I'm not disagreeing with you on the nature of the problem. But it is clear those who are being cheated do not have any serious desire to secede.

Secession is so easy to achieve in reality. If you are truly sure, that Igbos want to create a new country, then it can be achieved without shedding any blood.

1. Igbos (and any other group that wants to leave) in the government at all levels, from the National Assembly to governors, should adopt the same position of desiring a country of their own. Be unified and consistent as to your demand to leave.

2. Igbos should relocate back to the south-east en masse along with their investments

With just these two steps, the Federal government will know you are serious and at the very least, they will begin to negotiate with you.

This your statement shows that you are jealous of the Igbos progress in your region or state,

Referendum is like election, when it is conducted, then the Igbos can now move to their region,

Meanwhile is not every state that wants the Igbos to leave, e.g the south south, middle belt and some christian northerners,

The National Assembly has a strict formulation that awards seats based on States and Constituencies. Every region is represented. Besides, who are you expecting to review the Constitution? You don't know that Constitutional amendments fall within the purview of the National Assembly?

The simple reality is that if you want a referrendum the way to get it is through the National Assembly. If you are waiting for the President to do it for you, just know that even Peter Obi would never do so.
