Agbgift: @spade, wetin na? You wan give me nightmare with this stephen tyler picture?
When I was younger, my older brother (who was such a jerk) used scare tactics to scare my measles off. Just thought it would work with your malaria grin
Sorry ooo.

StateOfMind: Sharap dia.. grin you did not confirm it grin..it just occurred to you same way it did to reincarnated after I 'confessed'.

I had a lot of 'slipping moments' with the handle though.. This one you quoted is just one of the moments.
I'm telling you the truth. The blunt truth. I confirmed it before then, and even kinda believed you, Dommfa and Dominique were one and the same. But then, Dominique is a mod, so that just leaves you and Dommfa grin

I wanted to ask you that night, but just decided not to bother cuz it didn't really matter.

True story grin

Reincarnated: Who be Olivia? I just checked her tweets grin abeg who on here is a med student in America and has the twitter handle @diva_tohbad grin
I only know about a male med student who was frequenting this thread. His username is "rovert", and he studies at Newcastle. English name, Chris... My 'spadey' senses tell me. grin
CelebritiesRe: Funke Akindele And The Bastardisation Of The English Language – Daniel Odih by spade: 7:11pm On Nov 01, 2013
Africans are the only set of people who think their ability to speak a white man's borrowed language should translate to some form of superiority or degree of importance.

It doesn't bother these people that the same white man did not give a demon's asss about their native languages when he went on butchering the names of their towns ('Onicha' became 'Onitsha'; 'Owerre' became 'Owerri'; 'Omambala' became 'Anambra'; 'Enu-Ugwu' became 'Enugu'; 'Oka' became 'Awka'; and 'Olu' became 'Orlu') to fit his accent and language. Oh, of course it doesn't.

They see it as a great achievement that many of their primary schools have laws where the students get penalised for speaking their mother tongue. Their cultural pride. Oh, 'Vernacular' they've termed it.

Many of these people are proud to celebrate Halloween on the 31st of October, although none of their white masters gave a damn about celebrating New Yam Festival on August.

Boy... It must sure feel good being a conquered negro.

f rain c: i don't like insulting people online but i will say this,

must you always think with your foot?
if you don't have anything meaningful to contribut
then hang your fingers
Hellooooo? Do you have nothing else to do with your empty self except play 'Internet Policeman' to posts that are neither addressed to you nor made in reference to you?
Do you, for a second, think I give a majestic shhit if you like insulting people on the internet or not? undecided

Please, kindly get your ratchet asss out of my way. You're a nonentity.

TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by spade: 11:08am On Nov 01, 2013
See de post

dommfa: She was born delusional. She was born with
hallucinogenic drugs in her blood. If you
know that twitter handle through out the
season especially if you checked the
hashtags, Dillish tags from time to time, you
will know her and a handful of others as
people who saw and heard only what they
wanted. You would literally watch something
and check twitter and they would be
describing something totally diff from what
you watched.
She loved Dillish because she wanted Dillish
with Melvin. She never loved Dillish for
Dillish. Anytime Dillish showed that she was
not into Melvin, she and her mates would
bash Dillish. Whenever the prospect of
Dillish winning was broached, they would
cast it aside. Melvin was always their winner.
Dillish was just to escort him and be the
Elizabeth Gupta of this season. Melvin would
win the money and take Dillish from Steve.
This was their fantasy.
Instead Melvin was the escort and Dillish
took the money and was happy to see her
Steve and is saying to any interviewer with
ears that no one was worth losing her man
and regardless of how cute the guys were,
her heart belonged to one man. This is not
sitting well with them. Now she comes with
this crock of shit.
Melvin getting ROA in itself was rigging. He
deserved only Nigeria. He was not your
typical Naija HM. He lacked the charisma. It
is no surprise Eli got SL. WA for once did
right and did not just mumu for Naija and EA
had been warning that they would support
any but WA. So where is the surprise? SADC
angry with D for her WA alliance went Cleo.
EA went with Africas choice. Dillish had been
a potential winner for some about 8 weeks in
and after she survived Angelo she became
even more so. Only blind Nigerians thought
it cleared the path for Melvin. Like he was
some kind of strong contender. Based on
what? One foray for Africa to vote?
These people will remain demented till next
season, then they will make the same
mistake again and lament again. It is a life of
perennial lamentations for people like this.

From truthserum on bba forum in reply to the josy lady

This being reminds me of spade a lot everytime I read his posts simply because of his unhidded hatred n disgust for the mellish fans and mellish fantasy itself. They are both extremely articulate and can really diss too. The only difference is that truthserum hates melvin guts, spade doesn't.
Very similar, mehn. Veeeeeeery veeery similar grin
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by spade: 11:04am On Nov 01, 2013
Oh, and yes - StateOfMind has always been Dommfa.

Page 246 of this thread gave me a hint.
But when I eventually confirmed it, was when she posted a comment made by Truth Serum on that BBA Fans page, drawing similarities between me and that poster.

