Nice one
realpoacher:
Most likely

With a draw you still get points. I have been able to get the formula from fifa website.

P = M x I x T x C

For November

Match 1: Algeria vs Nigeria
Scores = 1 - 1
Strength of confrendation = 0.86 - 0.86
Strength of opposition = 159(200-41) - 133(200-67)
Therefore M = 1 - 1
I = 2.5
T = 159(Algeria) - 133(Nigeria)
C = 0.86

Nigeria P = M x I x T x C = 1 x 2.5 x 159 x 0.86
= 286

Match 2: Argentina vs Nigeria
Scores: 2 - 4
M = 0 - 3
I = 1 (friendly)
T = 159 (Argentina) - 196( Nigeria)
C ={ 0.98 (South America) + 0.86(Africa)} /2
= 0.92
Nigeria P = M x I x T x C = 3 x 1 x 196 x 0.92 = 541

Total points for the month of November =
286 + 541 = 827 x 0.4(% for number of matches)
= 331

Current Nigeria fifa rankings points = 721(41st)

721 + 331 = 1052

Therefore, Nigeria's November points should be 1052. Barring any plus or minus, we should be around 25 grin in world rankings by December.

Thank you Argentina cheesy

Where did the bible ask you to tithe using money?

Answer just that one first.

This Diamondville is truly not a bible Christian.

Cherry picking the bible, when bible references are dropped and aren't supporting her lies, she ignores and try to divert the discussion to irrelevant rhetories.

May God keep us away from lovers of the traditions of men.

It will reflect on our November ranking to be released in December.

We're likely to jump to like 3rd in Africa and maybe 35th in the world. We haven't lost in about 7 games now.
realpoacher:
Please someone should help me calculate our fifa ranking points gathered from this match.

Before the game Argentina ranked 4th. Nigeria ranked 41st. According to fifa rankings point calculator, a lowly ranking team gains more points for winning against a high ranking team.

Make una help with the calculations oo!

But Mikel was in Chelsea for years or are you saying Chelsea is not a classy team?

Sentiments!
krattoss:
if mikel should find himself in a classy team..he would do more than pirlo. .pirlo's luck is that he play in the midst of world class stars thereby giving him the edge with trophies and all...

Mikel is pirlo 5.1..

O pari cool
You obviously know little of Pirlo. I no wan continue this one boss.

I did, I am not saying he didn't perform well but to say he's an upgrade of Pirlo, haba. He's not far away but not better than Pirlo.
Let's leave at that.
krattoss:
did u watch mikel today...dude was a total baller..controlling the mildfield like its his stronghold ..

That is why I said Ebuehi takes my pick. I am not in any way saying Ebuehi must be the one. It is my preference.

He did well today but we shouldn't use just one game to displace a tested Shehu, he has more games to play to cement his place
TheGoodJoe:
Big shout out to Ebuehi. Shehu Abdullahi was having a nice game but the injury gave Ebuehi the chance to show what he can do.

What is impressive about Ebuehi is the ease he runs up and down the flanks. With the right timing. Shehu has served well and is yet to have a bad game. However, Ebuehi gets my pick.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:49pm On Nov 14, 2017
Well we never had a GK so anything was better off than what we had on ground lol.

Well yes nothing has been confirmed, just goofing around bro
Oasis007:
grin

Nothing belongs to anybody yet Dude. Did you ever think Iwobi could play SS superbly like he did in the Match?!

Did you ever envisage Ebuehi and Idowu would perform excellently in GWG Shirt?! We need a formidable Team Bro. Uzoho is commanding, confident and seems ready for the Job. Did you ever expect him to outshine the experienced Ones in the Team?!

Nothing is IMPOSSIBLE bro!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:32pm On Nov 14, 2017
Yes he's better.

Looks more like a professional GK than the rest.
Loogan:
It's painful not watching this match!!!
Please anyone care to give a sincere detail on uzohos performance in the game....basically to see if he's better than our over available keepers
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:30pm On Nov 14, 2017
But Aina wasn't invited to fill the RB, he was called upon for the LB position so he should fight for that one. RB belongs to Shehu and Ebuehi. Senates already passed this into law! Lol
Oasis007:
Guess you know Aina is a better RB than a LB?! LOL!

