I say Beverly's messed up family kinda played a role here to be honest.
Imagine the rejected meat you called 'husband material'. A 37 year old fool who still doesn't know what to do with his life.
Played around with Huddah, played with Annabel got rejected by Maria and then settled for you! And you still couldn't see him for what he truly was.
Angelo lacked ambition from Day 1, let's not even phucking coat it! Right there on stage, he felt it cool to proclaim himself a 'pleyuuuh' - At his phucking age! Playing the role of a teenage playboy while his years pass him by.
Suffering a midlife crisis at 37. When he turns 50, I guess it would be "end time crisis".

The reason I blame Beverly's broken home, is probably because her father was never responsible to begin with. If he were a responsible man who provided for his family and showed them the right path to take, Beverly would've respected him and shaped her choices in men after him (as most women are known to use their fathers as the ideal image of a real man when picking potential life partners). That way, she would NEVER had seen a complete loser like Angelo, and called him HUSBAND MATERIAL!
Angelo isn't even the type of guy I'd hook up with any of my female friends and be able to sleep well at night.

To tell you the truth sef, of all the girls I've dated, from Abia, to Plateau, to Ekiti, to Imo, to Edo, to Enugu, save for the accents and native beads, I never would be able to guess where they came from by just physically looking at them.
