Strangest lawsuit ever?
Tue Apr 21 01:28PM

I see a lot of strange news stories in this job and this one, which was featured recently in a German newspaper, is up there with the strangest.

A judge in Stuttgart, Germany, is currently trying to decide on a lawsuit in which a man hired his neighbour to impregnate his wife.

It gets weirder.

Demetrius Soupolos, 29, and his former beauty queen wife, Traute, were very keen to have a child together, but Demetrius was sterile so they began to seek out other possible options.

The option the couple eventually decided on was to hire their neighbour Frank Maus, 34, to impregnate Traute.

Maus, who was already married with two children agreed to do the job for the fee of €2,000. For three evenings a week for the next six months, a total of 72 different times, Maus tried to impregnate Traute.

When his own wife objected, Maus explained that he was "only doing it for the money."

After the unsuccessful six-month period Soupolos insisted that Maus take a medical examination. The doctor concluded that Maus was also sterile, which forced his wife into admitting that their two children did not belong to him.

Soupolos is now suing Maus in an effort to get his money back. Maus' argument is that he did not guarantee conception, only that he would try his hardest.
Romance / Re: Men: Is There Ever A Justifiable Reason To Hit A Woman? by soulamanne(m): 5:04pm On Apr 21, 2009
truly in the real sense of the word "justifiable",there could be a reason only that it is not reasonable cos a man should know that at the end of the day no matter how bad what the woman must ve done u will still be blamed or found guilty for raisin ur hand.women can do really annoyin things but it is better to do a reasonable thing than a justifiable one.how about not sleepin with her.eatin her food, callin her etc.am not married but ve learnt how renderin a woman incommunicado works really good.once my gf gets on my nerves,i cut her off for days and b4 u know it,she is sendin a text sayin i ve abandoned her!that is her way of sayi sori, women are interstin psycho topic!

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: My Embarrassing Interview Situations You Need To Learn From by soulamanne(m): 12:32pm On Mar 15, 2009
i love this thread.ve never really been in a real job interview but i learn a lot from friends who ve been there.

one was at etb and almost got the job but this.he was asked where he would love marketing or operations.he said marketin and the interviewers told him they were disappointed cos he had earlier told them he loved mathematics and they agreed to that cos in his test he got his highest mark in maths.they felt he would choose operations where he would be able to put it in use but he chose marketin.he felt so weak cos that was what he had in mind but an aunt of his who s been on the job for years told him to choose narketin.they said they would get back to him and he is still waitin for them grin

i dont know how true this is but i heard it long ago.someone said a guy was asked if cleaned hs feet with the footmat in front of the office before he entered and he said yes to impress them but the truth is there was no mat infront of the office and he was told loyalty is key and that ende the interview

Computers / Re: CISCO Thread: CISCO Professionals Identify Yourselves by soulamanne(m): 11:53am On Mar 11, 2009
this thread is a bomb!it is like a dream come true.i am just startin to trake my networkin career more seriously cos unlike programmin it is something physical and easy to understand.it has real life analogies and that is why i easily undastand it and love it too.

ok am takin my CCNA trainin and will take my exam very soon.i still ve probs with config esp the commands(thats cos it is like programmin.now u see what i mean!).am goin to repeat the class agaimn thou.i work in a purely ideginous networkin coy (more like learnin than earnin lol).it is still growin.they do fiber optics stuff too so i actually see all these stuffs so it helps my readin.i now know how fiber interfaces cisco gears.there is a cert called CFOT(cert fiber optics tech).it is abt fiber optics so am gonna take that too.

now that i know this thread i shall visit evey time and ask senior colleague in network engineerin questns and am sure ans will come.pls never estitate to help me out with materials dumps etc cos afta my ccna i wanna get hands on then go futher the ladder of networki!

@nateev
u are such a good guy willin to help pple.ok u are in the UK.a guy skywalker posted on the career thread that with his work exp and ccna he got admitted in a UK university to do masters in computer networkin.i plan takin this ROUTE.what is more interstin is that he wasnt asked to do a PGD(he grad with a low grade)just his CCNA and work exp.so i want to know how possible this is as i ve a 3yr plan to take this path.pls kindly let me know which school in the UK will offer this.

pls dont mind my long thread.ASK AND YE SHALL KNOW.and i plan to learn more by askin.thanx bro
