This post is really unnecessary...looking at the picture, I'm almost certain that is a hausa man. He didn't put up his feet to offend anyone, it's more of a habit he's imbibed.
I had a boss of northern extraction that used to pull up his feet and put on his chair when heading an in house meeting....I used to find it really funny..the man did it unknowingly most times..like I said it's a cultural habit that's been ingrained over time.

As I run a website, I'm personally registered to ACE logistics...www.ace.ng......thier services are top notch and they offer pay on delivery services. Once they get your money from d customer expect a remittance to your acct in 2 to 3 days . The equally send a variance report to help with cash reconciliations. My only grouse is, on thier pick up website, only lagos, Abuja and Portharcout is active, other states are greyed out...and oh I stay in portharcout so I don't know if thatso why....one last info, when you register with them you'll have to pay 17,500 into your wallet. This money is used for your shipments and you get to top up as it reduces
When I was in kaduna, I used courier plus. They are equally good...but in comparison to ACE it's like comparing an old generation bank to a zenith Bank! ( no offence courier plus o). With ACE you get that modern feel to the courier business, e.g ACE has an online pick up/drop off form..that of courier plus is manual.....for cash remittances after a pay on delivery they are equally trustworthy. But NO variance report like ACE, it's mainly manual. One strong advantage over ACE is that they have offices nationwide hence deliver nationwide.
I also discovered Konga express. The logistics arm of konga. Www.kos.com. ng. I've spoken with them and all and they seem good but I haven't used them. To become a merchant on thier platform, you'll need to register with 50k in your wallet, these money is used to service your account and you get to top up when depleted. If you don't want to register, then walk into any of thier offices and drop off but charges are more for a drop in customer. You can calculate thier charges on thier website using the calculator. For example, as a merchant, ph to lag is 1,500 as against drop off of 1,900. They deliver nationwide and v offices nationwide..this is a strong plus.
Finally also just recently discovered God is God logistics...www.giglogistics.ng....this spans from God is good motors...www.gigs. com. This company honestly suprised me as I bumped into them by mistake. Drove past thier beautiful terminus in kaduna and out of curiosity walked in. Highly efficient and I'll recommend them for logistics and for transport. I shipped personal effects, 4 big Ghana must go bags of my shop items from kaduna to ph when I was relocating and in 2days...yes 2 days I got called my items was in thier ph office! For thier travel arm sef, thier website is similar to that of an airline, you can book for a ticket online and this usually comes with a discount o...you even choose your seats online..with a diagram of the seating positions displayed so you see which seat you are choosing! I made enquiries for thier logistics arm and I got to know that as a merchant, you also pay in 50k which is used to service your account. My only grouse however is that they have a strong presence in the south but not much up north...for now, they don't deliver nationwide but I'm told they are expanding.
This info I'm sharing took me 3 years to get as an commerce merchant...I hope the info comes in handy to someone someday...all the best!

Family / Re: Help: My Wife Altered Our Marriage Certificate (Picture) by sparklebug: 9:21pm On Dec 10, 2016
Arresting your wife is rather extreme and dosent help your cause right now. Seek the services of a lawyer to tell you how to go about revalidating the certificate. Seems you're applying for a visa of some sort.....
Looking at d certificate seems your wife changed the date from 3 to 5....her reasons could be something as flimsy as wanting to be younger than you on paper. I don't think she envisaged this will cause you discomfort In the future. On a lighter note, I'm birthday mate with Your wife...only difference is d year

Travel / Re: Bonny Island: Most Beautiful Island In Nigeria (Photos) by sparklebug: 11:35am On Sep 23, 2016
Pictures show Nlng Residential area and industrial area. The main town itself, finima and bonny still reeks of poverty.
The RA is very organised and is managed mainly by Nigerians! Yes , there's serious "Nigerianisation" going on and the expatriates are being replaced by capable Nigerians. You still have few of them though. Light is 24/7, very good road network, hospital is A class, free gym and sports facilities for guest and staff residing there. Excellent schooling facilities (and free) for staff kids. Only staff kids school there, every class has a smart board.school buses always on time, you aren't allowed to drive until you get thier learners permit etc etc etc. Things work on the IA and RA cos you have good systems in place!
Nlng RA is a proof that with the right systems in place, Nigerians can successfully build a beautiful country. And the OP didn't come in through the NLNG jetty using the "catflash", a very comfortable 1 hour 30mins boat ride. Those pictures are from the local boats which I hear are equally good.

Religion / Re: Man Mocks Angry Pastor In Paris As He Was Shouting "Holy Ghost Fire" (pic, video) by sparklebug: 2:29pm On Sep 01, 2016
that man with a face cap acted more like a Christian than that fake pastor. Yes I call him fake because he does not exude Christ like virtues. Whatever did that man do to him to warrant him being consumed by fire? He was more concerned about his anger and ego than for the salvation of that man's souls which by the way should be every christians prime concern.
I like the way the man danced around him at the end and even tried to hug him downplaying the whole scene. ...that so called pastor needs psychiatric evaluation...fake men everywhere.

