower some of his kinsmen to be self-reliant. But his impact was not felt by millions of indigenous peoples in the rural areas of the FCT and the non-indigenes living with them. Towards election periods, bulldozers and sands are moved into sites of inner-roads in some of the suburbs without any substantial work and are moved away soon after. With the acute poor road, water supply, healthcare and educational challenges in the FCT, Aduda did not attract enough of these facilities. The Ministers of the FCT, who have always been appointed as administrators from outside the territory, only concentrate mega billion-naira projects like flyovers, street lights and urban renewal projects in the high-brow areas with no impact in the hinterlands. INEC Ballot Paper Confusion INEC contributed to the loss of Aduda. It is true that the native and non-indigenous populations of the FCT were overwhelming in support of the election of Peter Obi for the presidential ticket, some of them, however, wanted to retain Aduda in the Senate due to his experience. But INEC played a fast one on them by producing ballot papers with confusing colouration and tiny identification captions. INEC also removed the initials of the parties from the ballot paper which further confused many voters. Worse of all, INEC refused to insert the photograph of the various candidates alongside the logo on the ballot papers as is done in other African countries. All these omissions confused many voters both literate and non-literate and caused a serious Tsunami that affected some candidates. The right distinction was made by only few states like Nasarawa State. Crave for Change With the alarming condition of living of the FCT indigenes, many of the people wanted to test another form of representation. Senator-elect Kingibe promised to address these gaps for the natives, which will be a big win for them. So, the test of the pudding is in the eating. All eyes are now on her to help unravel the cog in the underbelly of the development aspiration of the FCT indigenes for so many years. However, where she fails to deliver and the development gaps remain, it is important that the FCT indigenous population begin early to engage the non-indigenes and produce credible alternative candidate to seek the senatorial seat next time.

Good move. Criminals and election riggers must not be allowed to destroy the country |
Sanwo-Olu is a good man. Many Igbos will vote for him regardless |
Good to know that the election was widely rigged and must not stand. Cancel the damn fraud! |
APC is an evil, demonic party They want to intimidate Nigerians to win election for their evil Muslim-Muslim contraption. Demonic people. God will disgrace their evil contraption of thugs and terrorists to suppress voter turnout for other fair political parties in Lagos, South East and South South! God will disgrace their evil plot using Wike, Orji Kalu, Uzodimma, Nnamani and Akpabio to twist the people's will in Rivers, Abia, Imo, Enugu and Akwa Ibom states. God will disgrace the plot to wipe out whole senatorial districts in Anambra Nnewi, Ihialla (why are we discovering thousands of discarded PVCs in Nnewi?) and in Imo such as Orlu, Orsu, Oru, Ideato, Izombe and parts of Okigwe - the same areas they manufactured thousands of funny voter lists and were busted by Imo Ugochinyere for their fraud and they began attacking and killing his supporters, they have now sacrificed these areas as no APC's plot to win at all costs in the North even when it is obvious they are losing in the North West and North Central! APC will never win an election again in Nigeria. Their evil policies, bloodshed, bigotry, sectionalism and hate must be retired alongside their candidates! Nigerians, you have the powers rise up and speak on Febraury 25🇳🇬

PETER OBI, ORIENT PETROLEUM RESOURCES PLC AND ANAMBRA/KOGI SUCCESS STORY Convinced of the enormous deposit of crude oil and gas in the Anambra River basin that could help to shore up the state’s paltry less than N4bn monthly allocation, Peter Obi invested billions of Anambra funds into the Orient Petroleum Resources helping them acquire the licence for oil exploitation. Today, Anambra and neighbouring Kogi State are both beneficiaries of the proceeds of the 13% derivation from the oil exploration investment of Obi, which is a boost to both states in the provision of service to the people.

kingsways:PETER OBI AND NIGERIA’S SOVEREIGN INVESTMENT When Peter Obi was tapped by President Goodluck Jonathan as an honorary economic adviser while still serving as Anambra governor under APGA, he assisted the then Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to set up the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) in 2011/2012 to save a percentage of Nigeria’s oil revenues in long-term assets with an initial $1bn investment, which many of his co-governors opposed. Obi’s idea, derived from his Sinking Fund clause in Anambra’s budgeting system, was to protect the future of Nigeria’s unborn children.

