go sista go sista, i will fail nicely well and am sure she will too(if she isnt already).though we are nt too far apart we seldom see(seen her last in 3mths now)but we talk a lot on fone.she tells me everytime she is feelin bored and lonely and when a babe does that often fill in d gap.i try as much as i can to make out time to see her but she isnt willin to sacrifice time cos of school or church or she doesnt just wanna go out and i dont wanna be like a judas or a spanner in aher wheel of prog or a piss off if she doesnt wanna go out.

Just as chukvyl pointed out, i quite agree with him, am in the I.T industry also and the best way to get in is by system administration/support. From there you can climb to any heights. If you can start with support then you would need stuffs like MSCE added with CCNA, from there you most likely would get into the job force and be able to afford the rest also you would get the exposure needed.
After this you could start considering the high end Certifications where the big bucks are: SAP, CCIE, AVAYA, RF (Radio frequency). But you have to get in somewhere to start basicly. Thats what i did, and it worked for me!! Am where i want to be right now.
Also this is just my opinion, might not be a professional advice. Good luck and welcome onboard.

yeah.it is cool.marketable and te training isnt expensive.check torque technologies 41 adelabu street surulere lagos if u r in lagos.once u take d trainin(u will get a very good one here plus practicals thought by on field engrs)

feel ya pains cos sorta in ya shoes.i think IT cert is one way out.MCSE,CCNA and co,ORACLE etc.if u can pick one of these stuffs to start with as in get the training,do the exam and find where u can work with it irrespective of the pay so u can get hands on exp. and from thetre u will connect pple and move higher up in the cert ladder.this wil help.i sure feel ur pains cos these days the comp is so high.lift up and dont get moody
