Celebrities › Re: We Must Celebrate Ayodele Before Olajumoke - OAP Freeze by spiralwedge(m): 1:50pm On Feb 28, 2016 |
Olodo, wailing wailer.
Why didn't he invite Ayodele to his radio show for a start and probably give half his salary to him for one year... Others will follow.
TY gave her all for Olajumoke to be where she is today. She gave her time, money, personnel and other resources. She made her a charitable project that, according to her, made her fulfilled. Well, that's a whole lot of difference.
The point is that difference can be made by the action of one person (and not by ranting or wailing). |

Only after you are done with the interview should you check your phone and then call your office giving any reason that is best appropriate. |

tolulakin: I have been so bothered by the way some people have turned her story to their prayer points in recent times....I kept asking myself, are Nigerians this foolish? I cannot swallow such, I had to speak out! You sound more stupid to me and a killjoy. You sound like a frustrated person who will never appreciate anything good. I have the feeling the good news about a drastic turn of events gets you mad, especially as it beats your imagination why anything good should go to somebody else and not you. |
Celebrities › Re: Let's Stop This Folly - The Bread Seller Story Is Fake! by spiralwedge(m): 7:32pm On Feb 20, 2016 |
tolulakin: As mouth-watering as the TY Bello/Jumoke Bread Seller, Photobombing story sounds, there are lots of common sense facts that point to the fact that TY Bello is just pulling a fast one on us.
I have always had one understanding of our world and especially our nation. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is too good to be true. I will bring up three or four facts that make me really convinced that this bread seller story is not only a publicity stunt, but it is as well a major fool-the-public drama that TY Bello just used to get into all our heads!
1. Will a bread seller look so good? in the selfie she took with TY Bello, olajumoke was looking so cute that one would begin to wonder if she had been doing facial treatments all her life. But then, what do I know?
2. All of a sudden, she became a MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER! How foolish can we be? Just all of a sudden, a programme was to be held in Abuja and olajumoke was invited as the MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER....yes, SPEAKER! The topic was 'If we were the government'... So I asked myself, was she so educated before or did she become a motivational speaker just by virtue of being lucky or someone is just playing a simply stupid fast one on us?
3. Anybody who saw the picture where she allegedly photobombed the Tinie Tempah shoot will probably believe with me that she was a little bit overdressed to be a bread seller. She looked so good I began wondering, did she really photobomb this shoot or was she made up before the shoot?
4. So I heard Sujimoto gave her a house, STANBIC gave her an endorsement deal etc.... For what did a young lady who just got lucky deserve all these publicity and attention? For being lucky? Or for being a recipient of a TY Bello miracle? I guess we should expect an endorsement deal for the young man E-Money just gave a car and cash to if that is the way to deal!
You can call me as many names as you want for my non-conformist ideas....truth is, it will not change my belief that all these PR moves by TY Bello involving Olajumoke are ways of fooling our collective reasoning. I am certain even Basketmouth shares my views....maybe that explains his recent jokes about Olajumoke....he just wanted to tell us we are all being fooled in his usually funny way!
Y'all can keep getting fooled, Olajumoke will not become a prayer point for me for even a minute! Your folly and bad belle are incurable. I knew how it all started...and TY of all people is credible. |
Celebrities › Re: Peter Adeosun: I Don't Like The Olajumoke, The Bread Seller Turned Model's Story by spiralwedge(m): 4:26pm On Feb 20, 2016 |
I have something to say about all these.
I am an ardent follower of TY on instagram and I happen to see that very picture where the girl appeared and how she wished she could locate her, and how the instagram followers encouraged her and the rest is history.
My opinion: There's nothing wrong to be favoured, or be outstanding, especially if you did not lobby for it. And yes, there's appreciate that U-turn that has happened to that girl and wish same for oneself.
HOWEVER, favour or whatever you call it would not smiled on her if she was at home idle. She was unashamedly doing the little she could to earn income to support herself and her baby (she was separated from her hubby at that time). This is the real lesson and this is what I like about her story. I'm sorry to disagree with the op. He speaks from both sides of the mouth.
Like I said, the real lesson is to get home early in the morning and start your hustle so that you won't beg before you eat and don't be ashamed. That's how it is abroad.
If favour comes, fine... If it doesn't come fine... Just continue to hustle and maybe, be content to a level. |

Amberon: we have a very similar situation. My bf who happens to be my best friend persisted and disturbed me for years, I finally gave in but I don't love him one bit. The thing is that he's crazy about me, before we started dating we'd sleep over at each other's houses a couple of times but he never touched me nor asked for sex. up till this day, he hasn't asked me for sex.
he's cute, dresses very very very well, neat and treats me like an angel. I told him countlessly that I didn't love him and couldn't date him but he came back begging and vowed that he must marry me. He even told everyone that we're engaged....
Anyways I made a promise to stick with him even tho I don't love him, after all the one I used to love didn't treat me well.
PS: before someone starts saying sh!t, I'm not dating him for money. I know I won't fall in love again, so I gave in simply because he loves and cherishes me, he's purpose driven and has good qualities which so many men lack. he also advises me like a sister. Please don't open thread after he finally weds someone else. Your mumu get part 2. I dey pity u already smh. |

What's all these hypes all about?
YOU LOOSE, YOU VACATE THE SEAT? what's so wonderful about that?
He even shot himself in the foot by saying he had other reasons for vacating the seat. He makes a fool of himself, proving further that a black man can hardly relinquish power once he has it.
WHAT HE SHOULD BE SAYING IS THAT HE RELINQUISHED POWER BECAUSE HE LOST THE ELECTIONS. That's what the civilised world wants to celebrate. |

tpiaobsession: they're actually not as tall as Nigerian cows although they have more flesh on them being the European breed -friesian. (Western cows are bigger but not taller than Nigerian ones).
The friesian breeds also yield more milk compared to Nigerian cows which are not solely dairy cows but used for consumption. Tse tse fly wont make it possible here. Unless, parts of middle-belt susch as the Plateau area is used for mega large scale diary farm. |

ogaprime: If they suffering, do everything to get help but don't destroy things...now the news of their protest is all over and must have gotten to the state government. That's little step to success, am sure they have written countless letters to all authorities. So let them protest which ever way they want to protest just to get the attention of people concerned shaa don't destroy things... You are wrong. You protest by going to get the attention of people who can help solve your problems, not by creating nuisance to innocent commuters. Your logic is same as that of a terrorist. A terrorist disturbs the peace of others (innocent unconcerned people) to get attention to themselves. Are you an ex-militant? |