Nigerians all over the country, go out there and vote Peter Obi of the LP. NOBODY can stop an election in the South East. INEC has the power under the Electoral Act, 2022 to postpone the election in some areas if there are threats. But generally, people will still vote. Say no to FAKE NEWS! Say no to VIOLENCE! |

Ex-APC presidential candidate allegedly demolishes paint factory A lawyer, Chukwuma-Machukwu Ume, SAN, has petitioned the Chairman, All Progressives Congress (APC), Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, over alleged illegal demolition of an ultra-modern paint factory by a chieftain of the party, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, in Enugu State. Ume, in a petition signed by Jerome Mukang, a lawyer in his law firm on behalf of Legacy Paints Limited, also copied the APC presidential candidate, Sen. Bola Tinubu. He said the demolition was carried out during the pendency of a lawsuit over matters relating to the disputed plot of land. The senior lawyer, in the petition dated December 23, 2022 urged the two leaders to investigate Kennedy-Ohanenye, who was also the only female presidential aspirant in the party’s primary. He alleged that the demolition of the chemical industry located at Plot M4, Cattle Lairage, Emene, Enugu State and with over 70 staff on its payroll, was orchestrated by Kennedy-Ohanenye. The lawyer narrated how Kennedy-Ohanenye allegedly used the APC youth leader, Mazi Ezinwa, and other youth wing members to damage, pull down and totally destroy the operational paint factory premises when matters on the land dispute were pending in several courts. The petition reads in part: “It is on record that in 2013, our client, Legacy Paints Limited, was granted Certificate of Occupancy over a piece of land by the Enugu State Government to construct its ultra modern chemical industry in line with the Federal Government policy to boost the country’s industrial sector. “The factory (with over 70 employees in its workforce) has been in operation since then until yesterday December 22, 2022. “Curiously the giant manufacturing industry premises were pulled down yesterday by your party’s erstwhile 2022 presidential aspirant (Barr. Uju Ken Ohanenye) with bulldozers and guided by the APC youths led by Mazi Ezinwa A.A, Enugu state chapter, who in their thousands were armed to the teeth protecting the bulldozers while the factory was going down the drain. “It is disheartening to know that your erstwhile presidential aspirant Barr. Uju Ken Ohanenye, a lawyer could take this step when she is fully aware that matters relating to the dispute over this land are pending in the following courts: “They are Court of Appeal sitting at Enugu in appeal No: CA/E/90/2021 between Dezern Nigeria Ltd and Kenju Investment Ltd & 2 ors; High Court sitting in Enugu in suit No: E/881/2021 between Dezern Nigeria Ltd & anor V Kenju Investment Ltd; suit No: E/3A/2021 between Dezern Nig Ltd V Uju Ken Ohanenye; suit No: E/52M/202/ between Legacy Paints Ltd V Uju Ken Ohanenye and in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in suit No: FCT/HC/CV/2389/2021 between Dezern Nig Ltd V Uju Ken Ohanenye & Ors. “It is also on record that this matter has been also before the Nigerian Police and the State Security Service (SSS). “Can a presidential aspirant who is a party to a matter in court now turn around to use your youth wing to oppress the people the party is supposedly coming to govern? “By the illegal demolition carried out by your presidential aspirant, the factory’s 70 employees workforce are now jobless. Is this part of the party’s policy? Please investigate.” https://theeagleonline.com.ng/lawyer-petitions-apc-chairman-tinubu-over-alleged-illegal-demolition-of-factory-by-partys-chieftain/

Nobody can stop election in Nigeria, the Electoral Act, 2022 is clear about that. The worst that can happen is a postponement in some areas. EKPA's terrorist group is working against the South East. All political parties, all citizens and all security agencies are working hard to end the planned Taliban regime in the South East. |
Odili was delayed by the civil war and he returned to take his HSC in 1971. PO probably heard of his fame when he entered the same school. PO couldn't have been wrong. #PeterIsBetter
