Ooni: my brother, so after Ibos disgraced us with real pictures of Ibadan in the other thread you rushed create this. Of course we will be disgraced here again because Enugu and PH are good places. The truth is that we are not doing well here in the west. I told u guys ibadan is terrible and not presentable. If we dont do something about it, only witch doctors and Night flyers will inhabit our regional capital in next ten years. lol I Like this guy, every city has slums don't feel terrible pls |

meccuno: I am Currently in PH. Have always wanted to visit enugu. My cousin who has stayed very long in these two cities say enugu is more beautiful than PH. And am wondering, what can be more beautiful? PH is the way it is because of the oil companies situated in the state. If not, it would probably be like bornu state if there are no oil companies then it wouldn't have been a one city state and God would have embed in it another natural resource to raise it's profile. |

It's difficult to get a genuine verdict, igbos will keep claiming their's is the best and vice versa. An anambra bigot told me yesterday that awka is more developed than Ph which is laughable. |

mrvitalis: Was born in Port Harcourt, schooled in UNN, I know both city Very well and this my conclusion
Enugu is better planed, the only place planed in pH is the old township
Road network s enugu anyday, thank God for ameachi if not Port Harcourt roads were a mess, he did alot yet not upto enugu
Economy, Port Harcourt is light years ahead of enugu
Social life, bros leave am enugu win am, but pH try sha
Beauty, Enugu is naturally beautiful, most people shouting calabar have not really been to enugu, been to calabar many times and can say authoritatively that owerri and enugu beats it in terms of arrangement and beauty PH try sha. .. But way back in the line The truth is that pH was never designed to be a big city it was supposed to be a Port city to serve enugu
So in all enugu win am ooh I thought Abuja was the only planned city in Nigeria |
Politics › Re: Port Harcourt Vs Enugu Which Is More Developed? by Spiff20(op): 6:18am On May 23, 2016 |
Cjrane2: Oga Op, Instead of asking lame questions here, Enugu is only 2 hours away from PH. Infact peace Mass transport will charge you N500-1,000 naira for the trip. So why can't you go there? Instead of asking people who have NEVER been to PH nor Enugu to compare? am in school in calabar, so i should just wake up one morning, bring out a whooping sum of #2000 and travel to enugu for sight-seeing? Nah, that's not wise, something has to take me there. |
Politics › Re: Port Harcourt Vs Enugu Which Is More Developed? by Spiff20(op): 12:19am On May 23, 2016 |
Adaure4ever: There is no need for this dumb comparism. Enugu is secured, peaceful, less/no traffic, has one of the 3 best road networks in Nigeria, greenery, Beautiful estates, well planned streets, clean environment, Less Noise, Serenity, No/little flooding after rain. Etc O42 is a class. PH is okay but its unorganised to me with heavy traffics, flooding after rain and insecurities here and there, high cost of living, Sodom and Gomorrah center of Nigeria etc.. okay so there's no flooding in enugu when it rains and people can actually sleep with their doors open? Umm pls go through those benchmarks i made for the comparison, cos i think you mistook ph for calabar which in my opinion calabar is more serene, safe, has less trafic, little/no flooding, clean environment, lots of greenery(off my hat for them) and well planned streets too lined with boulevards. |
Politics › Port Harcourt Vs Enugu Which Is More Developed? by Spiff20(op): 11:44pm On May 22, 2016 |
So i've heard alot about Enugu being so developed, planned, beautiful and all, but i've never been there. I've lived in Port Harcourt for almost half of my life, seen sea ports, airports, stadiums, few high rise buildings, lots of banks, eateries, hotels, industries, refineries, bridges, road networks, gardens a massive population generating traffic and so many attributes of a bustling mega city. So am just curious to ask and please this goes to those who have lived in both cities, with all this things i've mentioned, is Enugu more developed than Port Harcourt?
Btw: some even claim Enugu metroplis looks like lagos island. |

Romance › Re: I Just Met A Very Handsome And Intelligent Nairalander by Spiff20(m): 10:18am On Mar 19, 2016 |
Jadekitana: Can you imagine? Every disappointment is indeed a blessing. While I was seriously sad about my Boss sending me on a yeye official errand I never knew I was gonna meet a very intelligent nairalander
I got to the firm and was told to wait at the reception that their Almighty boss was in a meeting with someone. I was there for over an hour and was getting really impatient when this tall handsome guy walked in. Think he came to Audit the firm cos the receptionist called him Auditor. He went to drop his bag and came back to gist with the ladies,he was very jovial.
After sometime he turned to my direction and was like "that frown isn't good at all" put a smile on your face, its too early in the day to be frowning like that. I didn't know when I shouted i'v been waiting here,i'm tired already. The next thing I heard was "Endtime tiredness" I was trying to recollect were I'v read that phrase then I remembered twas Nairaland. I became interested in the fellow instantly! No need beating around,i asked if he was a nairaland member,he said he's a guest but I didn't believe him. I suspect he's Thesonofmark though he had beards, full beards.
We gisted about the forum, romanceland especially! He said he doesn't visit romanceland, he only checks career, autos, celebrity and pet because of his dogs. The guy was neat, cute, jovial very very intelligent as we talked about auditing which I plan on getting a professional qualification in. I didn't release my contact because I suspect he's a popular guy here but doesn't wanna disclose that.
If you know you the Auditor I met this morning @ prince Amadi's firm in Oniru, I know you would see this either as a guest or member I don't care, you better be sincere so we can be friends. I still need to learn a lot about auditing from you and a lot of other things pm me! We can still meet at BLD on admiralty way, lunch is on me! so what happens to phyno now? |
