Close the door, lay down upon the floor
And by candlelight, make love to me through the night
(through the night, through the night...)
Cause I have run away
I have run away, yeah..., yeah
I have run away, run away
I have run away with you
Cause I am falling in love (falling in love) with you
No never I'm never gonna stop
Falling in love with you...
With you

Who are you now?
Are you still the same
Or did you change somehow?
What do you do?
At this very moment
When I think of you
And when I'm looking back
How we were young and stupid
Do you remember that?
No matter how I fight it, can't deny it
Just can't let you go

I still neeeeeeeed you
I still caaaaaaare about you
Though everything's been said and done
I still feeeeeeel you
like I'm riiiiight beside you
But still no word from you

Now look at me
Instead of moving on
I refuse to see
That I keep coming back
Yeah, I'm stuck in a moment
That wasn't meant to last
I've tried to fight it, can't deny it
You don't even know that

I still neeeeeeeed you
I still caaaaaaare about you
Though everything's been said and done
I still feeeeeeel you
like I'm right beside you
But still no word from you

cool

ToyinDipo: I can't quite remember again, and I'm not good at digging. But did you ever go toe-to-toe with Safarigirl? If yes, I would like to see the playback, lol.
Well, SafariGirl and I never fought per se, but we did disagree on a lot of things.

The most notable was the weekend Elikem won his final HOH award, earning himself a spot in the finals.

It didn't go down well with SafariGirl and she kept trying to guilt-trip people for it, because it had ensured the Ghana vote was out of Melvin's reach.

Personally, I like to be brutally straightforward with people, and I felt it was really unfair on Elikem for people to wish for his eviction just to favour a guy who did absolutely nothing for the viewers.
I felt Elikem had really paid his dues, and had done his part to entertain the viewers in the best way he knew, as opposed to Melvin who didn't do a thing. Elikem sold himself, his craft and his brand, while Melvin just did absolutely nothing.

So, I bluntly told her what I felt:

Ochongonoko was there too.

ToyinDipo: I never did, but seriously there was a time I was wishing they would go toe-to-toe with each other. There was a day they almost clashed, I was like prayer answered. But they just managed to avoid each other. Lol.
Huh? When was that kwa?

You mean that day I implied Elikem was a more deserving housemate than Melvin? grin
The day me and SafariGirl bin dey define "Spontaneous" to each other? grin

No, there was no problem oh. Not as far as I can remember.

njokusboy: I think dats a nice compliment.. It means it touches the heart.. That shouldn't deter you..
I suppose. Edgar Allen Poe really did a number on me, though. I can never hold a pen without thinking of doing something similar to The Pit And The Pendulum.

Polyphonic Spree's song is purely influenced by Johann Pachelbel's classical masterpiece, "Canon In D", which also happens to be my favorite base melody of all time.

Hehehe. I did do that for a while, although my test audience often complains the poems are too dark and depressing. I do revisit my pen from time to time, though smiley

ToyinDipo: Just hearing of the album for the first time, did some search, it was made by one Robbie Williams.
That's one of the best songs of 2006, dude! Well, my taste in music tells me so

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl3CGQP1gFQ

It was a tribute to Elvis Presley.

There's no earthly way of knowing
What was in your heart
When it stopped going
The whole world shook
A storm was blowing through you

Waiting for God to stop this
And up to your neck in darkness
Everyone around you was corrupted
Saying something

There's no dignity in death
To sell the world your last breath
They're still fighting over
Everything you left off

I saw you standing at the gates
When Marlon Brando passed away
You had that look upon your face
Advertising space
And...
No one learned from your mistakes
We let our profits go to waste
All that's left in any case
Is Advertising space oooh

Nostalgiaaaaa.

It's been exactly 7 years since I got the album, and it's been exactly 7 years since it was released. I was in my SS3 at the time.

Intensive Care remains one of my favorite albums of all time.

Cheers to good music.

Our boys are tired.

Like someone said before, they expend all their energy meant for 2 matches, on just one match, losing steam as the tournament progresses.

I could go back and paste the ish he had with @Mariarocks(m), @ochon(m), and countless males but I think its not in my place to do such a thing. But serously mehn, you failed to grasp the sacarsm in my post, especially when I striked out lady and replaced it with women.
Must have flown over my head. I tend to find it difficult to concentrate when playing Call of Duty and pausing it every now and then to post on Nairaland.

Obrafour: @Spade soiled his record 0n this Thread when he engaged @Brefo2 on a dissing marathon. I don't like it when men trade banter with ladies women.
Sorry to rain on your parade bro, but I do not pander to such ideals where the internet is involved. It's even laughable to do so.
When making a post or addressing a poster, I do it purely on the degree of common sense showcased by that poster without stopping over to check whether a handle has an M or an F to it, as anybody can assign whatever gender they like on the internet.
So, if it's wisdom I see, I praise it for its wisdom. If it's sttupidity I tell it exactly where to jump off, regardless of gender.
Wisdom and sttupidity know no gender, so I address everyone equally, and that's how it should be.

A fine example is this reply I gave Sholay2011 when he tried to be a condescending knucklehead:

spade: Sholay2011, or Shallow2011... Here's a nice PROTIP: The next time you're going to make a half-assed riposte aimed at me, at least grow a pair and properly direct it at me. Don't quote Amaechi and then insert your jabberwocky. That just reeks of cowardice and chronic stuppidiity on so many levels... No offence of course.

Now that we have that out of the way, I'm really doing my best here to hold back my laughter at what your write up smacks of.

First you suggest I switch to Africa Magic Hausa if I don't like what I see on my TV? Well, need I also remind you that you are not paid salary to post and address posts on Nairaland? Please, use the scroll bar at the right hand of your browser screen the next time you encounter a post that doesn't lick the asss of your favorite housemate or pander to your prepubescent tastes. It's not that hard, dear brother.

And even judging from your past antics on this very thread with how you quickly jump on people's cases without even fully comprhending their posts (like with Mariarocks last night even when she was joking), I can conclude you 1) Lack comprehension on a general scale, 2) Have no sense of humor, and 3) Take yourself too seriously even when the rest of the human race couldn't care less; so with that, I'm willing to excuse this sad diatribe of yours.

You're quick to jump on people who don't like Dillish, suggesting they're not forced to watch. But let me ask you... Are you forced to read Nairaland?

When I posted that "Nando+Dillish = D!ldo", could you be kind enough to remind me again who jumped on my case with his jabberwocky? And do you remember that sweet reply I gave you?

You see, it goes both ways, and just like you're allowed to advertise your shallow thought process, I'm allowed to rant and rave about a housemate I don't like.

Now, if you don't like that, dear brother? You're allowed to locate the nearest brick wall in your vicinity, and ram your face into it.

Regards cool
There you go.

Also, I find it ironic you could say that, considering your last ID (GH Kwame) had a reputation for shying away from confrontations with men, and only choosing to attack female posters, which, not too long ago, led some of them into calling you a coward on this very thread undecided
Or have you forgotten?

By the way, speaking of identities, I've really been meaning to create a permanent Nairaland ID and dump this spade, cuz mehn, reading through Olisa (the original creator)'s past posts, this troll ID is crap. I mean craaaaaap!

Been getting mails and replies based on things said since 2006 wey no be even me talk grin LOL

But laziness to create a permanent ID myself just dey worry me. I'm kinda stuck in it.

Audio Rage sef, I forgot the password, and na one Mailinator email I use undecided

Anyway, one of these days I'll have an ID of my own and leave this one to float eternally in cyberspace.
