Ningen:Thanks for joining the conversation. Feels happy reading your mature contribution. It's invaluable |
spyg1:She will be 22 years in the next four years. Which is ok by me. Her age notwithstanding, she behaves older than her age |
lanibi:Truly draining. Thanks for your wonderful contribution |
Sammy07:Never at all. Thanks for your contribution |
Shellsploit:Lol |
ifex370:Thanks for joining the conversation. I would like to marry at 28 and I'd like to marry a lady younger than I am. One important thing to me is that I need to spend some years (2-4) in a relationship to ensure I make the right decision. Can you pls strike a balance between this sir? |
Good morning everyone. I am in a relationship with this young girl who is six years younger than I am. I intend to marry her In the next four years. I'd like to give a little about the relationship for clarity purpose. I am a 24 years old graduate (BSc) and completed my NYSC last year November. Even though my parents are financially doing ok, I stayed back in my state of service trying to establish myself and find something to do because I love to be independent and think well for myself. In fact my girlfriend loves me for that single attribute. Until this pandemic, I was doing some little job (teaching) while seeking the greener grounds. I had to return home to my parents in my state (also her state of origin and residence) because of the COVID-19. The pandemic has really affected my hustle. Even though we don't stay in the same location, we have a house in her own area but we only go there when need arises. I promised her that I will come visit but each time I try, it fails due to one thing or the other. The Lockdown in my state made things worst. The road is opened only at weekends (Friday through to Sunday). I have made several attempts but it failed. Last weekend, I scheduled to go down to where she is (it was all set 100%) but before the weekend, she told me that she is in town, a little closer to where I stay to look after one of her sick uncles. I asked how she passed the security personnel on the road she said they lied to them that she is sick and are going to a big hospital. When it was time for me to honor my words of going down to her I asked her where actually she is and she told me that she is back home so I can come over . I sensed that she was lying to me so I asked why she had to lie to me about that. And she said she wanted me to feel the pain of turning someone as I was doing to her. I apologized because I am quick in saying I am sorry. I still insisted on the lie she told me and I pleaded that she should be more straightforward to me because sometimes she doesn't talk straightforward and she'd later come and say she was joking. it caused a big problem for us. In fact I reminded her that I have never lied to her for once. She was angry and never wanted to even hear sorry. I left her for the night. The next day I called her again and we talked normal but with reservations. Yesterday we got talking and she told me this and I quote..." I can take anything from you now but if I change my mind, it will be difficult" I asked why she said that and she insisted that she doesn't say things anyhow. Please note that I have been the only one saying the I'm sorry. No apologies from her. I do not want to make mistake about my marriage. This girl seem unforgiving. And my own heart is a simple one I say sorry even when I'm not at fault. Your advice is needed pls. Thanks in advance. |
Dear OP, I completed my NYSC in Nov last year, still no work. I'm in need of some cash to acquire a skill online. 3K will be enough sir. I'm willing to send my acct number. Thanks |

The young man is afraid his home will be boring. Both of them seem boring to each other. |
Hello Nairalanders, someone sent this to me. he needs counsel, I'm sharing this on nairaland with his permission but I promised to keep his identity private. "I am 24 years old and I will want to marry at age 28. I graduated from the university and I completed my NYSC Nov last year. I am in a relationship with an 19 years old girl. The relationship has been fine and okay. The problem I have is that I am a bit of the melancholic temperament, quite reserved and quiet. The 19 years old girl I'm dating is as well a quiet and reserved person. Even though I talk to some extent more than she does but I'm afraid. My relationship is very boring, I can only imagine how my home will be if I finally decide to marry her. I love this girl and she loves me genuinely but our relationship is very boring I have other things I need counsel on but this is quite pressing in my heart. Can you please advice me sir? Thank you so much" |
FECOSON:Today was my first time hearing the hymn! I came across the station of the cross on AIT by Catholic Church and truly the song is heart touching |

Chidimercy:This hymn is powerful ma! I love to sing it |
In a lockdown, COVID-19 cannot stop us from remembering the journey of Jesus on the cross for our salvation. Drop the lyrics of your favorite hymn, it might encourage you and as well encourage someone today. For me, my favorite hymn is JESUS, KEEP ME NEAR THE CROSS (by Fanny Crosby, 1869) JESUS, KEEP ME NEAR THE CROSS Jesus, keep me near the cross, There a precious fountain; Free to all, a healing stream, Flows from Calv'ry's mountain. Refrain In the cross, in the cross Be my glory ever, Till my ransomed soul shall find Rest beyond the river. Near the cross, a trembling soul, Love and mercy found me; There the Bright and Morning Star Shed His beams around me. Near the cross! O lamb of God, Bring its scenes before me; Help me walk from day to day With its shadow o'er me. Near the cross! I'll watch and wait, Hoping, trusting ever; Till I reach the golden strand, Just beyond the river. |

In a bit to reduce the risk of contracting the Corona Virus disease, the Bennie Agro tech, a Jos based Agro/Automobile company created better and safer machine for washing of hands. It is a foot match dispenser. With the foot match dispenser, your hand will not have to switch on the tap, all you need do is to press it with your leg and the soap, water or hand sanitizer will be dispensed to your hand. It has three sections each with their leg pads: Soap, Water and Hand Sanitizer. See it in the image below. Video of Jerry Mallo, the CEO of the company showing it's usage can be watched on his Facebook via the link; https://www.facebook.com/100002922170016/posts/2790470927726952/?app=fbl Also recall that last year, the company displayed the first Nigerian Made sports car called Bennie Purrie. Let's encourage this young man Let's share it

Hello fam! Please who can help me? I have a guitar since two years now but I've not been able to learn because of lack of time and dedication for it. Now that I have to stay at home all day because of the COVID 19. Please can you help out in any way? Thanks |
Please I need your advice. I am 24 years old and I have dream of going into lecturing. While serving last year in Kano, I applied for MSc at the Bayero University Kano. I completed the service last year and I was as well Lucky to get the admission. I am still in Kano now looking for what to do. I for now teach in a primary school where I am paid 20k per month. I have as well dropped application in my undergraduate university where I graduated the best in my class. There's hope for me as one of my professors promised to follow my application up for me as he'd love to have me back in the department. My Dadd agreed to sponsor the MSc but I am quite confused wether to accept the admission (which is closing this week) or not. I feel that if I accept the admission I will suffer because I'd have to leave the 20k job I'm doing. Why will I at this stage depend on my Dadd, If I accept it, will it be proper for me to be asking for little money from parents? Don't you think I'd suffer as it might demand much money? Why shouldn't I forget the MSc and look for a job? I need advice as I have only today to decide. Thanks |
Loop1:You'd be shocked. I've sent them a mail to cancel my application. I will start a fresh application with a new email. I'd be ready for the worst |
I submitted my application to a wrong position what can I do to correct this please? |
