Heaven is already within you.... Look within, you will find it.. |
MrPresident1:Well, I don't need him as long as I follow my creator I am ok. He has the final say. So if Jesus is real or not, not my business. He is useless to me. I just obey my creator and whatever happens after I die ..I just trust him. I don't need your Jesus or his threat. Don't fear me or mean anything to me. He can shove his gift in his ass. I don't care... |
Man incurred death when he ate from the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil. He was told not to eat from it. What is death? It is just a return to default setting. From Dust you where made..to dust you shall return. Nothing more. The body becomes one with the earth while the spirit or God's breath becomes one with God. No judgement after death....Man has already been judged. (As stated above) We are each the same God's spirit experiencing human life in multiple ways. Just enjoy the experience....nothing more. Any body saying any other thing wants to steal your money or fvck your girlfriend/wife. |
MrPresident1:Well, not the same God. Mine is the creator of heaven and earth who clearly said "thou shall not have any other God before me" Do you understand what that means or should I draw you a picture? |
Each year, numerous missionary churches and Messianic congregations hijack the holiday of Passover by claiming that it proclaims a Christian message. The Christian bible compares Jesus to the Paschal lamb (John 1:29) and insists that he died as a sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world (I Cor. 15:3, I John 2:2). In truth, this deceptive spin totally distorts the actual meaning of Passover. The exodus of the children of Israel from their long bondage in Egypt 3300 years ago was preceded by ten awesome plagues that God visited upon our oppressors. The last of these plagues was the slaying of the Egyptian first born. God instructed the Israelites to place the blood of a lamb on their doorposts and lintels of their houses. The Angel of Death passed over the houses marked in this way as it went about smiting the Egyptian first born. The Passover lamb became a yearly sacrifice eaten on the first night of the holiday to commemorate this event. It was not sacrificed to atone for anyone’s sins and only served to spare the Jewish first born. If Jesus’ death was supposed to have been an atoning sacrifice, it would have been more appropriate to liken him to the special goat that was offered on Yom Kippur – the national Day of Atonement (Leviticus 16). Missionaries often try to connect Jesus to the Passover lamb because unlike other victims of crucifixion, his legs were not broken (John 19:33). In the laws of the Passover sacrifice, the Torah prohibited breaking any of its bones (Exodus 12:46, Numbers 9:12). However, it is a cynical farce to arbitrarily seize upon only one requirement of the Passover sacrifice and show a parallel to the death of Jesus while ignoring all the laws that don’t fit. For example, the Bible prohibited sacrificing any animal that was maimed or blemished in any way (Leviticus 22:19-22, Deuteronomy 17:1). However, prior to being crucified, Jesus was beaten and scourged (Matthew 27:26, Mark 15:15-19) which would render him unfit to be a sacrifice. In addition, he was circumcised in the flesh (Luke 2:21), which according to Philippians 3:2 is considered to be a form of mutilation. As well, the Passover sacrifice most certainly could not have been a human being! The Bible strongly condemns and forbids human sacrifice over a dozen times. The actual meaning and significance of the Passover lamb is, in fact, a total repudiation of Christianity. Four days prior to the Exodus, the children of Israel were instructed to set aside a lamb that they would eat on the evening prior to leaving Egypt (Exodus 12:3-6). This was a tremendously risky act of defiance because the Egyptians worshiped the lamb (Exodus 8:22 / 8:26 in a non-Jewish Bible). The slaughtering of the Paschal lamb was a dramatic renunciation of idolatry. It was a statement that the people inside those houses worshiped God alone. The blood on their doorposts was a brave protest against the prevailing beliefs and a forceful rejection of the worship of any created being. Our Passover today continues to serve as a rejection of the deification of any human being. |
MrPresident1:I don't do idolatry.... I worship only my creator and follow his laws and commandments. Jesus(if he existed at all) is an insult against the most high. See where you even they self. You have not even found the narrow road.. Funny guy. |
Gabrielshow24:Your ear go explode....one step at a time... If you take two at a time....you can stumble and fall. Just keep steady. In dew time. |
MrPresident1:See this new be. Road wey I don pass like 15 years ago.... You are just discovering it and you think you have arrived. Walk the path let me see you. |
It is like saying the capital of Nigeria is Abuja, but the seat of power is Aso rock. Jerusalem was the town that housed the temple of God. There was a physical temple in Jerusalem.... There is also the other temple which is us... As above so below As within so without.... |
Gabrielshow24:Me... Of course |
shinaola21:But you follow a religion based on human sacrifice because it is foreign? It is just ignorance that is worrying most of us. It is about making the right choice. |
immaculatesense:Thanks |
shinaola21:We never worshipped idols. You have been listening to people lying to you. We worshipped the creator of the universe. |
My own suggestion is we do away with the two religions. They have bought pain and misery to us. We should go back to our roots and heritage. The same problem with Christianity is also the same problem with Islam. That is the figure at the centre of them. I am yet to get a convincing explanation for the absence of historical collaboration of their respective texts. Till then, I am proudly an African. |
