Yeh SAF is the best, i can remember 3 things last season -
1. His support for Graham Poll after JM lashed out at Poll, he called him to officiate the game between ManU and Chelsea ( he had this granted)
2. Poll as usual did the wish of SAF and painted half the field with yellow narrowly missing Obi.
3. Just before a match with middlesborough, in the press conference, he raised an alarm alleging that they would try to injure Ronaldo. In the game, the first person to have been close to one of Ronaldo's dives received a yellow card.
4. Somehow most refs seem to award him penalties at his wish while refusing more legal ones for opponents.

Been with Chelsea since about 1996, yes that means i was around when Kanu would not leave us the hell alone, coming always as a freaking substitute to embarass. Its not about when you join a club or who makes you join it, its your loyalty. I joined cuz back then we played the most entertaining piece of football in the EPL. Still Chelsea, Still bleed Blue, Still hate Arsenal and its cuz of Kanu.

PS: The young ones only came in around 1995 thats 9 years after SAF came. Before Eric, i've shown there were more expensive buys but it took another to blend them and this was after 6 years. Try using the same justice system next time you come knocking on Chelsea's door.
Chelsea's income is also gradually increasing, its on the top ten list in the world (i've dealt with this in another thread). The problem has been our expenditure in terms of players prices and wages but the board predicts we would make profit on or before 2010 and with our new activities in the market i think it would be before that time.

First Alex has more than 20 years under his belt (1986 - 2007) for ManU.
He signed a host of high profile players like - Steve Bruce, Viv Anderson, Brian McClair and Jim Leighton. Mark Hughes also returned in due time. Neil Webb and Paul Ince also came in, Gary Pallister also joined for a UK record fee of £2.3m. Still no trophies until 1990 which was an FA Cup. It was only after signing Cantona for about £1.2m that he had his first title in 1992. These were huge amounts back then.

So keep your mouth running about Chelsea's finances, Manu came through thesame ropes and took much more time to arrive.

My dear friend, i listed some of your points to make it easier to cut across them.

1. Christianity is not a recent religion, its more than 2000 years old. Besides it is has the same God with the Jewish religions before it. As a matter of fact Christianity is the refined Jewish religion so that makes it quite old indeed - seeing that the Jews trace their religion from the exact beginning of time.

2. I think the above says at least one religion has endured through time.

3. Yes there is a God and He has made himself clear through the bible. He has made himself clear through Jesus Christ, the grace of God that has appeared in human form to bring salvation to men. The mistake you make here is that you assume that God made out all this different religions but Jesus made such huge claims, one of them is when he says -

I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the father but by me John 14:6

Again, in other quotations, he goes as far as calling the others liars and thieves. This points to something, if he is indeed true - which he is - then this is the only true way to God.

4. Simple, Christianity negates every other gods and if Christianity is true, then every other god is false and vice versa. Although we acknowledge the existence of these other beings, we know that they are really demons parading themselves as gods to be worshiped.

5. It is either something is real or is not. It cant be real years ago and is not today. There is a big difference between belief and Truth. No matter how long one believes in a lie, the lie can never be true and it would be uncovered one day.

6. With this logic on why atheist are who they are i suppose i could use this for fake products too - Oh there are just so many fake currencies, films and cds that they have been uncovered, they can be no true one then. God would not die out, Jesus would not and he has promised that those who believe in him would live forever too.

7. I've dealt with part of this earlier, but for the rest a real deity - God and father of our Saviour Jesus Christ - has made himself known already, it is left for us to either look at history, evidence and believe or to ignore the rest and doubt. About God's success in convincing every one about himself - i guess you make the rules for how a deity should be and how he should operate.

I sincerely pray that as much people that have not known God and Jesus come to know him and accept him. He offers much more than this life can ever give.

I cant help but wonder at the change in our spending policy. We know go for younger guys. I think its a welcome development. Again what do you guys think of the other targets - Malouda and Miguel.
