This is the Lagos International trade fair 2013.The 2013 Lagos International Trade Fair is organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce & Industry.

As you can see it involves mostly foreign companies selling their goods to Africans while Africans dance and jest for them, not realising the company they're dancing for is probably owned and run by their age peers of other nationalities

The general state of Black Economy is one of CONSUMPTION we hardly produce any large scale goods or services like cars, electronics etc. however guess which race is most addicted to high end tech toys? yes the Black race.

I don't think a victimisation/racism (Oh the white man made me unproductive) can be blamed here. I think our mindset should be blamed....

We simply have to start thinking about how we can be a money making race; an industrious race; and a technologically advanced race.

I think we should all seek or create an African made alternative to every item or service we purchase from now on.

Many of us are industrious entrepreneurs and i advise these to think global....I urge Black millionaires in America to invest in factories and real estate in Africa.. let's build a GLOBAL BLACK ECONOMY!

Black cars, bikes, factories, oil rigs, computers made with NO white or asian fingers involved in the processes - from the raw material stage to the production and packaging stages right down to marketing stage this is my dream.

Black people must help each other to establish credible governmental institutions so that corruption - which is a tool of non Black Big business - can be stopped in African nations.

Science/TechnologyA Clearer View Of The Eclipse From Nigeria (VIDEO) by spinna(op):
A rare solar eclipse allowing a view of the Sun blocked by the Moon has taken place in some parts of Nigeria.

The partial eclipse was also reported in other parts of Africa, including Kenya, as well as in eastern North America and southern Europe.

However many observers complained that they were not able to observe the eclipse properly due to the glare from the sun and cloudy/rainy weather. Indeed this made some to be skeptical and doubt the reality of the occurrence of the natural phenomenon.

As experts warned looking at and taking pictures of the sun directly can be dangerous to both the eye and the camera.

The video below shows the eclipse through a SOLAR FILTER which is designed to reduce the dangerous glare which makes it difficult to look at or clearly photograph the sun. The video shows the sun as a bright ball and the moon as a dark shadow passing the sun. The blue sky is made a dark colour by the filter.

A solar eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when the moon passes between the sun and the earth and partially blocks the sun.

Music/RadioRe: Davido - Skelewu (directed By Moe Musa) by spinna: 12:28am On Oct 22, 2013
This was nice but somehow doesnt live up to the legendary nature of skelewu ...the original with davido on a car captures the spirit of the song best... probably they should have done the same concept of several guys girls and cars in Nigeria.

It was interviews with Nigerian girls that recently removed their weaves.

CultureRe: Are Using Of Weaves A Sign Of Black Inferiority Complex? feat. Uncle Ruckus by spinna(op):
Yes and the weaves do damage as seen in the video. I think the weaving styles like that in your pic above will eventually come back because even white women look good in them.

I mean isn't it ridiculous to see girls hitting their heads with the butt of the of hands as if their brains have blocked?

But i'm not beefing; they do look good in them, i would just say that the stigma against the African weaving style - (the notion that it's only for school girls) should be removed.

Speaking to 2 Nigerian women on the very controversial topic of their hair.
Nairalanders what are your thoughts on this issue in this time of N200,000 brazilian/peruvian weaves that are changed every month or so?
