Class of degree don't really matter when it comes to federal employment, all those requirements are just formalities, they are lots of third class graduates who are gainfully employed in these agencies, I know of someone who got DSS recruitment just because someone stood for him.
When it comes for fed appointment, class of degree play a minimal role.

What many Nigerians don't understand is Nigeria has around 20000MW generation capacity with 8100MW transmission capacity and may likely reach 15000-18000MW while Distribution capacity remain 5000MW. So, in this case billions of Naira will be lost daily if we generate what Distribution system can't evacuate, therefore in as much as DisCos won't upgrade their capacity power will always remain a problem in Nigeria. Power is very expensive and small mistake will cost huge billions naira loss.
Those who privatized power to cronies who never had intention to upgrade it should be blamed.

The problem has never been with DisCos but rather the Transmission Company of Nigeria, TCN which is own ny the government. Generation and distribution companies are at their best for now it's only TCN that lagging.

Removal of fuel subsidy will show the true nature of poverty in Nigeria, it will improve money in government pocket and increas poverty in the country if social benefits is not introduced to cool the effects.
Nigeria has a very poor social benefit system whereby people who aren't supposed to get the benefits are the once getting it and it's still not enough.
