Dune (2021)


Wow, wow, wow. I won't say Dune is just a good movie, I feel like the word "good" is not the best to describe how this movie made me feel. Dune is out of this world, it is spectacular. A lot of talent was employed for the making of this film. You can see the mind of the author and it is so clear. They manage to communicate his ideas effectively and oh my, whatever inspired that dude.

A lot of time and hard work was put into this, you'd think those planets are out there somewhere. Is it the setting, dialogue, culture, audio, CGI, everything is on expert level.
The only drawback to this movie would be the plot (expect nothing new). I'm not going to spend time commending the acting, it's a star studded cast so you know what to expect. The director deserves all the accolades, good work.

Wherever the author is, I can only imagine how fulfilled he must be with this film. I don't want to give away any spoilers, just watch the movie if you haven't. This is actually the first part of the film, the second part will be released in 2023. Can't wait!

Wow, I'm impressed. Not your usual zombie story, this is something different and refreshing.

Runaways is a solid 5/10.
There are better shows out there.

This post is just funny from many angles.
As a man, no woman will want to be with you or even look at you twice if you are fat. Unless you have money to make up for your unhealthy look. Then she will roll with you for the mean time because of your money. And her eyes will always be on the look out for a better man. As a man, you have to work out, get fit, work hard and secure the bag before you can bring a woman to reap the benefits.

The worst part is that a fat woman will not even date a fat man. Women have all these standards but as a man, you just have to accept them the way they are. Once you become verbal about the kind of woman you want, you cease to be a real man. If this was a man telling us it takes an extra ordinary or a real woman to date a broke man, you'll see them in the comment section telling him to go and hustle.

If you like allow all this real man talk get to you. Just know that in the end you will bear all the weight. Dear men, you are allowed to have standards too.

how do green lights work? Look at the picture below. That's the summary of it. Then read the caption under the Pic "How you send your son Pic to babydaddy ".

I explained this last time. Let me explain again one more time.

The picture below is a green light. But if you look at the Pic it sends TWO different messages same time:
Message 1) the son in the picture: the message to the guy is "hey daddy, here is your son, see how he's grown!!

That's the surface message,, which the girl sent the picture for,, to show babydaddy his son. That's the "excuse". The pretext. The cover. This is the woman's defense. That picture is about her boy.

Message 2) the ass!! The ass!! The ass!!! That's the invitation. The undercover message. With that ass, the girl is saying to the father of her son, "see this ass? Do you miss it? You used to love it!! Come get it!!"

That's the real message. The actual green light. "come get this ass daddy!!".

Now if someone sees that picture, eg the girl's own parents, she'll say she's showing her man his son. And it will be believable. She doesn't have to explain the ass, as long as the son is there. Without the son the message will be too direct and too incriminating. And someone will legitimately ask: "Why are you sending your babydaddy your ass? Do you want his dicc?"
But she puts the ass AND the boy. The boy covers for the ass.

Babydaddy will instantly focus on the ass! And get the message. And call her.

If babydaddy isn't up for that shit and start confronting the girl about the ass, she'll quickly switch and say that's a pose she did without thinking,, she really wanted to show him the son! And thus the girl's dignity is intact and she doesn't come across as too desperate.


THAT'S THE SAME EXACT WAY WOMEN SEND GREEN LIGHTS to men out there. Women do things that can be seen as "ordinary" if you overthink it or are too slow.

Eg,, a girl can touch you lightly on the arm and ask about your tattoo. Or she can comment on your shirt quality while rubbing the fabric to feel it's quality. Both these are green lights. The girl likes you. But they're also normal things a girl can do to any guy on any given day. It's when a girl does a number of these "normal" things that you can accurately identify a green light.

Let's say you're at varsity,, a girl starts hanging around you, asking for your opinion on issues, complimenting you, asking your advice on things and taking an interest in the same things that interest you (eg same clubs, same sports) - - - that's a green light. The Girl likes you.
Now, do you court her, tell her how you feel or take her out on a date? NONE OF THE ABOVE. ,, just invite her over to your place to hang out. When she comes go take a shower, come back with only a towel around you,, ask her to help you apply lotion on your back where you can't reach - - - then let things play themselves out.

Don't court, don't tell her you love her, just see if you can smash directly. Keep doing such stunts till you smash without ever telling her you love/like/want her. Let her ask for herself after you have smashed.

This is how you deal with girls who choose you. Especially in familiar spaces like school, church etc.

Now, even if 3 girls like you same time. Do this to everyone of them. You'll see how easy pussy is when you're chosen. And it won't be long before you have two girls quarreling over you. It will change your perspective on game and women.

Last Night in Soho 2021

First, let me start by praising the director. I have to say, you don't get to see quality work like this often. The directing is top grade for me and I think it helped the lead actor to play her role perfectly. I'm not trying to say she didn't do a good job, she was good but not great. Overall, all the actors and actresses gave quality performances.

