And lest i forget, i don't like them copying american movies...they don't even improve on it.

example, Butterfly on a wheel. They acted it in South Africa...gosh, i felt like breaking my screen

Caracta: I also find people who have ruled out "change" and choose to be static, exceptionally dumb (really, no offence)...because i can't understand why people love to get tied down to a particular trend and be completely "un-informed" about what is happening on the other side of life.
They forget we learn from the minute things we see.

Nevertheless, it's just my humble opinion cool
ruled out change? lol...i have cousins who watch it and i can tell you, they're highly updated.
My problem with them is not the acting, i actually watch very old foreign movies with very poor scenes.
My problem is always the story line and the ideas they portray.

Do you know that nollywood movies have a direct influence to people's way of life. Now imagine what will be a novice doom when he makes his assumptions/decisions from a wrong ideology being portrayed by a poorly researched movie.

Trust me, i've seen, first hand, it's effects.

Nevertheless, it's still my humble opinion wink

Seriously though, i find people who watch Nigerian/Ghanaian movies (with passion) somehow dumb. (really, no offense)
I can't sit down and watch movies that doesn't teach anything worth learning, or a well researched info movie.
You see sooo many stupld mistakes and non-reality stuffs being portrayed.

When am talking about non-reality, i don't mean fiction, i mean things that are portrayed the wrong way.

Nevertheless, It's just my humble opinion cool

They've already been banned to move at night.
Like the FG, you have no clue of what you have to do. You didn't do any research, you just opened a facebook page and twitter profile because you think you can without considering the conditions of the oppressed.

1. Repair the federal roads.
2. Motor Licensing officers give "road worthiness" to people without seeing the cars in question.
3. Drivers should tend to their cars (especially brakes) every morning.
4. FRSC is a failed system. The blood of most accident victims are on their head.

manny4life: True, they are good in STEM courses but not as much as Africans, Nigerians to be precise. After the U.S. Census in 2010 abi 2011, the Bureau released a report that Nigerians are the MOST advanced educated immigrants in the U.S., and most importantly, they have advanced degrees particularly from STEM courses.
This is very correct but the problem is innovation.
We're mainly after the degrees and certification while they go for physical impacts.
Please abeg, they're not that smart.
It's the silly stereotype that puts them at an advantage over all else.
When someone is bring told that they're smart, they'd do nothing but try to be smart. Psychological conditioning.
These ppl are as smart as everyone else, they just try harder because that's what society prime them to do.
A lot of them study at the last minute.
I'd say there are MORE smart Africans than Asians.
i smell jealousy grin

Nevertheless, those guys are naturally on a mission to conquer (science)...that's just the differience

Programming › Re: Where Are The Flex Developers in Nigeria? by spikesC(m): 12:19pm On Apr 26, 2013
Javanian: It was NEVER a debate. I wanted to meet flex developers. Thats all! I am not the type that knows how to argue. Talk is cheap. In all the blabbing none of them apart from webdezzi even mentioned a SINGLE downside of flex. And i disagree with webdezzi on the size issue. I think its a quite a while he checked out flex
Easy! Easy! Easy!
We're not fighting yet.
You didn't just want to meet flex developers, you insinuated that anyone who is not yet using flex is a dinosaur grin

If you are a mobile app developer or an aspiring mobile app developer and you dont use Flex yet then seriously something is wrong with you
If after reading this you don't open a new tab, type google.com and search for Adobe Flex tutorials then you are maaaaad, very maaaad, yes you, i said you are mad and very soon you would join this creatures wherever they are
Talk is cheap, but accurate display of intelligence is very costly cool

Meanwhile, most of them gave you the "downsides".