Echiejile needs to up his Game, coz it seems Idowu ain't coming to the Team to warming the Bench!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:28pm On Nov 14, 2017
Please someone should package a full highlight of this game for us o. We need to study the clip on this thread for one week and discuss the cons and pros.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:26pm On Nov 14, 2017
RB now confirmed. We have 2 solid RBs.

Shehu and Ebuehi confirmed!

We have 3 LBs, the starter is what we need to pick from the 3, then drop one.

Elderson, seems your time is almost up except you up your game!

Idowu and Aina are knocking at the door.
Oasis007:
Truth be said....he's fantastic. Hard to believe he ain't be playing for the Team so far. He's really a big Competitor for Shehu.

So we played 2 "slow midifielders" and still won 4:2?

It's all in the head men!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:18pm On Nov 14, 2017
Yes o and we found answers in Ebuehi and Idowu

Hallelujah Ahmandulihai lol
tbaba1234:
Like i said earlier, that formation is heavily dependent on the wing backs....
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:16pm On Nov 14, 2017
Sorry sir but we don't need anymore RB.

What we have now is enough!

You can help us scout for goal keepers.

komekn:
Seyi Ojo is injured currently.

But I would have more trust in Aina who reads the game from the perspective of a defender. Seyi Ojo may have more pace and could possibly adapt in the role. He has only one advantage over Aina if you can call Iran advantage he is naturally left footed.

But then Aina is quite competent with his left foot.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 7:13pm On Nov 14, 2017
Last sub should be onyekuru or kayode.

Problem was the wingbacks in the first half

Great vision by Rohr

Great job! 3:2

Super subs.

First touch for Idowu results to a goal.

Now bring it on!
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:36pm On Nov 14, 2017
Ezenwa should go and thank his stars he's not the one at the post today, at least he's sure of going to the worldcup as the third GK if luck smiles on him.
Truidstar:
Finally, hope goldfish80 can now see that Akpeyi has been exposed for the fraud that he is. He shld pls stick to chippa united and never come near this team again. I can se Alloy Agu's input is zero as usual.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:32pm On Nov 14, 2017
Aina is having alot of issues with a fast left legged winger because he's not a natural LB.

He was turned In and out twice by D' Maria.

Second goal came from his slowness to close down his opponent, took him time to go after the ball (can't really blame him much, boy was confused on which of the sides to turn to lol).

Shehu trying to far since he's in a confortable position

We need to see Idowu the natural LB.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:25pm On Nov 14, 2017
You're right, the current formation is too choky
SerVik:
The argentines are charging at us, closing us down even before we hold the ball. We are making erratic passes and poor decisions because of their excellent pressing. That's what I was saying earlier in the week.

The solution is to bring in wingers and switch back to a 4-3-3 spread the passes wide. By the time they run from one end of the pitch to the other, they'll wear out.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:25pm On Nov 14, 2017
He should be allowed to be taking our setpieces. Simon and Moses should take the backseat.
sontoly:
It is evident that Iheanoacho offers more in the attack, we have been lacking in a set piece taker, now we found him.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:23pm On Nov 14, 2017
Or just bamboozle it out. He's too shakey, seems he had a traumatic childhood.

Always afraid of everything include his gloves.
tbaba1234:
Akpeyi panics too much.. He could have brought the ball into the box with his foot and held it...
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:21pm On Nov 14, 2017
Uzohor, Musa, kayode and onyekuru should come in asap.

Formation should be reverted to 4:3:3, 4:4:2 or 4:2:3:1. We need speedsters of our own.
Icon79:
And Daniel Akpeyi is a hopeless goalkeeper.

Confirmed!

O pari
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 6:16pm On Nov 14, 2017
Akpeyi, your days are numbered.

Ezenwa is likely laughing and praising his God that he wasn't fielded.

This formation is a no no

Nothing between the midifield and defense, like I said earlier on, if we don't have enough bite in the front, the back will suffer for it, now the back has been bombarded by the Argentines cos our own attack is missing.

3:4: 3 might even be better or back to 4:4;2

3:5:2/5;3;2 not working
