Just continue saving it
I know exactly what I'm saying because i have millions of naira and have done any type of business but in this Buhari government, everything is a disaster
The only profitable business is real estate and 80k can't even buy you a land that is so not true, there are many thing you can engage 80k and it will be profitable just that you need some few years to see real profit. |

Eddy2010: Fellow Nairalanders, can someone with a matured reasoning, very reasonable and convincing point of view please advice a brother on this issue. He is thinking of quitting his 48k job to take up Npower. His analysis shows that the 48k job isn't guaranteed. The man wakes up and fires anybody he wish. He joined the coy in February this year. Risk factor in the job pretty high. 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday. But Npower, pretty stable for 2 years, 8am-2pm Monday to Friday, risk factor very low. Extra time and days for other business. Do tender your modest thoughts please. Let's help the guy in his choice making. Before quitting your job think about this! The aspect of Npower you applied for, is it in your line of field? Do your current job increase your knowledge base in your field of study? Do you have enough time to further or plan for something else (as 48k is not enough to rely on)? Is there a chance of salary increase? Do you have a family relying on you? Do you have a hand work that you want to improve on, or what do you want to use the extra time for? well if you discover that the chances of increase and improving in your field of study is limited in your current job, with little or no time to prepare for something else please quit. But if there is a chance of increase in salary, and all that your guess is a good as mine. |

Romance › Re: Can A Guy Like Me Still Find Love? by sparko1(m): 11:33am On Nov 21, 2016 |
BossNixanda: With the present situation of things in Nigeria now, almost all ladies simply need an already made guy with everything they can imagine like house, cars, swag, six packs, pink lips and just keep naming it all. Out of the list above I have none but a caring heart, ambition, potentials and the fear of God.
Does my type still have the chance of finding true love anymore in this Nigeria with the way ladies are now or would I just be hoping for just the ones that are desperate because their time is running out? I still wonder where you get those notion of TRUE LOVE from, marriage is a contract, if you want to get into it, you've to fulfill your own part of the contract. now on the issue of house, cars, swags (what the hell do you mean, you don't have swag?), six pack, and pick lips, none of those things is even in the category, you haven't meet desperate ladies that don't care if any of those things is available. On a more serious note! bros, please and please, as far as you are a man, there is no hurry, if you hurry in, you might just hurry out too! no time to think about marriage when there is no money!. |

marvelck: If you find yourself in a situation like that, what would you do? Continue to stick with him, with the hope that things would turn out well later, or dump his ass and find another guy that is ready to marry you. Most girls usually go with the latter (dump him and move on) these days, due to obvious reasons. Since getting married nowadays is usually for economic reason and not cos of love...according to many, who love epp? The problem is you want to get married for a reason, maybe because you are in your late twenty's or some other reason relating to this. He doesn't want to for a reason too, know the reason and find a way to solve it together, after all you said you love him. |

hushshinani: I had a conversation with a lady seeking a husband....
So as she said. Finding a husband is so hard these days... And I asked why, this is what she said.
-You find a handsome one, the brain is empty. -You find a brilliant one, he looks too serious. -You find a rich one, he is disrespectful. -You find a hard-working one, he never has time -You find a serious one, his EX keeps calling. -You find a humble one, he is broke. -You find a responsible one, he is not romantic. -You find an educated one, he feels he is always right. -You find an illiterate one, he always gets angry whenever you correct him. -You find a smart one, he lies every time. -You find the right one, he's married. Tell the lady, you can't eat your cake and have it or whatever the saying is this days! so she is: beautiful and intelligent brilliant and jovial rich and respectful... Let me stop there! if you see a woman that is beautiful (by beautiful, not those with fine face and knonked legs oh) she is most likely to be rude if you now see a lady with a rich father or boyfriend! heh! she is very disrespectful, talk anyhow, not to talk of she is rich. hmm! Talking trash, most of those ladies just watch telemundo or telenova or whatever the name is this days and begin to conjure things! |

Sylverkenz: Actually, To The OP and whoever it may concern, I WANT TO BARBER MY HAIR is very correct. According to the dictionary , Barber can be a verb, and a noun. verb (barbers, present participle barbering; past and past participle barbered)
to cut the hair or beard of (a person). Well, Mr Op, there is nothing like, 'i want to barb my hair' but rather 'i want to barber my hair' which is the correct sentence. |
Romance › Re: My Husband Is Too Hygienic, It's Driving Me Nuts - Mature Minds Talk by sparko1(m): 11:37am On Nov 15, 2016 |
Taiofil: The husband is a chronic perfectionist! its both a good thing and a bad thing! Buh the bad outweigh the good because that lifestyle is a perfect way to finish anybody both physically and spiritually! I have seen it over and over it doesnt end well! That lifestyle will creep into is waying of thinkin, his finance, investment, family etc... All because he wld bliv dere is a particular way of doing tins.
My advise is she should look for ways to manage him n bring him to terms on some things. in order to avoid regrets later in the future. #Mytwokobo# Really, so you prefer someone that will rather nag about everything? That is the best kind of person, instead of complaining about this the wife should join, when he discovers that everything is always in their right place, he won't bother. That's one of the reasons living with someone during my school days was a big problem for me, every time I return from class, i can't explain how they can be so disorderly and to add to it, sometimes I will meet them with their girlfriend. To me you are the problem, if he can kiss you and exchange saliva, that means he is not germaphobic. |

But, I'm not understanding, why?
The funniest excuse I've heard is that : Ibo women don't make an effort to learn Yoruba culture and pass such ideals to their kids
