KnownUnknown:I actually understand it, and they make perfect sense |
QuinQ:They where all killed by Rome. The fact they all died showed none was the Messiah. But Chinua Achebe was not willing to be tortured and killed for Okonkwois that the criteria? You want me to give you people and God's who where tortured...take promiteous for example, who was tortured by Zeus for gifting fire to man. at least he did something good....what did Jesus really do in the story? So you accept thst a Jesus existed, and Jesus-like figures existed, the only Jesus that you believe never existed is the Christian Jesus!Jesus is a common name in that era...but the jesus described in the gospels is fictional. And they picked a most shameful symbol, the cross, as their sign!it's a death cult. That was the mode of execution by the Romans. Pontius pilate crucified about 500 in one day, that was why he was recalled by Rome... And they all disappeared todate except the smallest, Christianity, and you think it's just coincidence!Christianity was the national religion of the Roman empire. They propagated it. if they don't believe they behead you....it was created for social engineering. But Constantine's own mother and top generals were already Christians at the time, and he himself said he won his biggest triumph through power of Christ! That story was told by Eusebius, but when history was really checked, it was found that the story was made up... How many people who claimed they knew Krisna died for Krisna? Besides, Krishna actually livedwhy would anybody die for anybody or God. death was a consequence of man's disobedience. I mean who does it benefit, except it's a death cult, like the cult of Inanna. |
bolabizzle:talk is real cheap......it's now time to walk the walk, you are nowhere to be found. I know your type... run along now. |
QuinQ:The epistle attributed to Paul are all works by a first century sage by name Apolinus of Tyna. it was edited by John Chysostom and passed off as the epistles of Paul. Just as Jesus was created on the order of Constantine, paul too was created too.....nothing divine about it. |
QuinQ:You got this innformation from the bible, i want to see what somebody who actually met him said about him. You cant tell me, among those who met him no one knows how to write. None of the gospels are actually eye witness accounts. Then this whole matter will end. |
bolabizzle:Why should God send his spirit to hell? See Ecclesiastes 12:7 for clarification. |
That is why You exists. So that you can show love and help curb the evil on earth. |
There is no place like hell. people who believe such, don't even know what God is or what man is.....They just want to believe just to belong . Man is God having a human experience.. we are all Gods having experiences in multiple ways. when we expire, our spirit returns to the source and our body returns to the earth.(buried) |
bolabizzle:can you drop link of textbooks that actually talk about Jesus....I want to read about him. if I can read about Jesus from somebody who actually met him, that WOULD be nice so point me, |
bolabizzle:you have no idea.... there is no Jesus of history, only Jesus of faith and religion.... that don't count... |
bolabizzle:I have done and what I found is Jesus if faith and religion. nobody by that name appears in history healing the sick or raising the dead, or a zombie apocalypse...or the sun being darkened or an earthquake..... none at all.... |
bolabizzle:so why is he not mentioned in real history text? |
QuinQ:Really a nobody? so all the stories written about him in the gospels are all forgeries. thank you for proving my point. |
i QuinQ:7. Paul was created by Christianity. The works attributed to him are all works of Apolynius of Tyna. 8. He never existed, the story was told by Christians, no collaborative evidence. 9.The so called new testament is a work by those who actually invented the religion. A whole lot of forgery was going on at that time, notably by Eusebius... |
QuinQ:I asked a question, why is Jesus not mentioned in any history text book? I went further to give my reasons why he is not found in them, because he was a mythical figure, much like all the other gods before him. 1. This is pretty easy, There is no material written by somebody who actually met him and he himself did not write anything and the gospels are not eye witness accounts....They are all written in the third person. They don't even know any body who knows anybody in the story they are telling. just like chinua Achebe knows nobody who knows Okonkwo Ebubedike..... 2. Yes, they might have been. There is a Jesus ben ananaias in the work of josephus, whose trial was copied and passed off as the Jesus of Nazereth. 3. Because it's a death cult. human sacrifice belongs to the realm of Lucifer. 4. The Romans persecuted most religion, the only one they recognized was sol Invictus and Mithraism. Constantine was sol Invictus all his life, he was baptized on his deathbed. 5.No, emperor Constantine wanted a single religion for his empire, he ask all the Presbyters to come to Nicaea to fashion out a new religion and they chose Jesus and forged documents to give it some credibility. 6. Hinduism is the oldest religion and it is still in existence today.....last time I checked, Khrisna is a mythical figure...so, Jesus is just a Johny just come... |
bolabizzle:why is Jesus not mentioned in history text books? stay on point. |
bolabizzle:my question is why is Jesus not mentioned in academic history books..... why?? |
MaxInDHouse:why is Jesus not mentioned in academic history books....you are quitting Mathew 7 for me.... don't derail...please. |
o MaxInDHouse:opinion and emotions... I want facts.... |
bolabizzle:I would really like to hear what you got on him, I am waiting. |
