Forget it. Bride price is just symbolic. The most important factor in marriage is the parental consent/blessings . Once that is granted., the couple can go ahead and start living together.

Bride price in most cultures is about exploitation. Marriage before the priest or an accredited official in front of witnesses and vow taking is the important thing spiritually not bride price.
My father did not accept bride price from my sister's husbands. He told the husbands to use the money to set up their homes. Also what about India,where the woman pays the bride price.
