Its simple. AVIATION will be an agency in the new ministry. This is the one of the best reforms happening in this new Nigeria and people like this man will be provoked. Thats what change does, it drags you along if you are reluctant or cant adapt. |

Politics › Re: British Remembrance Day Service Held In Abuja by spiralwedge(m): 11:59am On Nov 10, 2015 |
apoti: I have been thinking about this for a while. The British observe Remembrance day, Americans observe veteran and memorial day, the French and others observe armistice day.
Why can't we have a day in Nigeria to observe our fallen heroes, people who fought for our independence, the soldiers and civilians who lost thier lives during the civil war (both on Nigerian and Biafran sides), people brutally killed fighting for democracy during the military era. The list goes on.
If we are serious about building a united nation, we should remember and pay our respect to these ones. Just my thought. YES. We have Remembrance Day every January. |

jonnywaka: My brother dont worry, no Igbo man or woman will wear sucide vest and blow himself or herself up, they are to money and self conscious to do that. If they could they would have won the war in 1969 to 1971.
I have read the comments here waiting for an intelligent Igbo person to articulate their grievanc, I have read none but the insults from Alaba boys who sit in Lagos and Abuja and jare online for Biafra. No Igbo man who is out protesting and planning for Biafra will have time to be making comments online insulting people. Majority of those commenting here are not even in the East.
No nation state that want to pull out of Nigeria should be stopped from doing so.
We have seen too many of these agitations before and its beginning to irritate well meaning young Nigerians. Please call out your Igbo elite to negotiate your freedom from Nigeria and stop wasting time. This is the time for Biafra to lead the way and if its good for them maybe other nation state will follow.
I expect insultive reactions to this comment now. Truth is bitter and no one wants to hear it so they resort to insults instead.
Carry on guys, may God bless your agitation. God bless you. I dont understand why they have to insult or undermine other people to achieve goals. Do they expect others to give them roses like that? If you and I are into partnership, do you slap me because you want to pull out and expect me to just accept it... Just like that |

mazeltov: The protest is not even my concern, my concern is the irresponsible way they have been spamming in the political section on nairaland. I'm not against any tribe, biafra or whatever they call themselves but for God's sake, they should at least titrate modesty and decency into what they are doing. They are constituting nuisance here on nairaland and if care is not taken, this might in one way or the other, affect the quality and growth of this platform. If Seun is reading this, please you and your moderators need to act fast and do something to checkmate this activities of these overfed and underfed kids or else it would erode the quality of service on this platform. Thanks I agree with you totally |

@kanwuliajara At op, the younger generation is worse and myopic. Brainwashed by their parents, they are often naive especially if they are not born n bred in either Lag or Abuja. Kanwulia discriminates too, especially against Yoruba. Now to add my own stereotyping, Ondo generally discriminates, even against their Yoruba kinsmen. So dont just go there. Ondo or Ekiti rarely marry from Ogun and Lagos states.. They are civilization apart from one another. |

Im sure its one of those houses built in the ditches and canals in that area. For heaven's sake, why would anyone build structures where water, heavy ones will pass? Not in this our tropical environment, especially in theirs near River Ogun. What kind of govt approves/fails to demolish such houses as a prevention? We dont value life in this clime. I dont get it.. Is it not the same cement and block they use in Mowe or Agege that would be used there? Why then build in a ditch... Na so land scarce? |

Most of the posters here are naive. Instead of staying back to learn or just pass, you spend a lot of energy thrashing the op.
He is simply asking a question that bothers him.. Do you have the answer or not? If you don't, get d fvck outta here.
@op, i hope you get a professional answer. However, i do know that on waking up early in the morning, so much waste is ready to be expelled from the body, such as urine, gas, excrete. This is due to digestive activities over the night. Nevertheless, these accumulated wastes do fight for space and may further push one another out at the same time. You might want to work on the gas by watching what you eat for dinner and taking antacids. Foods such as egg, beans, carbonated drinks cause a lot of gas. |

The fact that it's a campaign promise doesn't mean they have to be stupidly obliged. The first step is to ensure a proper computerised database is compiled. |

edwife: You don't seem to have an idea of what you are talking about.First of all do you reside outside Nigeria?
Secondly, why will a child in primary school starts school by 9 am and return home by 6 pm after spending time in Afterschool club bring changing clothes. So a change of clothes will relax you? after 6 pm they have their shower and go straight to bed after a glass of milk.Thank you.
Do you think you know better than the British system regarding the welfare of children?Things here are done with the approval of the government and please go google afterschool club.
I don't talk about my personal life here and it would have been easier if i could elaborate more. I can't answer any of your questions because, like you, i dont reveal personal info. However, u sound like you think British system is superior. But have you asked why there are so many teen single parents, paedophiles, homosexuals and knife-stabbers in Britain? Even more than in Nigeria? And you think an after-school does it all for you? From what i understand you rarely have time for your children. They dont have a true sense of home.. What they know is a sleeping space (or bed and breakfast) where they at least get a glass of milk before they sleep and a sandwich in the morning. Nothing else. Perhaps they feel more at home at school/after-school club, where under the watch of CCTV (which you never watch or shown to you), your kids are fast being gradually abused right there with your superior British system. |
