This is one of my most loved hymn. It's so deep. I have always known stanzas 1, 2, 3 and 5; didn't know stanza 4. Thanks for sharing. Have a blessed Sunday. |
Drphemmy4u:I totally disagree with you. So if you have a G3P2+0 woman with a singleton frank breach presentation at term, no previous CS and EFW of say 2.8 to 3 kg you will Ceaser her? Adequate counselling, proper selection of parturient and skilled intrapartum care still remains best practice. Infact External cephalic version can still be offered to patients with no contraindication and should be carried out by a skilled personnel under close monitoring. See 2017 RCOG guidelines |
The Pastor was scammed. I believe in God, I believe in miracles. But a 7-year pregnancy is not only medically impossible but completely absurd. |
My own question is why is football even played?... 22 grown up men running around the field kicking a round object. What's entertaining about that? It makes no meaning. It makes no sense. |
Another challenge is late presentation. Nigerians try all sorts of options and when the condition becomes terminal they expect magic from a paralyzed health care system. And then many doctors and nurses are working in these impossible conditions saving lives daily, unfortunately these stories are not told. |
The emergency room in most of our so called 'big hospitals' lack very basic equipment like monitors, defibrillator or oxygen. Sometimes there are no decent couches for patients to lie on or working trollies to even move patients. Getting urgent laboratory and radiologic investigations done to manage patients appropriately is another headache. Too many patients inadequate manpower, very long working hours... the list is endless |
Rest in peace Oluwaseun Ezekiel. There are always two sides of a story. The health care system in this country is woeful. The working condition is almost hellish. The problem is the doctor takes the blame for everything... He takes the blame for going on strike as the last resort to compel an insensitive Government to provide a working system; he takes the blame when things go wrong because the system is not working. |
This one still better na. During NYSC I served in a village where English is taught in Yoruba in Secondary schools. |
...And you brought the issue to Nairaland. Shame on you. |
Boy's intestine comes out of his stomach ![]() Where is my anatomy textbook bikonu? |
I'm still in shock. Ehido was a great friend, a perfect gentleman, a classmate, a colleague, and a refined anaesthetist. It's so sad that his life was cut short at it's prime. May God comfort his family and may his soul rest in peace. |
Get well soon. I look forward to the day when every Nigerian will have access to the best medical care. So many die from traumatic brain injury daily due to lack of affordable, accessible and efficient medical care. |
Weldone Corper. Serving fatherland under the rain and in the sun. |
Nothing in particular. Watching Emmanuel TV or Dove TV |
JAMB mock. |
The leaders are greedy, selfish and corrupt; the people are angry, hateful and negative...how did so much darkness get concentrated in one country? |
cummando:He had chemotherapy not radiotherapy. Chemotherapy are drugs that kill fast growing cells like cancer cells. They do not emit radiation. Maybe he would love to trade places with your gateman to be healthy again (or maybe not) but I don't think that's a kind thing to say. I see patients with cancer everyday. It's a terrible thing. It changes everything. May God keep us from this plague. |
It really not about being average. The question is can you read? Can you read and re read and re read again. Can you read when you are tired, read when you are hungry and when you are eating? Can you read when you feel like reading and when you don't feel like reading? Can you read till you bumbum aches and then you have to stand up and read till your legs ache and your bumbum feels better and then go back to sitting till your bumbum begins to ache again... Can you read while you are reading...and yet you still have soooo much to cover. If yes then by all means you are welcome to the club. |
The foundation of truth, Laid by our Christ, Which the Praying Father grace, Let it ever be known, That on the righteous rock He will ever remain with us. Cherubim rejoice, Seraphim Rejoice, Our foundation is on the rock of ages |
Your friends are on Nairaland. They have read this post and they are coming for you. LWKMD.... This is super story.... |
innop221:The question is "who shouldn't go into politics?" He scored highest, meaning he is least fit to go into politics. |
The nostalgic feeling Funmi's songs stir up is so intense. They still gives me goose bumps. Blessings on all you guys making efforts to locate her. |
orimahspence:Overflogged? You take too much for granted sir. May you not know the pain of raising an SS child and losing the child at the prime of life. |
So this news don reach nairaland. That Becky needs psychiatric evaluation. |
Folks think they have a passion for medicine. Then they finally get in and they are like... "who send me sef...?" "if say them advice me well..." "if say I know". Medicine and Surgery...is not what you think ooo... to be forewarned.... |
Success indeed has many brothers. |
RIP to an icon. Any primary school pupil that did not read 'Eze goes to school' is that one a pupil? |
That's an open fracture that has been poorly treated by traditional bone setters. It's already showing features of infection. OP pls if you know this man tell him to present himself to an orthopedic surgeon or else he may eventually lose that foot. |
1.2m for a new SUV ? You need to know exactly what you want. You are not being modest or even realistic. I fear you might end up buying a car you would regret paying your hard earned money for. |
Burst tyres claiming lives everyday on our highways.... So sad. May God grant the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear the loss. |
This man should immediately be taken from that hospital to a tertiary center where they have a burns unit like UBTH. Based on the degree of injury sustained, he stands little chance of survival. Wrong management spotted already. The dressing over the body is so unbelievable and facial dressing should not be occlusive. Looks like they are packaging the man for the mortician. |
