And is this different from other countries? Seems you don't know how covid-19 works. the virus cant kill on its own but prey on weak immune systems/ill people to kill. meaning it hasten their death by attacking whatever is left of their defence. Hope you understand better now? Mizwisdom: I'm beginning to feel that this Corona virus issue is being politicized. If a man is suffering from hypertension and hepatitis, and dies from one or both causes and you claim he died from corona then you're not being truthful even if he tests positive because any one of those illnesses can kill at any time. But NCDC quickly added his case to the number of deaths. Something isn't right about this(my opinion). |

Luvnet: What did Jesus mean by, “My time has not yet come?”
John 2:4 “And Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does that have to do with us? My hour has not yet come.” John 7:30 “So they were seeking to seize Him; and no man laid his hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.” John 8:20 “These words He spoke in the treasury, as He taught in the temple; and no one seized Him, because His hour had not yet come.” Here the statement is apparently in reference to the hour for public manifestation of the Messiahship, meaning not the hour of his sufferings and death, in which sense he sometimes uses this phrase; as if the hint was, that it was not proper for him to work miracles as yet, lest it should provoke his enemies to seek his life before his time; but rather the time of his public ministry and miracles, which were to go together, and the one to be a proof of the other; though it seems to have a particular regard to the following miracle, the time of doing that was not yet come; the proper juncture, when all fit circumstances meeting together, it would be both the more useful, and the more illustrious: Or his meaning is, that his time of doing miracles in public was not yet; and therefore, though he was willing to do this miracle, yet he chose to do it in the most private manner; so that only a few, and not the principal persons at the feast should know it: wherefore the reproof was not so much on the account of the motion itself, as the unseasonableness of it; and so his mother took it. So what happened to all the miracles they were all doing before the advent of covid-19? their time came, then pulsed or what is the meaning of all these sermons? BTW, we are talking about all the thousands of pastors we have in Nigeria that have been doing miracles every sunday until 3 months ago not Jesus who went about doing good while on earth! |

Those who drove from Benin-ore road to Lagos on an empty tank no longer have power to heal
those who always deliver people from the spirit of lesbianism no longer know they are anointed.
Those who always claim God called them and they called their own pastors"" have gone mute.
Those who always heal the sick and make the lame walk every Sunday no longer remember their calling.
fooolish followers will defend them from heaven to earth.

As usual, they are trying to shut down the poster, you men worshipers.
Did Jesus not lead by example?
Why are your religious leaders called "leaders", shepherds and co?
So the sheep should go and do the job of the shepherd and at the end of the day, you still want the sheep to accord the shepherd their so called respect?
Leaders lead from the front, not expecting their followers to do their job.
The OP didn't claim to be any of the anointed. no where in the bible did any follower do the job of his or her leader when the leader was around.
But then, this is Nigeria where people worship their pastors, so they will defend them at all cost!

So you mean we have more good people in Nigeria, yet we are like this? please what is the definition of "good "in your dictionary? RichardKajola: no a good person can rule, the problem is just that the road to becoming a president makes it almost impossible for a good man to get there without soiling his hands.
And I believe there are many good people in the country (I think they are either the majority or half the population), the major problem is that the system is corrupt and their "goodness" means they never climb the ladder and you and I never get to know them. We are not all theives in this country.
Remember bad news sells faster and better than good news so what you will see in the media is more of the negative aspect and unfortunately many people are completely fooled by what is presented by the media |

If u work for IOC's ud understand how this is very unfair to rohr...no country pays an international foreign coach in der local currency in africa you guys won't stop fallling my hands sha whatever his salary is in dollars get paid to him.in naira he can change back to dollars and still get same value if hes spending it in Nigeria, he will even get more value for it so if he was getting paid at 320 to a.dollar before, he will now get 387.to.a.dollar what do south africa.,Egypt, tunisia etc pay with,? btw, why not compare in a working system /continent? |

In the last AFCON our boys almost went on strike because they were offered thier pay in naira. If our SE boys who are so-called Nigerian patriotic citizens are being paid in dollars, how much more an expatriate?.
Let Pinnick extend this same ultimatum to the SE. No naira, no pay!. According to Chris Green, SE players get paid into their naira accounts. |

komekn: The pertinent question is Why❓
Tell me just one Nigerian coaches who has the same proven tested experiential competence acquired from the top leagues of Europe❓❓
We are talking about objective merit and not sentimental preference.
As a consequence foreign coaches will have a clear objective based advantage based on qualification.
That doesn't mean to say a Nigerian coaches cannot do the job. But they lack the qualification and experiential competence and as a consequence they loose out.
Why can't Nigerian coaches after playing in Europe get thier badges and get experience. Look at Kole Toure assistant to Brendan Rogers. He is getting good experience and showing himself competent.
So l don't think they are given undue and unjustified preference as you claim. But have q clear proven competency based advantage.
This is the kind of thinking that has stifled out progress as a nation. Because l am from a particular state, LG, tribe l become entitled not by the competence of merit. But nepotism and favoritism based on sentiment.
That's the enthronment of mediocrity.
Finally, you do not nurture players for the national team you select players based on merit. You know the answer They make More money from employing foreign coaches How many black coaches are in Europe? BTW, we have more than 5 Nigerian coaches with Europe/FIFA badges and some have also managed clubs in Europe BTW, does Rohr qualify for the same standard you expect of your fellow black? Is Rohr also with the experimental experience of a top league? He coached which club again and how many years ago? Does that mean he should work from his home country and earn in foreign currency or what exactly is your point? You should know this but my message is not pro local coach, so no need deviating. My points is that he can reject the offer if he thinks he can't work with the conditions. |