There was something about the way she said it, sounded so familiar. grin

They're all the same at the end of the day.

Tech_soldier: I'm finding it hard to rationalize Forbes' choice of Putin as the most powerful man in the world ahead of Obama.
I think it's because he took Obama and his loyalists to the cleaners that last time grin

Now, couple that with Obama's about-face and inaction regarding the Syrian crisis, as well as the government shutdown.

Omo, Obama really got shown up, mehn.

No mind dem, people are just stupiid. It doesn't take a deaf man to know both dbanj and donjazzy are not the same without the other. Its not Nairaland alone. That's the problem of your country.

TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by spade: 8:54pm On Oct 30, 2013
StateOfMind: Hmn...see spade coming here to act like the victim.. shocked tongue..dude, you finished those people one by one. I followed that thread from the moment it started getting replies and I was shocketed at the way you singlehandedly buried all of them.cheesy

Its very Typical of nairalanders to bring in tribal sentiments and throw their reasoning faculties out of the window whenever an artiste or a political figure is being criticised, though sometimes some criticisms are also based on this same tribal nonsense.

And then, another popular but lame comeback is assuming your financial worth and comparing it with that of the person involved. But its nl, always be prepared for anything. cheesy

Agbgift, pele, get well soon dear..

Hi iyawo, se baby n kick? cheesy

Jekyll..sup, how's ella? Hope you taking good care of her?cheesy

There will always be Bigots on Nairaland. You just have to try and ignore them, i know it's easier said then done.
Obrafour: For the sake of the Bolded Please start liking Nairaland.
Yeah, I agree. Guess there are some places I have to avoid, namely Politics section, although it's hard.
The banter there can get quite tiring and boring.

And LOL @Obrafour grin -- That Sexuality Section is my new home as much as I don't have much to contribute there, since I no dey blaze to that extent, abeg oh grin
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by spade: 8:17pm On Oct 30, 2013
So it started when I was trying to catch up on this very thread o.

Reading the past 50 or so pages I missed when my subscription ran out that last time, while on the side, putting some finishing touches on my 'Chase em down' tactics grin

But na one particular post make my blood hot eeeehhhh! angry

When asked by Reincarnated, she tried to downplay things, and said she was just my admirer.

JUST?

Just an ADMIRER? angry

Wait... On TOP of that, she mentioned Sholay2011?

Hold on oh. Cherekwa just a minute...
My future wife tried to put me in the "Admire-ree" Zone?

ADMIRE-REE ZONE?

AD-MAYA-REE... ZONE!!!

Na im I ask ooooh. My people

Spade + StateOfMind OR Sholay2011 + StateOfMind, which one reeks of "Mellishism"?

If you join Spade and StateOfMind, the result no be SpadeOfMind? A match made in Heaven?

Now compare am with joining Sholay2011 and StateOfMind. Wetin you go produce no be "StateOf2011"? Imagine o! We dey for 2013, dem still dey discuss the state of things in 2011! Abeg, my people, no be jonsing be dat?

Now I don conclude wetin my heart dey tell me to do since -- As soon as I regain my health, I'm handing my laptop over to a shoe-shiner in my street, and trekking with a bottle of palmwine, from Calabar to Gombe, Ibadan, Abeokuta, or wherever she's hiding, and I go carry am, kicking and screaming, to my house. Na by-force wedding things. I mean it.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by spade: 7:01pm On Oct 30, 2013
By the way, there's a very good chance it was a comment from StateOfMind that gave me this ill health.
Something wey she talk the other day veeeeex me no be small. In short, I no even eat the day I read am. Whaaaaat!

Cont'd.

Eyah, Agbgift, get well soon oh kiss

We seem to have the same problem, as Malaria wan finish me since Monday.

Started taking Lonart just around 1:00 AM yesterday, and have been home since then. Didn't even go out. Just in pyjamas... Keeping myself busy by watching 'a few things'.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa "The Chase" Official Thread by spade: 6:32pm On Oct 30, 2013
I'm really starting to hate Nairaland.

You can't even talk about the wackness of an artiste without people attaching pointless sentiments to it, particularly of the tribal nature.

Just imagine the other day I posted a story from a Zimbabwean site about D'Banj's disastrous performance in their country, and the next thing, a bunch of bottom-feeding D'Banj stans began to accuse me of stuupiid shittt. Yet I wasn't a bigot when I said Tonto Dike deserved to be tried under an international court for crimes against humanity the day she released "Hi" and "Itz Ova".

I kinda wish there was a block button (as it is on Facebook) where you'd be able to ensure say some people's posts no go dey show up on your screen to mess up your day.

----

But that's by the way.

My people, how una dey jare? I've been stuck in the Sexuality section, reading Zubby's thread.

I swear, some of these guys don 'overdo', grin If I did it that much, I'd probably be numb and impotent by now grin
