I doubt it, maybe they look at "experience" before picking because we have about 2 young Nigeria ref (Qadri Adebimpe and Ferdinand Udoh, both less than 30yrs (very true to their ages) and have been officiating both CCL, CCC, nations cup qualifiers and world cup qualifiers. Look them up, they are FIFA badged refs.
Joebie:
None have shown they are good enough for that level of officiating

You were there when he used them when he's not a military man? There is no dictator anywhere on earth that has no military background and Mugagbe got none, yet you think he's a dictator? The powers that be allowed him be and nothing else. The "power elites" simply wanted him to be there. He's no dictator, rather a puppet used by the main powers within Zimbabwe. You won't understand.

If he was a dictator and they wanted him out, the military after taking over won't even keep him anywhere near power as it's currently being seen.
billyG:
Look bros,he use d rubber stamp parliament to give him another term after his only allowable two term finish,he has been doing that gain & again for d paste 36yrs!is that 1 not dictatorial & undemocratic? other african leaders who does that are paul biya(cameroun),late omar bongo(gabon),late gnassingbe nyadema(togo),blaise campaore(burkina faso),yahaya jamme(gambia),late lassana conte(guinea),hosni mubarak(egypt),omar el bashir(sudan),mathieu kerekou(benin)

But we have seen nwakame in less than 45 mins na and on a bad pitch, not a fair yardstick for judgement.

Yes iheanacho and Ighalo sure bet.
Kog45:
Pls remove Musa cos is already part of the team,we have seen Nwakaeme, not convincing.

Let see more of Kayode,Oyekwuru and Onuachi Paul may be they w add something to the team.

But for now Iheanacho and Ighalo are sure bet.

(Photo) World Cup : Simulator Predicts Nigeria Will Face Argentina, England & Denmark In Group C

Published: November 18, 2017
Nigeria could face Argentina for the fifth time in the group stage of the World Cup if the simulation of the World Cup draw conducted by
allnigeriasoccer.com is anything to go by.
With seven months left before the tournament begins in Russia, the only thing left is for the thirty two qualified nations to discover their opponents in the group stage.
The Super Eagles were paired with Argentina, England and Denmark in Group C, while Brazil were drawn with Spain, Sweden and Australia in Group H, and the two groups are the strongest on paper.
Nigeria met Argentina in the group stage at the 1994, 2002, 2010 and 2014 World Cups, losing by the odd goal on each occasion, but will fancy their chances of beating the South Americans if they cross path again in Russia after thrashing the two-time world champions 4-2 in an international friendly in Krasnodar on Tuesday.
A star-studded Super Eagles featuring the likes of Austin Okocha, Finidi George,Nwankwo Kanu and Taribo West lost 4-1 to Denmark at the Stade de France in the second round of the 1998 World Cup, the only meeting between the two countries at the mundial.
Fifteen years ago, the three-time African champions played out a goalless draw with England in their final group game of the World Cup.
The 2018 FIFA World Cup draw will take place on December 1 at the State Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Russia.
World Cup Draw Simulator

So all those names being thrown around nko?

Is he more qualified than Musa, onyekuru, dresser, bazee, nwankame, Paul etc? Even from the names here, Musa is likely ahead par poor performance/injury. All the same, let's wait for the coach to do his job next year and also fate.
Kog45:
Ighalo and Iheanacho settled, who are the others more qualified.
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by somehow: 11:35am On Nov 18, 2017
You and kayode Sha, why should he be there if there are others more qualified? Lol
Humility017:
nice one...in that forward role I will expect kayode to pick up the last slot...or even Paul or dessers....but i think kayode will likely pick the remaining spot.

while on the midfield.....
Joel obi will be a perfect notch....
I just pray rohr get to notice him....even though he may not get to play much games...but having such a creative player in the bench...is a plus..he can fit into mikel shoes....
i see his agent to be a lazy dude......can't he blow his hype...

and for the defense..role I still think we can get one of this German born prior the World cup......if none we can then try Uche Agbo..I am not just sold on him reason because of his quick propensity to get bookings...

I don't get you, first you said north Africans are stronger, now you're saying central? FYI, the countries you listed are still seen as "West African" and apart from Cameroon which is more of Wes African than Central, the other two aren't physically stronger than west africans. Zambia is south

Mali
Senegal
Nigeria
Chad
Niger
Etc have very huge, tall and strong male compared to other parts of Africa.

Unlike yours, this is not an opinion but facts that you can research yourself.

