In this case, I can bet there was no advertisement or due process. Amaechi simply bribed them and they gave him the no objection under the selective/restrictive method of tendering. There is no way such a company would have won the bid if the contract was advertised and national/international open competitive method of procurement was adopted.

I’m glad FEC rightly refused to approve the contract. The company lacks the capacity to deliver the contract. That they even demanded for upfront payment before delivery says it all.
