Education / Re: Franka Anyama Undie Gets 10 Admission Letters From 10 Foreign Universities by soulhighman(m): 8:13pm On Apr 22, 2019
DannyDarvay:
There is no big deal with that especially for MSC. Getting admission to UK universities are very easy once you have your qualification because they are steady looking for foreigners that will come and pay the big bucks. If you apply for 20 universities you will still get admission all you do is select the one you are very ok with.
Only for my bsc I applied to six universities and all six universities gave me admission and I opted for the cheapest which was Coventry University.

You just said my mind. She just wasted money on application fees

If you're not claiming any point for that period. It should suffice.

No I just want to use it for skills assessment with vetasses. Will it be enough?

Thanks. Even though it was not my question. The truth is that I came into this thread to ask question number one and I'm glad it has been answered.

Please one other question. Will only my reference letter suffice since I didn't have pay slips during NYSC?

I am in similar shoes, I forgot to add those student agency jobs, It was just after I submitted I remembered, as most were during my masters.
I can neither remember company nor agency name save for 1 popular one.

Well, let's hope it won't matter.

1. You raise a CSE anytime.

2. If you don't remember, don't sweat it.

3. Check IRCC Twitter handle, it appears they are aware of the log in issues.

.

Thanks boss

Good day everyone please I have this very important question to ask.

When is the best time to raise a cse? I am post AOR and Pre-MEP. I just remembered that there is a job I did for one month and few days while as a student in the UK that I forgot to include in my personal history . It was during my masters degree. That period had already been covered automatically with my education when I got to the personal history part so while filling the form, I just concentrated on the dates that haven't been covered yet. That was how I forgot to put that job.

Also, are there people who omittee jobs that they did for one, two, three weeks ? Cos there are a few that I can't remembee their exact periods but it was after studies. Should there be any cause for concern over this?

And please, is it just me that is having issues with login into my application?

Thanks so much for the rating.

It has been on what was formerly known as IP 2 from aor date. My profile did not change a bit, except for biometrics information and medicals passed. No change till last friday (ghost update)

.

Perhaps it is the same thing with what my application is showing since AOR date (only submitted last week though). I had been trying to ask about it but I had been holding back.

It says that my eligibility and background check is being processed. Just wanted to know if it is a normal thing especially since I have not even reached the medical passed stage yet (I know that one takes a month)

Thanks for your response. I understand that and I do have over 10years work experience but not in the NOC I used as primary occupation. But now I have the minimum 1 year required in that NOC, am I allowed to create another profile?

Yes.

Good morning good people. Congrats to Tojued and others who got PPR in this part. How time flies, last time I check was new year day or thereabouts, see how far the pages have gone.

Please I need help, least year I got locked out of my GCkey and was advised to fill a new profile. I did and the result was that I was no longer eligible for express entry.

Now the difference between last year info and this year is that I changed my primary occupation NOC to one I had only been on for about 10months(I was targeting manitoba pnp), so I felt I would wait until it is one year to see if it changes, now it is one year and nothing has changed.

Does this mean I have been banned from the process or can I create another profile and abandons that one? I also want to sit for IELTS again to improve my scores, and was hoping to update once I do, but this profile is not editable.

Please I need advise on what to do and also what avenue can I use to contact did?

You need a minimum of one year work experience to be eligible

Good day everyone. I have been away for a while but I plan to submit my eApr between today and tomorrow so please I would like the seniors to help out with this question just to be sure that I'm doing the right thing.

In personal history, I included all the clubs/societies I did as an undergraduate and Corp member. This includes CDS and departmental association.

Bros, you fill out a form and forget how your name is on your passport. I am hoping guys on higher points would even check out of the pool and favor the lower point guys. If you see what they go through world wide with near misses or nothing after each draw.

This is what the rich and politicians do to the downtrodden. No end in sight. I'm alone. I'm done.

For the sake of not derailing the thread, I will pretend as if I did not see this. So goodbye. But please stay off my mention or anything that has to do with me. I will really appreciate that.

Please don't decline your ITA. I made the same mistake in my form. I had my first name only in the EE form, not until I got ITA before I noticed. When filling the PR form I filled all my names and didnt even write any LOE. See the screenshot I took of my account. I obfuscated the names. You can see the EE has just two names and PR has all my names. My application was processed and I never had any issue

You can attach an LOE explaining it was an omission. But I am very sure all is well, no need to panic.

Thanks. Although I've declined it. I just saw this now on break at work. I didn't want to miss the next one. That's why I took a quick action.

I just checked with a friend who hasn't submitted and it worked. However, the name on the pre-ITA form won't change, so he would need to do an LoE explaining the reason for the difference in names on either form.

cc: soulhighman

Tojued:

Try this: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1003&top=29

If it doesn't work, follow your heart (or head) on whether to decline, write LOE, raise CSE etc.

Thanks a lot. Sadly I declined after reading your initial responses, cos I have to leave home now for work. I was hoping not to miss the next ITA and if I don't decline and make the corrections before leaving home, I won't be chanced to do it by the time the draw is made.

Unfortunately, I was still unable to update my name even after declining. I was already considering withdrawing the application and then do it all over again before I saw mcstan's second post about his friend.

Thanks so much.

Perhaps I will leave it that way since it can't be changed and expect another ITA and then write an LOE.

The lesson I've learnt now is never to procrastinate. I didn't bother to rush the filling of forms since I plan to submit in the third or fourth week of February.

Thanks for the efforts

Hi everyone. Please I am filling my post ITA form now and found out I have made a silly mistake while filling my profile. I filled only my first name in the personal details section and didn't include my middle name instead of writing it exactly as it appears on my passport. Now, I've been trying to correct that, and it appears impossible. My middle name appears in every of my documents.

Should I proceed like that and just add an LOE or decline the ITA.

N:B. My CRS score is 450 and if I get another ITA, I can submit under two weeks or even one week.

Hi all. For people in basic sciences, especially those whose first degree were in microbiology like myself, this might be the answer to your questions regarding bridging programs. I found one for quality assurance. It is a diploma program and I think it could be very useful.
