If we are being realistic, we would realise that injuries have destroyed the Super Eagles squad which is full of a bunch of average players.

If this Super Eagles wins AFCON, it simply means that football quality is depreciating in the continent.

A signal of a man without a future but he thinks he has one.. won't realise it until it is too late. A signal of a man who does the same thing despite having the same failed results many times. What is the end? Poverty has come to make a home in him. cheesy

Good luck!

Oga, this isn't about any future. That's a fact. Millions of people benefit from this dysfunctional country and have turned out to become the wealthiest among us.

Those people would give anything to keep this country one. This is something your emotions wouldn't let you understand because you lack emotional intelligence.

NTA has to be the world's most useless TV station. Apart from having a terrible picture quality, the NTA serves as the propaganda media house of the government in power.

They claim to be building and uniting a nation that has failed to develop and be united 100 years after amalgamation.

If we hadn't had access to the CNN and other foreign TV channels, one would've thought that NTA's poor picture quality was the best the world ever had.

Nigeria will not run out of mineral resources in the next 100 years... and you won't be alive by then. Stop deceiving yourself. And it will keep getting poorer. It is like saying Niger will run out of uranium and France will stop raiding them. Like saying SA will run out of gold. Since when? Dey play.

Don't worry. You will understand this point when you are my age. Dont worry.

Good luck!

Osita himself was not a saint when he was a minister; so he is just mischievous saying this issue reveals deep systemic issues. Nope...this issue reveals nothing we had not known. Rather, these issues and many to come are telling us that the time to split is now. Nigeria needs to split. Each region should go make or destroy itself. Period.

Stop this wishful thinking. Nigeria will not split.
What keeps this country going is the oil and gas. The only thing that can end this country is when the resources are exhausted.

The day they get exhausted, that will mark the end of this pseudo country. Until then, every citizen will try to steal as much as they can from the system, so nobody should blame Madam Edu. Her problem is that she was caught in the act.

Politics / Re: Chieftaincy Title: ‘Soludo Envies Me’ – Ubah Responds To Suspension Of Monarch by sonature1: 7:09am On Jan 10
AsomughaChuks05:
Senator Ifeanyi Ubah should shut up. Governor Chukwuma Soludo is right to label him a man of questionable character. This is a man whom billionaire Cosmas Maduka of Coscharis Group publicly accused of duping him and Ubah had no defence to clear himself. It is no secret that he also doesn't see eye to eye with Innoson whom he beefs probably because Innoson is a much better business man than he is. He is virtually at war with his Nnewi brethren who are disgusted by his shady character. If a character like Ubah is allowed to come close to the seat of power in Agu Awka, Anambra is gone because he will use the state as collateral to collect loans to revive his comatose tank farms in Lagos. A chronic debtor and crook will not be allowed near Anambra state treasury.

While I clearly understand this point, Soludo has no right to tell a king who to give a chieftaincy title or not. As though they are any better, our political leaders have reduced our traditional institutions to nothing because the constitution gives them excess power.

The governor ought to be playing advisory role in this case, not taking a disciplinary action against the traditional ruler for bestowing a chieftaincy title on a public-spirited HNI who has made giant strides to empower his people and develop his local community.

Is it gbajabiamila, akpabio, ganduje, matawale, and their likes? It is not a coincidence at all.
Some of us rise an alarm that his appointees have corruption cases but he ignored our cry.Just few months ,our allegations are manifesting.Firstly, with apkabio sending (bribes to lawmakers to screen ministerial nominated by Tinubu) prayers to lawmakers mailboxes. The ministers are recouping back their bribes from public funds.

Nigeria has weak institutions and presidents come and go without making efforts to fix the problem because they are beneficiaries of the weak institutions.

The black man is evil. If you get the opportunity to serve, you won't be any different. Nigérians who cry about leadership are mostly those who aren't as privileged as those they call unprintable names.

The AGF willingly approved Toluhi Martins Olarewaju and Christopher Okoh Joseph as signatures to the NSIPA account, and they aided Edu to loot N14billion between October 18 to December 20. This is whete I stopped reading.

This is just a propaganda. If you say that someone stole money, provide the evidence. That lunatic, Jude Ude, must think that #14 billion is 14 million. If they steal #14 billion, how much was allocated to her ministry then? By the way, most ministries don't even get up to 50% of the amount they usually budget.

I like that the position of the COAS is held by a soldier from the South. It was becoming worrisome that the northerners saw the Nigérian Military as their birthright to the point of using Lagos' state of origin to join the Army.

Education / Secondary School Teachers In Taraba Must Have Master’s Degree – Gov Kefas by sonature1: 5:21pm On Jan 09
Taraba State Governor, Dr Agbu Kefas, has declared that master’s degree is the minimum academic qualification for anyone wishing to teach in the state’s secondary schools.

The governor disclosed the plans by his government for the education sector during a dinner with journalists in Jalingo on January 7.

According to him, the minimum academic qualification for teachers in primary school will be a university first degree, stressing that the current era when the National Certificate of Education, NCE, is the minimum academic qualification for primary school teachers will soon be over.

He noted that the study of History as a subject would be reintroduced in the basic education curriculum starting from primary schools in the state.

Kefas said; “We are going to reintroduce History studies in our primary and secondary schools in the state to lay a solid foundation for accelerated development.

“In no distant time, primary school teachers in the state must be first degree holders while secondary school teachers must have a minimum of master’s degree to enhance the state’s education quality.

“This is the main reason we have slashed the school fees for undergraduates in the state university. We must secure a good future for our children. Our free education policy is not a joke and anybody who stands on the way to achieving this will be crushed.”

The governor called on journalists to monitor the implementation of the state government’s free education policy in primary and secondary schools to ensure that all the school administrators were doing the right thing.

Politics / Full Contactless Passport Application, Home Delivery To Begin In March by sonature1: 2:12pm On Jan 09
The Ministry of Interior said the Federal Government will begin full contactless passport application processing and home delivery in March.

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, disclosed this in an interview on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Monday.

He said, “Plans are almost ready for the commencement of full contactless passport applications and the delivery of the same to applicants via courier.

“Starting March 8, Nigerians will no longer have to come to our offices for their biometrics; they can do it from the comfort of their homes and have their passports delivered to them.

“The whole solution is almost ready. We have phase one, phase two, and phase three. This is phase one that we have delivered. Phase two is the one in the diaspora.

“The one in the diaspora will be delivered on February 8. Then phase three is the contactless biometric whereby you don’t even need to go again and that’s March 8.

“I guarantee you that in two months’ time, you sit at home, do your biometrics, fill in your delivery address and we send it to you via courier.”

According to him, Nigerians should hold the ministry to its promises, expressing optimism that passport application in the country will become a much more seamless process soon.

“The Ministry of Interior is poised towards the delivery of every promise that we made,” he maintained.

“With this now, the only thing you need to do there: you have an appointment, you just go there, take your biometrics. No picture and nobody is looking at your documents,”
the minister added.

Check how Wike builds in Rivers State too. Govt builds to meet the accommodation needs of the people... unless that project is wholly owned by private people. You people don't like to learn or take corrections. Everything na envy and jealousy to you.