Secondly, the costume is impressive, when she goes back in time (in one of her episodes), you get the feeling. In addition, the music and the dialogue are on point, the way they switch it effectively is worth commending. In general, it's worth watching and you'll like it.

However I think you might have a slight problem with the story.

Warning Spoilers Ahead.

In the movie, we are looking at a patient who clearly exhibits, psychosomatic symptoms (she has a problem differentiating reality from fantasy). It gets worse as the movie progresses and like every other patient, she starts struggling. It begins to affect her behavioral pattern, feelings, you know, her life in general. As someone who has suffered certain symptoms like, forgetfulness, over thinking and maladaptive daydreaming in the past, I could relate to what I was watching, it all felt so real (the movie is that good).

Along the line you think medical help is on the way and everything will be fine in the end. And they hit you with this supernatural bûllshit. They blame her visions on her "haunted apartment" and her visions were actually real occurrences in the past. Towards the end, they burn the house and her visions go away. Just like that. Whoever wrote this story did not think this was a medical condition at some point. They did not think she needed that kind of help.

There's even a scary scene in the end where she looks in the mirror, sees a reflection of someone else and taps the mirror in excitement. It was as though she got accustomed to it. Um, if you look in the mirror and smile at someone else's reflection, you definitely need help. It was good to see her excel in her career though.

Inconsistent CGI, Wack cosplay costumes and shaky story (plotholes). So this is the movie many people were saying it's different from usual MCU fair. The fvvk.
This movie is exactly MCU formula. I don't see any difference apart from the gay kiss scene.
Chloe Zhao just hype nonsense after collecting Oscar.

One major plothole: how on earth there is no ocean surge, volcanic eruption, massive earthquake and tectonic plates shift with Tiamut's emergence. His sheer size with head and fingers would have left a massive crack in the earth's core.

Makkari was my favourite character and I enjoyed her fight scene with Ikaris.
I liked Arishem and the Celestials look. They had the best CGI design. Those were the best moments.

Sadly this is the first MCU ensemble movie that was trashy. It was very average and forgettable.

Brilliant acting from everyone. That Jonah Hill imitating Trump's COS na cruise and craze Walahi. This movie is a brazen mockery of Trump, his administration and their handling of Covid.
Loved the dark comedy.


One thing I don't agree with the movie tho:
Russia and China are perfectly capable of launching missiles into space shooting down spatial debris and the likes. One space launch station being destroyed means nothing as there are several similar stations littered across the Republic, both publicly known and secret silos. Same as EU (France & Germany).

It's funny how the two countries with the most advanced missile technology (Russia & China) are solely dependent on a US program. A country they're far ahead of in terms of ICBMs.

I completely agree with you, there is no way other developed countries who could be ahead of the United States in terms of technology would wait on them to do the needful when the fate of the entire world is at stake. That part and the way the media was portrayed was erroneous. In reality the media (especially the news) won't dare sugar coat such information. They would do the exact opposite.

We can always use the Corona virus as example. We got to experience this firsthand. Personally, I think those are the flaws the movie had. But it makes up for them in every other aspect. The acting is top notch, dialogue is fun and the comedy lands. The message was clear and they achieved their goal. The negative reviews are proof of the message the movie was trying to propagate. Thumbs up to the director!

What is this?

Where do I even start? The story makes no sense. These guys were on earth for how long? And they were preserving human life for Arishem's glorious emergence. Somehow they skipped thanos who wiped out half the human population (unless they considered thanos human to human conflict ). There is a twist but it's useless. Dude has a good plan, actually does some damage but in the end he couldn't stop them because "love".

If Arishem wanted the emergence so bad why didn't he just make other Eternals and send them to earth to defeat the good ones get the job done. The acting is average except for Ikaris, he was just painful to watch. The fight scenes feel like something that was recorded from a video game. The last time I saw fights so fake was in a DC movie. You can't impress me with Shang Chi and then give me this. My expectations were high.

I don't know if the normal line of action would be to abort the baby. Maybe they were expecting her to abort but she proved herself to be an exceptional woman by becoming a mother. Your children will see this portrayal on TV, school, the society at large. And when they come back home it's as though daddy's job is just to leave money on the table.

He doesn't really care about your well being, mother is the one who really nutures you, mother is the one who will be around if they need someone to confide in, it's mothers delicious food they will enjoy, etc. How will they understand that father cannot tick all the boxes simultaneously. If not for adult hood and the red pill, most of us were like these children we are describing. It is something that is waiting for every man, you just have to accept it.

I don't think that's a good idea. Two wrongs cannot make a right. And the man in question is a father.

Two parents engaging in physical, mental or emotional abuse under the same roof where children live will scar those children for life. The best thing to do is to dissolve the marriage. An abusive wife poses danger to you and your kids anyway, so you are doing everyone else a favor. You can't always fight back in every situation, sometimes you walk away.
