why 2go collapse in my own opinion is the inability to focus on 1 main thing. 2go is suppose to be a chatting app, but along the way, they include alot of uneccessary features such as game, diffrent chatroom features + you gat to pay to use some of the feature via 2go credit. this is really a big turn off for most people who sees free alternatives. It was a breeding ground for Oloshoism too and credit scammers |

Divided by Tribe, United in Corruption: The Story of Nigeria's Political Landscape The intricate web of Nigeria's political milieu bears the imprints of deep-seated issues of corruption and division, which have been perpetuated by the pervasive influence of tribe and ethnicity in the country's political trajectory. Despite concerted efforts aimed at mitigating the problem of corruption, Nigeria's ranking on the global corruption index remains abysmal, indicating the deeply ingrained nature of the issue. In this discourse, we will delve into the multifaceted layers of Nigeria's political landscape, scrutinizing the influence of tribe and ethnicity in shaping the political milieu and its attendant impact on the country's development. Nigeria is a diverse and heterogeneous country with over 250 ethnic groups, each with its distinct language, customs, and traditions that have evolved over centuries. These ethnic groups have been the cornerstone of Nigeria's political landscape, with each group vying for power and influence. However, this quest for power has engendered deep-seated mistrust amongst different ethnic groups, impeding efforts to forge a common identity and foster unity. The Nigerian political terrain is dominated by two major ethnic groups - the Hausa-Fulani in the north and the Yoruba in the southwest. These two groups have held sway in Nigeria's political landscape, producing several of the country's past and present leaders. However, their dominance has resulted in the marginalization and exclusion of other ethnic groups, fueling widespread dissatisfaction and unrest. Corruption has been a persistent bane in Nigeria's political landscape, with several high-profile corruption scandals involving top government officials. This menace has had a deleterious effect on the country's development, leading to a lack of essential infrastructure, low standards of living, and widespread poverty. Corruption has also eroded the country's ability to attract foreign investment, further exacerbating its stagnant economy. The problem of corruption in Nigeria has been attributed to the lack of accountability and transparency in government institutions. Public officials have often used their positions to amass personal wealth, diverting public funds and resources earmarked for developmental projects. The corruption issue has become so entrenched in Nigeria's political culture that it has become arduous to eliminate. The Nigerian government has implemented several measures to tackle corruption, such as establishing anti-corruption agencies like the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC). However, these agencies have been accused of inefficiency and politicization. In recent years, some noteworthy achievements have been recorded in the anti-corruption campaign, with the conviction of several high-ranking politicians and public officials. Nonetheless, the issue of corruption persists, and there is a need for sustained efforts to stem its tide and repair the country's image. In conclusion, Nigeria's political landscape is characterized by corruption and division, with tribe and ethnicity playing a pivotal role in shaping the political milieu. The problem of corruption has had a significant impact on the country's development, resulting in inadequate infrastructure, low standards of living, and widespread poverty. Nigeria's leaders must strive to create a united and inclusive society that prioritizes transparency and accountability, with the people's welfare taking center stage. Only then can Nigeria break free from the shackles of corruption and achieve its full potential. |
