A 36-year-old lady identified as Stella Gilbert, collapsed, today, after Justice Raliat Adebiyi sentenced her to death for stabbing her neighbor, Stella Godwin, to death during a fracas in Ajegunle.

She was found guilty on one count charge of murder brought against her by the Lagos State government. Gilbert had stabbed Godwin, a mother-of-three, to death with a knife, during an argument on June 22, 2013

People have said it was to conduct an autopsy but you only conduct autopsy to discover/determine cause of death when this is unknown or uncertain.. In his case, the police admitted they shot him so the cause of his death was known! It doesn't add up...

1 Nigerian fraudster killed, 7 arrested during a police raid in Philippines

A Nigerian man was, yesterday, shot dead while 7 others were arrested when police raided an alleged online ‘love scam’ den in Imus, Cavite.

The arrested suspects are identified as Kenneth Chukwu, Ikenna Dickson Okalla, Chukwuma George Adibe, Chiboy Stanley Agbasi, Dim Remedios, Abas Kashmir and Uba Living.

The suspect killed has been identified as Orisakwe Ifeanyi Emmanuel. The
National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) anti-cybercrime agents, armed with a court search warrant, swooped on the suspects’ hideout.

The NBI’s report says that during the raid, the now-dead suspect grabbed a pistol and attempted to shoot at officers. .

After being subdued, the official account says, he then tried to grab a hand grenade, prompting the agents to fire at him. As President Buhari prepared to visit Lagos tomorrow, 24th April 2019, the State has issued out guidelines for a free flow of traffic.

The one-day visit will see the president Buhari commission a number of state projects including the rehabilitated 10-lane Oshodi – Muritala Muhammed International Airport Road; the 170-Bed ‘Ayinke House’ (Maternity Hospital)) at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) Ikeja; the Lagos State Theatre at Oregun, Ikeja; new 820 Mass Transit Buses and the multi-level Oshodi Transport Interchange along the Apapa-Oshodi Expressway.

The State Ministry of Transportation has thereby notified members of the public, especially motorists, about traffic diversion on some major roads.

A statement released shows that the Presidential visit will hold between the hours of 9.00am and 3.00pm. During this period, traffic along the following routes shall be diverted:

Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way (coming from the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed Airport to LASUTH Under Bridge), Kodesoh Road, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Kudirat Abiola Way, Ikorodu Road (between Ojota Intersection and Anthony Interchange), Oworonshoki-Apapa Expressway (between Anthony and Oshodi Transport Interchange), International Airport Road through the Local Wing of the airport to Mobolaji Bank-Anthony Way and back to Obafemi Awolowo Way.

Roads highlighted above shall only be cordoned-off when necessary. Obafemi Awolowo Way and portions of Mobolaji Bank-Anthony shall be closed to traffic because they are central to the President’s itinerary.

You do not understand my earlier post... that defence mechanisms highlighted earlier have been put in place which true Christians are not taking advantage of. God created all mankind so he is not going to kill the sinner as a first resort. He wants sinners to repent and not to die. That's what the bible says and that's the nature of a God who loves his creatures. It behoves the believer to defend himself during the great conflict using the tools and spiritual weapons divinely provided and to develop himself spiritually to be able to hear God's warning about impending attacks by the enemy..

There is a war going on between light and darkness and in all wars there are casualties. Christians need to develop themselves spiritually to hear from God so they can hear divine fore-warnings of attacks and counter attacks by the forces of darkness. The bible says be vigilant, also put on the armour of God and arm ourselves with spiritual weapons. We are also told to have discernment and not be ignorant of the devices of the kingdom of darkness (and their spiritual and human soldiers). These spiritual military intelligence strategies and tools are meant to be developed. God speaks and warns us of impending attacks but we are spiritually deaf. Ultimately though, on that great day of wrath which is to come, all soldiers of darkness and their C-in-C shall experience the fiery rage of the thrice holy God and his Christ and they shall have nowhere to hide on the day of divine judgement. The battle of Armageddon cometh!

You are so hateful of christians, it is affecting your objectivity. There is freedom of worship as guaranteed by the constitution and universal human rights. Anyone can worship anything or anyone. Followers of each faith however also have the right to propagate their religion and seek to win converts. The truth is that everyone believes his religion is the only way to God and it is the right of people to believe so. Preach your religion to others but never force people to convert. Project your religion as supreme to others but never coerce others to convert to your religion. If you have a problem with christians saying JESUS is the only way to God, deal with it! if you don't believe in finding the way to God and loving God with all your heart and seeking to tell people about the love of God and leading them to God, it is your choice. Don't condemn others who choose to be God-lovers!