The creator is responsible for both good and evil, I mean, how else can he be "Almighty"? That portion in Isaiah 45 was written when the Jews where in captivity in Babylon. They were sent there by God to learn about him. Babylon was like USA, today. people go to the US for economic purposes i.e to make money, people went to Babylon in those ancient days for religious and spiritual purposes, it had all the religious and learning centres. The Babylonian had a chief God who was the creator of heaven and earth and the lesser gods (Who the yorubas call orishas and who Jeremiah refers to as the "Sons of God" in the book of Job. if we look at Isaiah 44-47 it is mainly about the supremacy of God. isaiah made it clear that there was no one beside him. he is the only one. he created the world all by himself as a way of assuring the Jews not to be carried away by those worshipping Inanna, Enlil etc. They should know that God is the only one and power in the universe, if he says A no one can change it to B. he is sovereign over all his creation. He creates and he destroys. There is no separate God for good and evil. there is only one God that is responsible for both good and evil, nothing happens with your his okay. God is ONE. whatever happens whether good or evil, happens because it is his WILL. |
There is no evidence that Jesus actually lived, so what would a real historian write about him? It would be like writing a “history” of King Arthur or Robin Hood, about whom nothing is known but their names and some far-fetched legends. Was the magical sword in the stone historical, or the bible’s “virgin birth”? A serious historian would know there is no real evidence that Jesus existed. Just hearsay. All that we have is a “big fish” story in which a minnow became a whale. How did that happen? It happened because the gospels are fairytale book with: A virgin birth walking on water A ludicrous ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE and so on… As with other books of ancient mythology, we can’t assume actual events are being depicted. Thus, we have to seek confirmation outside the bible. But no one who lived at the time Jesus allegedly lived wrote a single word about him. The earliest extra-biblical mention we have of Jesus is an implausible blurb in the histories of Josephus, written long after the fact, if there are any facts. Furthermore, 92.4% of scholars who expressed opinions deemed the blurb a christian forgery, either largely or entirely. The next mention was by the Roman historian Tacitus, a century after the fact, and he got Pilate’s job title wrong, strongly suggesting that he was quoting what he had heard Roman christians say. And hearsay is not evidence. Thus there is no actual evidence that Jesus existed, or any of his apostles. An honest historian would conclude that he couldn’t write a history of Jesus, only conjecture. |
African traditional religion has no equivalent of Satan in the Christian ideology. it is more similar to the Judaism. Satan is not a dual opposite of God, but in Christianity it is almost. The Christian see Satan as having his own kingdom and will outside of the will of God, which I find insulting. Satan, I think, but not too sure would be obatala, I know Lucifer is ósun, and there is no equivalent of the devil. he is not Êsu. |
Kingsnairaland:be believing there...... when the time comes, your eyes will be open. till them, continue enjoying the delusion. |
There is actually nothing to be passionate about in the gospels, Many people find the two stories of Jesus' conception and early life hard to believe because they involve a deity inseminating a human woman, just as numerous other Greek and Roman heroes conceived by a deity inseminating a human woman. You would think that the evangelists could at least come up with something original! Perhaps they did try to be original, but this only resulted in the two stories being so completely different that, on any account, at least one of them has to be a complete fiction. Then, we consider the history of the two gospels. Matthew’s Gospel was substantially based on Mark’s Gospel, which means it could scarcely have been written before about 80 CE, almost a century after the death of King Herod, yet we are told intimate details about Mary and Joseph, even including what they were thinking at the time and the dreams that Joseph experienced. Luke’s Gospel was written even later and, once again, we are told intimate details about Mary and Joseph, even including what they were thinking at the time. No wonder that so many people find the stories of Jesus' conception and early life hard to believe. Other people accept the stories as fact because of religious faith. They believe the two stories can somehow be harmonised, even if they are not sure how, and are therefore both true. |
Kingsnairaland:what does God need a son for? if it is a man like you or me, I will agree, but God?? what does he need a son for, so that he can send him to earth for us to kill him?? does that make any sense?? there is no where God ever said he had a son(apart from Jacob/Israel) that he would send as a human sacrifice..no where. I know you so much want Jesus to be real, because you have wasted your resources and life on it. but my friend I was in your shoes, till my eyes were opened. .. |
Kingsnairaland:He was created by the Roman/Greeks. There is no evidence for Jesus in history. God was already forgiving sin before the Romans created him. there is no need for him. God hates human sacrifice, so Jesus can't be from God. it is simple. Follow God's commandments and live a righteous life. when we die, our spirit returns to God and those alive just buries the body after some ceremonies. see Ecclesiastes 12:7. |
Kingsnairaland:I guess you are new to religion and spirituality. No, no No, man is not a trinity. body + spirit= soul. when the spirit enters the body it becomes a soul, a living soul. when it's numbers are up, the spirit returns to God who gave it and the body is buried for it to return to dust. There never was any need for Jesus. The Romans/Greeks created him to control the masses and deceive them into believing in false hope. God already gave the Jews a solution to the problem of sin, and it does not involve human sacrifice , confess and forsake I will forgive see 2nd chronicles 7:14. Jesus is just a myth. |
Arda1000:ok, when you are reading a literature text, and you come across passage that says and Jake finally kicked the bucket........you eyes sees "jake kicked the bucket" but what does your mind eyes sees? That Jake died....... that's what I mean. |
Arda1000:my minds eye....everybody has one ....I wonder why you don't? |