Central Africa bro... Cameroon, Congo, Zambia... Those guys will knock us out any day any time.
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 11:11am On Nov 18, 2017
You mean ijaw own all these states you listed or they live there just like Benin, esan, Yoruba live in other parts of Nigeria too? Before I even grant you more attention, just need to know what you meant by "they are from".

How can a people be so scattered that they claim every land that accommodates them?

Where exactly did Ijaw originate from and where is their accestral home?
Afriifa:
now I get your point, since Edo state is far from bayelsa, there is no way Ijaws could make claim of it.. but let me teach you, a bit. Ijaws are from Delta, Rivers, Ondo, Akwa-Ibom before you mention Bayelsa.. the Ijaws in Rivers alone are much more than the ones in Bayelsa State. the Ijaws in Delta can equally match the Bayelsa population and the Ijaws in Ondo(and Akwa-ibom) that I know of, can match the size of the entire Edo state if added with the ones from Edo state.. so now look at the table of goodwill.. all these places that Ijaws occupy has crude deposit and they are all within the Niger Delta.. there is coincidence in that Mr man. God makes no mistake.. so don't ever claim to own gelegele because you believed ijaws to be from bayelsa state, that's kind of ignoramus to my understanding.

You're not saying anything for now.

the edo constitution that you just stated if at all it does exist, can not supersede that of the Republic, so Mr man stop fooling around...

PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 11:07am On Nov 18, 2017
Why did you call it a traditional head and not "king"?
coputa:
Onogie is a traditional head in Esanland and not a chieftaincy title.
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 10:32am On Nov 18, 2017
Onogie is no king, it's more of a chieftaincy title
coputa:
If we can have Onogie in Esan land in Edo state,I do not see anything wrong with the Ijaws having theirs(pere).
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 10:30am On Nov 18, 2017
North by political grouping, west by ownership.

No story, let's see what becomes of the so called "coronation".

TonyeBarcanista:
That law is against law of nature and is NULL AND VOID!!!

There is no indigenous Yoruba or non Ijaw in Bayelsa. The indigenous Ijaws in Gelegele have decided and SO SHALL IT BE
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 10:29am On Nov 18, 2017
Oba of Benin lord over everyone within Edo state, that's the state law and there's nothing you can do about it. Oba of Benin reigned over the kingdom before Nigeria was formed and nothing is changing that.

Coronate your king in ijaw state or bayelsa.

Thats all.

Afriifa:
if you are not blinded by bigotry, you would have known that the Oba if bini can not rule over the Ijaws or any other ethnic group in Edo state except his tribe.. if the Olu of warri can't preside over the affairs of uhrobos in warri. what makes you think the Oba has right preside over the Ijaws? did you really ate your school fees? come on Mr eject, i said Eject!!
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 10:08am On Nov 18, 2017
I just pronounced it, what were you expecting? What does gelegele mean in ijaw and how did that land become yours when it's far away from Bayelsa?
Afriifa:
are you trying to force a meaning into it? because my Edo friends over here could barely pronounce too.
Edo is a state not a tribe. The language I interpreted it to is Benin, you don't expect an esan man to know the meaning except he understands Bini, yet he's an Edo man.
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 10:07am On Nov 18, 2017
Yoruba have balee in bayelsa, Delta, rivers state or even Kano? Tell me what I don't know.
deekseen:
I don't understand what Obaseki is trying to insinuate.

In other places the Yorubas will hhave their Baale, the Hausas will have their Seriki and the Igbos will have their Eze Ndigbo (or whatever the title is) in the same community and no one will say anything.

Now, the Ijaws crowned theirs to protect their interests and it's a problem?

The "Majority" are gods and the "Minority", footstools?

Obaseki, do your worst!
PoliticsRe: Obaseki Warns Ijaws: "Don’t Take My Tolerance For Granted" by somehow: 10:05am On Nov 18, 2017
There is only one oba in Benin and it stays so. There is nothing you can do about it. The governor has spoken, let me see what you guys can do about it.
Afriifa:
Obaseki thinks, We are scared of the Edos. Oba should have it at the back of mind that he is not King over the Ijaws.. just imagine this Governor calling a Coronation attended by 5 Ijaw Kings from different state invalid because some selfish Oba made him to say so.. (agadagba)Pere of Gbaramatu(delta was there) Amayanabo of Nembe(bayelsa was there) amayanabo of Opobo(rivers was there) pere Gbebokedi of Tubu-turo Kingdom(ondo was there) and dis Governor thinks he can stand trouble when it looms? The Oba of Benin will make things heavier for Edo state.