EmperorIsaac:Islam was created by people who were not comfortable with the Trinity doctrine. The just added their Arab torch...and voila, a new religion was born.. |
Gabrielshow24:No..not at all. Angels with a message from God. |
immaculatesense:The high priest is the one who goes into the holy of holies to perform the animal sacrifice to God in the place God appointed for it. So how can one person be both the high priest and the sacrificial lamb at the same time. Somebody is definitely lying...and I know who. |
Gabrielshow24:Yes.... |
Gabrielshow24:It is the knowledge your pastors don't want you to know. They will discourage you.... But I was the stubborn one. I had to find out the truth and test it. Now it is staying with me. I don't do beliefs anymore....I deal with the undiluted knowledge of my creator and the cosmos... |
So which is it? Is Jesus the high priest or The sacrificial lamb? |
Zaheertyler:Occult knowledge. |
MaxInDHouse:Person wey no exist at all.... Don't burst any blood vessel oh.. |
Earthkumy:It was talking about faith.. What God desires is the knowledge of him..not faith. |
Like I always say here, if you like learn, if you like don't.... The Torah was written when the isrealites returned home from the Babylonian exile by a group of priest led by Ezra. The creation of the universe and the subsequent introduction of death are all a summary of the creation of the universe by Marduk. The Adam and Eve story is an adaptation or a recast of the Adapa story. It just tells how man lost the chance of immortality. The spirit is immortal but man is not. The spirit is the same image and likeness as God, while the body is same image and likeness as the earth. Man is made up of dust of the earth and the breath (spirit) of God. When Adam(man) ate the fruit he brought death on himself. Just as God defined it...Body returns to earth and spirit return to God. (See Ecclesiastics 12:7) Nothing more. When a spirit "dies" it means it is coming into the physical world. And vice versa .... Life is a circle....not a straight line. Death is just a point on it. |
Gabrielshow24:To deceive you....and you are falling for it. |
Religion is about beliefs and faith... Spirituality is about knowledge..... |
Truthseeker10:Well captured... |
lawani:I don't too. Religion is from the root Latin word "Religare" which means to bind fast.....(Ie bind your mind fast) According to st Augustine. |
lawani:I have read through your comment. Let me make some few corrections. 1. It was the worshippers of serapis that were called Christians. I really don't know if there was any group of Jews called Nazarenes. There was no Nazareth in the first or second century. But there were nazarites, who were those that kept long hairs. 2. The worship of serapis originated from Egypt and spread to almost all part of the Roman empire. It was when emperor Constantine wanted a single religion for the empire that the presbyters at Nicaea had a choice between Christianity and Mithriaism. They voted to go with Christianity. They then tooshed it up and called it the Catholic Church 3. The Jewish Messiah the prophet wrote about is a man like me and you who would be descended from David through Solomon his son. The two contradictory genealogies in Mathew and Luke, can not produce a Messiah.. His job was to usher in an era of peace and end oppression. Jesus did not fulfill it. (If he existed) 4. Was it Paul that created Christianity? I have a topic on that...look it up.

I opened a thread here titled "the letter killeth" In my comments, I said the scripture where never meant to be taken at face value. The Bible does not mean what it says, it says what it means. God is not a judgemental or blood thirsty entity. Like most people make it out to be. God simple refers to our higher consciousness. One epistle in the new testament actually put it in the right perspective "the purpose of life is to become like God's it means we have to over come our ego. That is the only way to become like God. That is what the battles in the Tanakh means. They are not literal. The Amalekites represents "Doubt" you must totally kill all of them.. it is not and easy battle, but with determination you can win. We will all win this war. You must learn to trust . |
Many Nigerians are religious with zero knowledge of God/higher consciousness. Your beliefs don't make you righteous but your actions do. If you like believe that the moon is made of cheese or that a woman became pregnant without the input of a fertile man. It does not make you a good person. It only means you would believe anything no matter how absurd. What makes you good or bad is the actions and choices you make. That was why the laws were given as a guidance and as a lamp for our journey. God has placed both good and evil in front of us, it is now left for us to make a choice and live with it or learn from it. Like I said earlier, the whole purpose is experience..... So whether one Jesus died or 20 million Jesuses died, it does not have any benefit to you. Every one of us will die..it is God's judgement for man. It is your journey and life, there are no "get out of jail card"..you can either take responsibility for your life and make it worthwhile or join people every Sunday to shout "I receive" Your choice. |
They are only two religions on earth.. Christianity and Islam. The rest are cultural spirituality. Which is not forced but experienced. It does not tell you what to believe, but allows you to experience and make your own judgement...and decisions. That is what the Torah was supposed to do for the isrealites...before the Christians added their religion at the end of it It is about our higher self/consciousness against our ego. The battles are within. It is always about the two brothers Enki/Jacob/Osirus and Enlil/Esau/Set....and their equivalent names in different cultures. Nothing more. |
