Point 1: You can't date or have romantic relationships with every woman you come across, part of the red pill has to do with building relationships and boundaries to accompany those relationships.
There are women that will be useful to you in business, school or other places, we have many men thinking with their d1cks and ending ruining a business plug with sexual advances.

Point 2: In some cases a man can be the one keeping the relationship platonic, if he judges that he doesn't need the current relationship to be complicated based in what he gains from her.
A friend had a read mate in school, he told me she helped him a lot academically, and she was giving him green lights, but he knew he would never date her, because if they do they will break up after some times and that will definitely put an end to the current benefits he was getting, he prioritized his academics over pussy in this case.
