https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2Nw08VNi24 High Performance Motorcycle riders in Nigeria have it tough because Nigerian drivers are crazy. (Even in this video one tried to run me over) I met Afolabi and his friends at a Lagos Mall called Shoprite. Also met a female biker called Amaka, she's the one walking away at the end. |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OOcJpX8YQ3M The event was Sandra Okagbue's salon launching. I think these two beautiful Nigerian girls were guests of her brother Chris Okagbue, very beautiful specimens no? African women are the most beautiful women in the world! |
Caseless2: are u sure?yes.. if africans had mastered gunpowder, sailing, writing of history etc. would any white man have come to enslave us? Till today how many know the science of gunpowder talk less of how to produce it. |
Caseless2: Na oyibo people you go warn. Wetin wan take me enta sea go swim? Wetin concern blackman with going to the sea to swim? Left to us all wild animals (both on land and sea) should be killed and none left to be filmed for animal documentary on NATGEO WILD.And das why oyibos rule the world and we are "slaves"... because we dont explore and have dominion over nature like whites do. |
The Panamera and Maserati came to my mind b4 i opened the post...think i saw the Jag in V/i yesterday.... nice thread |
Sparrow13: In the beginning, when God created the universe, The earth was formless and desolate. The raging ocean that covered everything was engulfed in total darkness, and the spirit of God was moving over the water.Yes, the philosopher and the scientist struggle to climb the mountain and find the Christian peacefully waiting for them. God is the ultimate source of all wisdom...of all ...period. Oh LORD! how wonderful, how marvellous are your works...in wisdom have you made them all. The Earth is filled with thy wonders! |
Blue hammer ..whew that was close! (hate following crowd) ![]() |
Nice one the "red" era of tyrannical military rule and the present "sky blue toned" democracy. Yes indeed democracy is good for Nigeria. Now you can dream and see your dreams come true, not like before when your dreams were burnt and stamped out into their own ashes by military jackboot. Indeeed this is what democracy is:the freedom to dream, the freedom to strive for a better life. Linda is living her dream, Seun is , you are, we all are. It may not be perfect but appreciate it... theres full blown horrific wars in many other places. So let me say Thank You for showing us the beauty of our democracy in comparison to the past eras Our democracy is far from perfect, but lets cherish and protect it as much as possible as we consider the alternative of red eras coming again. A wonderful painting although you need to work a little bit on your likenesses |
KIDNAPPED NIGERIAN GIRLS BEING USED AS BOMBERS!?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vKyH6W7Mp6I The Kano Bomber was said to have been running towards the police...was she running for help and the bomb detonated. If so then any raid to rescue them makes sense so that they will have have a fighting chance. BRING THEM BACK NOW! |
Ucbiu: Now d south south ppl can see how does boko haram killed innocent Muslim in Aminu Kano College of Islamic & legal studies were d student are absolutely muslims no single christian , plz ma brothers in d south stop criticizin us, acusin us, and abusin us and our religion while dis thin is affectin us too.I dont comment much but THIS is what many of us fail to see or understand, you cannot take the evil brush that is bh and use it to paint all northerners or muslims...in case u guys dont know the north is a very beautiful and important part of Nigeria. We cant continue shouting lets break up because of terror..The chief victims of bh are the northern muslims All this believe or not are ARAB EXPANSIONIST POLICY in action. As they successfully got Sudan to erupt into religious war with the supporters of APC now they seek to destroy Nigeria with BH.. But they will fail and it is THEY who will die and this evil they ring will find its way back to them soon Dont let BH make us hate each other..Northerners also ask their leaders to should refrain from antagonistic politics. The north and also the south also needs more and better education - You see according to the ARAB INVASION POLICY when the country divides the Muslim half becomes a n extension of the arab territory.. and then the final cleanse of the blacks slowly till it becomes an arab land e.g egypt, algeria, tunisia etc...all African countries but bereft of blacks...and it was not formerly so That bh is not from any where in 9ja is is proven by the randomness of victims