Health / Kindly Advice, Hurting Heel by spicyv1(f): 7:10pm On Oct 26, 2013 |
Hello all, Please I need professional advice I resumed running today, I ran for a little over 30 minutes. Several hours later, I feel intense discomfort beneath my feet, kind of close to my heel. It really hurts, it affects my movement. Now, I don't want to stop running , I can't stop. My question is, would there be further complications if I continue running? Because I am thinking the pain started because I haven't ran in a while and it is likely to subside if I continue, as my body will adjust Please guys, what do you think? Thank you in anticipation of your expert advice |

bigtalla: Personally, i find it that pant hose fits light-skinned ladies more than the darker ones (no offense meant).. So, if u are light-skinned, with a full fleshed straight legs, by all means wear a nice hose that blends with ur complexion for any interview... , panthose comes in a variety of shades, from really white to really dark. Darkskin can find a shade that suits them. |

Keneking: Like those ones form Arik Air Hostess, it looks so unbalanced and lacks poise. By the way, does that horse thing rolls to the waist or just the legs? Can someone wear it alone? Huh? How can something that hugs the skin look unbalanced? maybe you are talking about the choice of shoes? Only shoes can make a lady appear unbalanced. Also, some of em rolls up to the waist and some to the thighs. None stops at the legs. Yes, it can be worn alone for some bedroom tinz |

Gloriagee: In Nigeria, nah!!! U'll just come across as a wanna bee. Does wearing a business suit make you look like a wanna bee? Does improving yourself by acquiring a new skill that involves new technology that is not yet popular in Nigeria make you come across as a wannabee? Naah! You present yourself as one who knows what is professionally acceptable in line with global standards. Dubemkelly: Y not leave it 4 parties n oda social events? If u gonna wear dat,go 4 yhu skin blend Sir it is a corporate accessorie for ladies. Beync: This is nigeria. Our weather condition is quite different from that of the western countries. On a good sunny day, appearing in pant hose before ur interviewers will make one look funny. Beyonce, , it is not about the weather. It is about your professional image , I ask again, does wearing a business suit on a good sunny day make you look funny? obailala: I thought pantyhoses were suppose to be for cold climes?... Nigerians don copy copy sotee our girls will even wear pantyhoses under Sokoto sunshine of 45 deg celsius; I must be like oyibo, well thanks to Nairaland. Now you know better. Beaf!: Gbizy: If u re going to be wearing them as the ladies in the above pics have done,u go right ahead girl but if u don't have the ones that perfectly compliment ur skin tone its better u play safe and not wear it so u will not end up looking like a...... |

Wrong! Very wrong! You MUST make exceptions during interviews because you DO NOT get to make first impressions twice! Taking time to look exceptional shows you pay attention to personal grooming and image, it is an endearing quality that would leave a memorable first impression 1 Like |

I think it is a display of gross indiscipline to accept goods from someone and not pay at the agreed date! I can't even understand why employees especially those bank staffs do such! As far as I am concerned it is lack of contentment and the greed to keep the pace of living a false life! Someone said, why try to affect his job? Well, wasn't he also trying to affect her business negatively? Agreed, she should have implored some diplomacy but some people do NOT respond to diplomacy. At least she involved his senior colleagues before bringing in the police. And oh, if it was my place of business, I wouldn't throw her out. I will simply give her the money and deduct it from his salary! Next time he wants to look good on loan, he should remember he has dependants and prioritise! 2 Likes |

Naanxie, trust me, they always look nice and very professional. Blank, your friend must have worn the really dark ones. Since the disparity with her skin tone was very obvious, they probably found it unappealing. That is why I said choose the colour that perfectly matches your skin tone. The only difference that can be spotted is that your legs look flawless. As for your observation about pantyhose being outlawed in Nigeria, babe not true. |

Really? do you wear suits? The problem with most of us is that we like to play 'safe'n like to conform to the norm. Just because you aren't used to something doesn't make it unacceptable. Anyways, depends on the kind of interview and organisation. If you want to stand out, you'd pay as much attention to your looks as you would your resume |

When you wear your exact shade, not those funny looking dark pantyhose, flashing fair legs worn by light skinned ladies. I think they make ladies look professional, not forgetting the perks of hiding those unsightly scars and stubborn hairs just as I prefer skirt suits and corporate dresses So what do you think? Pantyhose to interviews/business meetings? |

Okay, really great to meet you and even more exciting that you are a protege of Christ. I appeal to you to let Him defend you, announce you, honor you and fight for you because really by choosing to fight your battles yourself you act in ways that contradicts His ways. Really, if you are a taught of Him, you are not on the same pedestal with artistes who do not glorify him, you are like the city set on a mountain top that cannot be hid, why then do you belittle yourself by comparing and having to proove that you are better? Do not mean to preach bro. but I respect grace when I perceive it |
