Guys, I read on Twitter that Maria and Melvin have been kissing like mad at the club... And that she eventually left with him, Uti, Bryan, Beverly and Bassey because the club was getting stuffy. Una don see wetin dis our guy dey do? ![]() By the way, why is Uti always in the company of brothas? Or should we expect another Michael Scofield confession soon? |
1,2:Dude!!! Your name is "1,2", and this post of yours clocked in at 12:12AM! ![]() Just taking note of the coincidence ![]() https://www.nairaland.com/1302478/big-brother-africa-chase-official/1674#17674891 |
ochongonoko: Non avid?.. Like seriously?.. I that sat up all night voting melvin and campaigning for him on FB and on this thread is a non-avid fan?. Simple cos I don't scream melvin in people's faces?. Or cause I don't beef the people that calls melvin boring or spade teeth?. Huh?. Or cause I don't defend melvin at every given opportunity when @fork addict bashes melvin?. Or cause I wasn't an extremist and thinks melvin is not untouchable and not above getting criticized and that everyone has the right to air his opinions?. Chineke!!. Or cos I like other HMs and judge them fairly?. Or cos I love elikem that you hated and had to call me MR sitting-on-the-fence? Get tha fucck outta here!!.. If they are people that had melvin's back, I'm among them. I created 20+ accounts cos of melvin. I had sleepless night cos of melvin and just cos I don't support the putting down of the HMs unfairly, you label me NON-AVID...LOL! I was kinda surprised when she actually called me that. "non-avid fan". Shebi the same Spade wey go to bed by 4:17AM because I was up all night voting for Melvin? ![]() Maybe "avid" na the type wey dey run around social networks acting like Melvin is above criticism, while trying to shoot down DESERVING finalists like Elikem. Refusing to take note of your imperfections is just the same as refusing to rise above them, cuz you first have to identify a problem before fixing it. So how you gon' fix a problem when you've refused to see it? Ah well. Life is beautiful ![]() |
But SafariGirl, I've told you this before - You need to learn some humility. |
lucenzo: NIGERIANS HAVE BEEN THIS SHOCKED SINCE ABACHA DIED. ![]() |

Drahmah: Okay, now its over, and the thread may be shut down soon; before it is, I have to do this. I joined this thread from page 300plus, reason being I'm a bit of a BBA fan, and I couldn't watch BBA anymore(don't ask me whyThank you, boss. Shebi na you be 'Drama' for the TVSA blog? You've been an amazing poster, and I truly owe you for some of the inspiration I've recieved this season ![]() |
Yinkade: I wish melvin all the best in whatever he does.....he should also learn that in certain conditions you have to put your self first.....be more versatile, come out of his shell......and not be too reserved...its an entertainment show for crying out loud......Thank you my brother. I do these things knowing someday I might get to need my country peeps the way Uti, Kevin, Karen and Melvin also needed us. Doing your bit is important. Yeah, I'm sure Melvin's people will brief him on this. The show serves as a platform for people to sell themselves. There was only going to be one winner, so even if you're not going to win, make sure you use the opportunity served to you, to LET GO of all your inner inhibitions and LOSE YOURSELF, go nuts and have a good time. It's an entertainment show at the end of the day, heh? ![]() Well, didn't work out as we'd hoped, but I know for sure God's guiding light will be with us all. God bless you too. |
IK gets to keep his job ![]() First year he came in, a Nigerian won Second year, a Nigerian won Third year, a Nigerian and a Zimbabwean won. Things were starting to look preeeeetty awkward. But the fourth year, a South African won. And now, a Namibian has won. Atleast now people won't be raining curses on him like before, based on things he's actually innocent about. ![]() Results don dey equalize. |
chima12: You guys can see that some mellish fans still can't give up.at the crusial last 2 weeks of the bba,a lot of you were still hyping 2 people ie mellish, melaria instead of hyping only your favorite housemate.that is one reason why its difficult for naija to move forward as a nation.we don't learn from our mistakes and we choose not to learn from our mistakes. If dillish loves stephen, she should stay with him,if she doesn't love him, then its a pity but love shouldn't be forced n its not good to love someone out of pity, then she should move on but not with melvin or any bba housemate.the truth is dat melvin was so boring n his game was too weak,he lacked the drive n zeal of a winner,he lacked the winning mentality,he hadly expressed himself properly,I refrained from critisizing him all this while just cos his nigerian n I wouldn't want to think I am pulling someone down.mellish just won't work neither will melaria work cos it all depended on melvin winning.I simply don't see even maria hooking up with melvin, ladies like guys who exude confidence but melvin didn't really show dat character trait n the last two weeks for melvins game were a disaster;cleo, dillish n elikem took the shine out of melvins game so badly, only thing I saw melvin doing in the last two weeks was giving massage to the ladies.Deadest. Can't take anything away from this post. You didn't lie. |
sholay2011: Hmm...dis one wey @Spade dey spew out motivational lines and thoughtful epistles...na wa oo. And some said on NL that BBA is a rubbish game?LOL Bros, I've been a Bawse right from birth ![]() We may have supported different camps this year, but it's all good. |