of terror in the North . "we must be together unity is the black mans only hope" My brother Ucbiu take heart and be safe.... let us continue to build and nurture this democracy which gives us the beautiful gift of free speech Nairalanders please use this gift well and let us speak LIFE and LOVE into this nation not death and hate. .North should emphasise rule of law over religious law as Nigeria is a secular state. (this doesnt mean a lowering of moral standard) We must open our eyes to see our real enemy - Arabs are using religion to manipulate and undermine Black Africa. North should not allow Arabia to deceive them to fight war with the south . May all their evil plans be turned against their own heads and lands in Jesus name note : N and south Sudan are still at war after their breakup |
Yeah ditch tribal marks its barbaric .... but feel free to tattoo, pierce and stud as you like... you can even be gay ... white people do it so it must be civilised ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13adasQYctM i look forward to a resurgence of this culture ...maybe in form of non permanent tatoos or just drawing the markings for occasions. this is what makes us who we are. ![]() |

TRIBAL MARKS OF THE YORUBA PEOPLE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13adasQYctM The Yoruba people (Yoruba: Àwọ̀n ọ́mọ́ Yorùbá) are an ethnic group of southwestern Nigeria and southern Benin in West Africa. The Yorùbá constitute over 35 million people in total; the majority of this population is from Nigeria and make up 21% of its population, making them one of the largest ethnic groups in Africa. The majority of the Yoruba speak the Yoruba language Tribal or facial marks are specific marks, which come in different shapes and sizes, commonly found on the face. There are various tribal marks, by different ethnic groups within Yoruba nation. The Ijeṣa people are known by "pele." Pele, is a-four-horizontal-line; a-quarter-of-an-inch-long made on the cheeks on both sides of the mouth. The Ondo natives of (Ondo State) are identified by half-an-inch-vertical lines on both sides of the nose down to the mouth (marks are thick and long). Other Yoruba ethnic groups have different types of facial marks; Ogbomoso natives of (Oyo State) are identified by multiple straight and curved lines (Gombo) on both sides of the face. Other sub-groups within Yoruba nation have only curved lines on both sides of their face. Even, a particular mark, may have varieties among neighbors; for instance, Pele has about three versions: Pele Ijesa (discussed) Pele Ekiti (quarter-of-an-inch-horizontal-line) and Pele Akoko (about the same length, but comes in either vertical or horizontal format); the style will depends on Akoko by Ekiti, Bini and Okun neighbors. The purpose of facial marks in the past was to identify each group within Yoruba nation, to beautify, and to identify slaves. Please comment, share and subscribe

ok thanks... i didnt notice the accent, is it from black guy or yellow guy? I did notice the few fake punches. What about the original question? |
This is just a freestlyle fight scene we shot with a cheap camera...what do you think of this compared to a typical Nollywood flick fight scene (gidigbo) better or worse? There have been recent statements made by Nollywood practitioners that the industry is dying due to predictability and boring-ness . so .. better or worse and other critiques...my bp vest is on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVGndIZApUI |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIah-E9M7tc Can this ever happen here in Nigeria? A politician being investigated for escessive spending? A 47-year-old provincial politician was rapidly becoming an internet phenomenon in Japan on Wednesday after crying as he tried to explain his profligate use of public funds. Television chatshows carried looped footage of a press conference in which Ryutaro Nonomura wails and bangs his fists on the desk as tears stream down his face. He shouts incoherent excuses in between gut-wrenching sobs, punctuated by the long intakes of breath necessary to power the next outburst. Nonomura, who was elected to the assembly in Hyogo in western Japan in 2011, is suspected of misusing ¥3m (£17,000) of official allowances. According to media reports, he spent the money on 195 trips he made to four locations in one year, including 106 visits to the same hot spring resort, all without producing a receipt or a report. During the three-hour press conference in Kobe he cried while saying: "I finally became an assembly member … with the sole purpose of changing society … This Japan … I want to change this society … I have staked my life … Don't you understand?" |