The most painful part of watching this video was when he girl ran to hide behind the lady I believe is the pastors wife. She allowed that idiot bundle her back to be flogged! That girl is pregnant, first trimester, early stages of pregnancy, any woman will know this stage is one of the hardest and being flogged is a no no! Women where in that congregation o! None of them thought it wise to rush down and protect that girl from more flogging. Kai! We're v we kept our sense of kindness?
We are so busy practicing religion hat we've allowed the milk of human kindness dry up in us! Shame shame shame!

I pity his gullible followers! This man physically assaulted two people in full glare of over a hundred persons and they cheered him on. To add salt to the injury the girl is pregnant! The trauma from that beating can make her have a miscarriage or is that his intention?
Help me understand this, is he flogging them cos she's pregnant or cos they had premarital sex? If it's cos of premarital sex he should exercise his arms well cos am sure loads of his congregation (customers) are equally guilty of fornication and adultery! Smh for gullible christians!

Family / Re: Marrying A Woman That Cannot Cook: Nigerians Respond (Video) by sparklebug: 5:47pm On Aug 12, 2016
repogirl:
I noticed that they mostly interviewed sokpan boys who lack exposure but the few men who were older and possibly already married were more tolerant of the idea.

Yes, a woman should know how to cook but in the case where she doesn't, other factors should also determine the best action to take.

Does she want to learn?
Does she have other redeeming qualities about her?
Her personality, etc....

What if she doesn't know how to cook but she is industrious, hardworking and a really caring woman who contributes financially to the family, would you still act the same way? I doubt it.

Modified:

Chai! I go find trouble this early morning. Okay o, I have heard you people. I was only playing devil's advocate. grin
So please stop mentioning me.

Still sha, there's a lot more to marriage than food cooking. Married people will understandangry

One sane quote here! I also noticed the last two men being interviewed looked more experienced and echoed the same thing; TEACH HER! All these " I'll pursue her cos she can't cook" sounds shallow biko. Life is more than food ..after all didn't Jesus say man shall not leave by food alone?
And to the ladies who can't cook, try and learn , you heard? Cooking isn't hard, once you learn the rudiments of steaming meat, fish, etc, you can free style on the dish and come out with a finger licking one! All the best!

for all those criticizing the proposed bill, have you all bothered to read it?why are you so afraid of making a widow take sole custody of her children? or is it the equitable sharing of her husbands estate that is scaring you men? don't you all know your sisters, daughters, mother's can benefit from this bill? as a man who has slaved all his life to provide for his home wouldn't you want your properties to go to your wife and kids in the case of your untimely demise?

read the proposed bill! it addresses ills women have suffered in the society! abi is it the word ''equality'' there scaring all of you? educate yourselves!!

Family / Re: Women, Childbirth And Laziness by sparklebug: 7:56pm On Oct 09, 2015
those bashing women on these thread have no clue what it means to get pregnant, deliver and nurse a baby. they also have do not v a clue how a womans body changes once she comits to bringing a baby into this world. yes all those celebs u mentioned have physical body changes o! its just thier money helping them package themselves better. have u watched stephanie okereke's reality series? make me fabulous? if u v, you'll see there is no ugly woman. in just a single day, you'll see how a normal everyday woman is transformed into a diva with just the right cloth, shoes ,hairdo and make up!
also dont forget no two women are the same bodywise. omotola was like a uk size 8 before she started childbirth. now she's in her 30's and should be a size 14. she's gone up like 3 cloth size o! some women are already size 12, the kind you'll call voluptious. after child birth they can go up to 14 or 16.
rather than bash women, what we should be advocating for is staying fit o! looking and feeling good even with your new found shape. truth is not many women will get thier pre pregnancy body back. look good and rock the body you have now!
thumbs up to all the mothers in the house joor!!

Most father's have also lost it! Why will a full blooded man allow his precious daughter's to be showcased this way? What happened to the divine authority given him by God? Why will he allow his very young and innocent daughter's be placed on a slab and watch pedophiles devour them hungrily with thier eyes as they twerk?
Why? Why? Why?
Looking at those pictures I'm sooo angry!!!!!!
And if they didn't have this kids they would v been disturbing Ababa God in heaven o! Now that he has blessed them, they go all out trying to ruin thier young lives. Bunch of fools!!!

Start from this so called kids parties see what mothers allow thier daughters to wear, the provocative dance steps they showcase. I have kids and one thing I know is they thrive on praises. If u praise a child for dancing provocatively She's going to do it the more! I weep for this upcoming generation o! We have slaughtered morals on the altar of civility.
Even if it's an audition, No sane mother should allow her under aged daughter to be on the stage at night, wearing that and twerking! II know some thAt take thier kids out to joints when they go drinking and won't take them home till 12am! Like seriously what values are you imparting on that girl?