Well, like I've always maintained, a man has to be decisive, bold, daring and spontaneous. I was raised that way. Being passive will get you nowhere. Melvin's decision to not save himself the first time he was up, was cool. But he shouldn't have stopped there. When you go for a show like this, it's the chance of a lifetime. You should seize every opportunity to sell yourself to Africa, to fight for victory in everything you have to win. Hope this helps us learn too. Niceness will get you many friends and admirers, but it is not an elevating factor. What truly elevates you is your X Factor; your burning desire to rise and phucking CONFRONT fate. Ricco had it, Hazel did not. Richard had it, Ofunneka did not. Karen had it, Keagan had it, Uti had it, and most especially, Kevin had it. Kevin was a short black boy who no-one took seriously at first. But did it stop him? No. He seized every chance in the Diary Room to sell himself to Africa, as well as show off his rapping skills no matter how imperfect. He saw the hottest babe in the house, and WENT AFTER HER, suffering rejection but never stopping. A man needs to be a GO-GETTER in his life. We were designed that way. That's why males are the heads of the nuclear family structure. A man should be decisive and bold. A man should be the one comandeering the family, and as a result, should NOT waste a second thinking about what outsiders would think of him. Speak your mind, act your words, walk your talk, and most especially, phuck the world. That's what a male winner does. That's what a male winner should always do. ![]() |
nikky341: They were saying that Nigeria has won three times so they will back ghana,An understandable point as per West African alliance, to be honest. |
9ja4eva: Jide @Tommyjyde 42mFunny enough, he's an Arsenal fan ooo ![]() |
ninnyanny: OMG....SL vote elikem...now that's some good news...naija,learn ur lessonI always said it. Be humble. I'm sure SafariGirl has accepted too ![]() |
noname: Nawa oh! So Mellish people still dey talk? Dillish wey tell Melvin say she see am as a brother! Then she come dey play mind tricks with am again. So if he no love her like that he go force himself to admit am? Abeg make we hear word. Dillish has won because she was destined to win just the same way Melvin and Dillish will be together I they are destined to be together. This Mellish stuff is BS I swear...Forget it. You're wasting your time ![]() |
But Botswana going for Cleo after all the noise about Beverly was quite hilarious. Really now? ![]() |
But if we're to be honest, this Season's results did appear fair, in the sense that the countries people thought were riggable had voices of their own. Like, in past editions, Namibia was merely a powerless appendage of Zimbabwe (like in BBAllStars where Namibia never went to Meryl or Mwisho, but only voted in Zimbabwe's interests). BBAmplified also didn't help matters, as Namibia was constantly voting Wendall even when they never liked him. Also, Ethiopia had a voice this time, and actually thought for themselves. Was never a Naija puppet vote. Voted Natasha because Malawi voted Betty. You know, thought outside the box. And to tell you the truth, at a point, I thought the winner was going to be between a Nigerian and a Zimbabwean (after seeing Pokello's 8 votes the first time she was up) - but alas, she walked out with just two votes. South Africa sef was feeling funky after winning last year, and even had a lot of us sipping the KoolAid that Angelo was a strong contender for the cash... But wetin happen in the end? ![]() Looks like the Naija-Zim rigging machines don finally knock ![]() AllStars was soooo dubious ![]() Now, people will actually humble themselves and go BEG for votes like should rightfully happen. God bless us all. It was pretty fair IMHO. Looking forward to next year, if it happens ![]() |
safarigirl: First off, I'd like to congratulate Sholay and languy for the win. Thanks hun ![]() Love you! |
♛AndrERush♛:My Dead Space 2 download is at 96% now, and I'm sure gonna be playing this mathafacka this evening! Yeeah! ![]() |
9ja4eva: Fact remains MELVIN was dull in all aspects.Yeah. He was never a go-getter. Things do not miraculously jump on your laps unless you work for them. At 29, he should've known that. All those women who wanted him, like Maria, were the ones making the moves, and he shied away from all of that, saying he wanted to focus on his game. I, asked time without number, where this game truly was, cuz I never saw it. He would've done a lot for himself with just a little effort, but he never put it. Pokello, Motamma, Dillish, Feza, Annabel, Maria - all these women did show interest at point, and some of them still do - but he just shied away from all that, hoping 48 million Naira would fall on his laps. Let's be realistic here, mehn. All the same, he's my boy, and if there's one thing he did, he sure helped change a lot of negative stereotypes about Nigerians in the continental front, and I'll always support him for that. Best wishes, Mel! I'm still proud of you, homey ![]() |
Royal^Pearl^:Abeg, help me slap am well well. Inshort, destroy im face sotay im go resemble Adedibu. |
OK... So far, countries that have produced winners in this game are as follows: Zambia Tanzania Angola Nigeria Zimbabwe South Africa Namibia 6/14 so far. |
That mango head Sholay must be feeling like a bawse now ![]() Mtshhhhheeeeeewwwwww!!! |
How Africa voted. Can it just be posted already? |
SAGirl: And most importantly, no rigging.Because a Nigerian didn't win? Don't be too sure. By the way, how's you? You went AWOL for like, forever. |
By the way ItsModella, e still dey do you like film trick? ![]() Dis wan no be only film trick ooo, dis one na state-of-the-art visual effects developed by James Cameron. ![]() |
ItsModella: What next now?How Africa voted... |
wild child: Erm erm congrats to Melvin too,he finally broke the 2nd place jinx,he was 4thLMFAO!!! ![]() |
Truth be told, just like I'd always said, Melvin never showed determination or seriousness towards this cash prize. Maybe we can say he just wasn't 'desperate'? All the same, I wish him the best. He's got a bright future ahead of him for sure. Wonder what the final results look like. Shocked to see Cleo finished 2nd as well! |
Me and my team of hi-tech assassins are currently tracking Sholay's location as we speak. Guy, better just begin dey run, because we are coming with fertilizer bombs to SCATTER YOU!!! |
Krasid: I feel so sorry for cleo.Naaah, my girl will be fine. She's got a solid career waiting for her outside, and I can't wait to see the superstar she becomes! ![]() |

), but I needed to keep in touch, and I have to say I have been overwhelmed! I got more than I expected from this thread. And although, I wasn't prominent on the updates front, I followed this thread, and I enjoyed every bit of it. The jokes, the flirtations, the fights, and the strategizing...it was all fun.
