Marriage they say is a beautiful thing but if you ask many men out there what marriage is to them or what marriage has brought to them or will they get married if they are given chances to rewind time, their responses will be in negative form or NO.

That same step(marriage) is the next step to be taken by me but I have one unanswered question. I am a young man in my 30s, currently free from any dating relationship and about to begin my search for a life partner, but I like being cleared/well-informed about something before going into it.

Pardon me for this long note I am about to dish out and the question I will be asking at the end.

For sometimes now, people around me have been telling me I am next in line to get married, some telling me to ensure I bring a responsible lady home and all that.
My mom do tell me she won't rush me to get married but as an observant person you will notice she really wants me to bring a woman(wife) home.

My dad told me sometimes ago that if I don't have a lady, that maybe they should search for a young good girl for me early next year.
My younger ones are expecting me to take that step so they can start planning on theirs and all that.

All these are for their own good or benefits, I am not saying they don't deserve it but I have been trying to get a tangible reason to get married i.e what is the SPECIAL thing(benefit) it will add to my life, I am the one getting married not them.

A bikeman, popularly known as Okadaman that do come to my place told me story about himself and big opportunities that marriage has made him miss.

In addition to his words and those I have heard from others, the fear of things going south, disappearance of peace of mind and all that are other factors.

Presumed(anticipated) benefits which are not as they are expected to be again are)

CHILDREN: Children can be gotten without marriage, for example: C. Ronaldo, Mikel, and others did that and they are doing well.

GOOD MEALS: Foods can be gotten from outside or prepared by the man or any other person that is not a wife for the man. Moreover, how many of them can cook well like our mothers? I'm a better cook than most ladies I have come across.

COMPANIONSHIP: That is an overstatement in our present society. It is even more noticeable in dating relationship than in some marriages these days.

SEX: That is the cheapest service/thing to get after air and water(clean water is even more expensive). Moreover many marriages are lacking sexually. It is worse if the man has high sex drive aka high libido.

SUPPORT: I don't want to go there because it is an open fact that instead of getting support, the man is being leached/milked of the one he has.

HOME: I can still remember how some married men will pack their cars at the junction, stay inside their cars for long before driving home, some go to the bar/relaxation centers to chill before going home, some don even like going home. You all know why?

With all these in mind, I want to ask this question that has been bothering me because I need to sort it before taking the step...

Now, my question is "WHAT IS THE BENEFIT OF MARRIAGE TO A MAN IN THIS OUR TIME?"

This calls for serious concern especially for the female folk as ladies are the ones at the receiving end of this whole cruelty and madness of ritualism that has become the order of the day in our already decaying society.

The rate at which female body parts are being ripped on a daily basis by their supposed boyfriends and lovers leaves me wondering if one can still have a genuine guy/relationship without having to watch your back that he's going rip your organs the next minute.

Right now, its very difficult to agree to date a guy without the fear or thoughts of being used for rituals because the heart of every Young guy/man has been seered with a hot iron and so hardened and desperate to make money at all cost that they wont think twice when presented with an opportunity to do money rituals.

These days if a guy approaches me, I walk as fast my legs can carry me and I'm most tempted to scream "ritualist!!!!
It is that bad.
A guy can not approach you and the next thing on your mind is rituals. Like seriously, its appalling.

Please, with this rising trend of killing and havesting female body parts, is it still advisable to accept guys/ mens advances talk more dating them?. And don't even begin to tell me to go to my religious circle because they are everywhere. Some are disguising as bro in the church. In fact 90% percent of men are desperate to get rich quick therefore can be easily influenced by this evil trend.

What should we single ladies do?

I'd like to start by saying I'm serving, Sorry if the story is all messed up as my mind is F'ed up right now.

I got into a corpers lodge which used to be a lounge. I didn't want to date anyone but this hoe kept disturbing me to. Gave in.

Russia claims the ship has been evacuated, remains afloat, and the cause of the fire is under "investigation" - making no mention of the strike.

Drones are reported to have been used to harass the vessel and keep its air defences distracted before the missiles were fired from a hidden battery near Odesa.


At least two of the missiles are then reported to have struck the ship - causing a massive explosion and inferno as they are believed to have detonated one of Moskova's exposed deckside missile tubes.

Russia claims the ship has been evacuated, remains afloat, and the cause of the fire is under "investigation" - making no mention of the strike.

Ukraine meanwhile has said the vessel is believed to be sinking as the damage and bad weather takes its toll on the now-abandoned wreck.

Russia has claimed the ship is being towed back to the port - and so far no pictures have been revealed showing the damage.

And some Ukrainian reports claimed the ship has already rolled over and sunk.

Neptune missiles were only introduced into military service in Ukraine last year - with each weapon carrying a 330lb warhead with a range of 170 miles.

The batteries, which are mounted on the back of large trucks, can be armed with up to 72 of the missiles.

Targets are believed to be selected by drones.

And the missiles can hit speeds of more than 650mph as they streak towards the enemy ship.

The ageing ship is one of many within Russia's creaking and out-of-date navy - which, while large, is still reliant on a spine of vessels built in the final days of the Soviet Union.

And the one most infamous examples of Putin's dilapidated navy is the smoke belching aircraft carrier, the Admiral Kuznetsov.

Kuznetsov became a spectacle when she sailed past Britain in 2016 - complete with her own tug in case she broke down.

Putin has been attempting to modernise his surface fleet - but the lose of the Moskva will be a major blow to Russia's prestige and their military operations in Ukraine.

Naval warfare expert H I Sutton told The Sun Online: "The attack will be symbolic, and also militarily significant.

"Moskva was the flagship and so likely had a command and control function over other warships. And its air defenses covered much of the northern Black Sea."

"The Russian Navy may rethink how it employs its warships there. The cruise missile launches are likely to continue, but we may not see as bold deployment of ships near the Ukrainian coast.

"And an amphibious landing near Odesa now appears even less likely."

The author, who recently penned an article about Moskva for Naval News, also noted the anti-air on the ship looked "increasingly dated, even by Russian Navy standards".

Russia has suffered a disastrous war in Ukraine - losing nearly 20,000 troops, almost 3,000 tanks, and 300 aircraft.

Putin had expected he could march across Ukraine without much of a fight - but in reality the Russians have faced a valiant resistance.

The mad tyrant stupidly had believed victory was possible in a matter of days, but the war has instead been raging for weeks.

He has continued to defend the war as a "noble mission" and promised to continue amid mounting allegations of war crimes.
