Keep consoling yourself

The final straw that will break Tinubu corrupt back is when Kwankwaso and Obi merger happens
For una mind, Kwankwanso go agree to be Peter Obi’s VP? Yimu, Person wey get better structure pass LP. It won’t happen because that will be a political miscalculation for KWANKWANSIYA. I know this because I used to be part of the KWANKWANSIYA group in OYO state when Kwankwanso was in APC. Remember Kwankwanso only had problems with Ganduje but he’s highly respected in APC till date.

I fear more for what will become of most Igbos after losing with Obi than fear for them winning any election. By historical facts, antecedent, population and political relevance,.. this is another failed attempt as usual.

Igbos are still very far from causing any upsets to the two major political parties. Alliance must be formed and that too must have a strong followership across the country which is lacking,,

what we see now are bunch of online Biafra warlords turned pro Nigeria making noise by promoting an ethnic agenda that won’t see the light of the day. These are the people insulting people all over the place with contrary opinion or candidates to Obi. This attitude is demarketing by giving ethnic coloration more to the Obi movement.

Obi people are banking on PVC collection which they are just doing hurriedly and they are confusing turnout of people as vote cast for Obi. Soon Igbos will realize that they are the only one in the Biafra movement.

Wetin we dey talk wetin this one dey talk? Obi would even be worst than Buhari mark my words, only that he won't get there. The Igbos wey don rule Nigeria before wetin dem do? They are all part of the problems. Yorubas, Igbos, and Hausa politicians in any political parties are all thieves including your Peter Obi.

What we need is proper restructuring and not election...When you got your PVC, what role did you play in electing the candidates for each party... None. OBI without any single form of ideology, driven by avarice jumped ship from PDP and bought the presidential ticket of LP.

Tinubu and Atiku bought delegates to be able to represent their parties... So na one of these three people that bought their way to lead their party una wan use PVC vote for. GET YOUR PVC NA SCAM. I can understand the ethnic coloration for OBI, that doesn't make him better candidates, not even with his many half truth syndrome.

Shonekon and OBJ can't be one person na.. Also OBJ ruling in military and democratic settings can't be considered as once .. Are u still with me? .. Now since the fourth republic has there been any Igbo president?. I'm not saying it's the Igbo man's turn, but in the spirit of acceptance and one Nigeria igbos deserve a term..
Shonekan no be president Ooo. Obasanjo is the only president Yoruba have ever produced in a democratic settings. If you take it down to military era Igbo has one head of state in person of Aguyi Ironsi and Yoruba slot was occupied by OBJ.

Yes in the fourth Republic Igbos appeared to have been distracted by Biafra agitation far too much to position themselves properly. There is a reason why the two major political parties are not featuring Igbo Presidency, even though their non participation in the Republic put them at an advantage as a beautiful bride...apart from greed, other regions like the Yorubas are laying claim to the Republic again because Igbos didn't put on a real show early enough. More like Igbos started too little too late, you can see that in the rush for voters registration. Politics is about proper planning and positioning.

Buhari's ex-aide confession: Peter Obi a movement to beat in Kano, Katsina

30th June, 2022

Former aide to President Muhammadu Buhari on New Media, Bashir Ahmad has expressed fear over the growing popularity of the Labour Party’s (LP) Presidential candidate, Peter Obi in Kano and Katsina.

He said Obi alone is now a movement to beat in Kano and Katsina, saying he was amazed when he visited Kano at the weekend and was bombarded with Obi’s popularity.

Ahmad in a tweet said nobody is talking about other presidential candidates anymore except Obi.

He said a friend told him that it was a familiar story in Katsina, saying LP might get between 75 to 80 percent of votes in those states.

“Let me confess, the name Peter Obi alone is a movement to beat, I was in Kano over the weekend and to my surprise everywhere is PO, nobody is talking about other candidates anymore and a friend told me that it’s a similar story in Katsina. LP is getting 75% – 80% in those states,” he tweeted.

He added that a friend also just sent him a message that Obi is getting not less than 85% in Kaduna.

“Like I said he is everywhere in Kano and Katsina, so he doesn’t even have to waste his time to go to north west for campaign, his soldiers take over the region. An 80% victory is assured,” he said

Ashraf Babagana, re-echoed Bashir’s assertion, saying “It’s the same story in Gombe too. Everywhere is Labour Party and the topic of discussion for every group is Peter Obi. The movement started like a joke but it has gained momentum over time. It’s very possible for Peter Obi to win 80% of Gombe State if polls will be held tomorrow.”

Wonderful development...this is phenomenal even before campaign begins. Omo Obi don win bẹ dats grin grin grin

Why from 1970 na...lets be factual and not selective, since independence in a democratic setup, Igbos have had 1 President and 1 Vice President... Same as the Yorubas? Is there any marginalisation in any form here?

If you are uncouth, I will report you to the mods.
This is fact based enquiry and if you do not have data to assist me, please do not foul it up with uncouth words.

Here is a link to the recent data from JAMB and the tertiary institutions where Igbo dominate are very few and not even in the top 4 for universities or among top 8 for polytechnics or top 10 for colleges of education.
https://utmeofficial.com.ng/jamb/jamb-registration-statistics-2020-2021-by-course-universities-polytechnics-nce-and-state-of-origin/

This is a common thread for most data and this is a group we believe are the 3rd in population but always having very low numbers in most data collected across Nigeria.

It is no longer a coincidence when for every data collected, the Igbo have very low numbers. It is confirming that the actual population of Igbo is low and the numbers being bandied is inflated.
The real fact is that Igbos have been over estimating themselves and population all this while. The election results will shock them come 2023… they will tell you that they contribute to half of the population of any state in Nigeria.

The very fire you are stoking to consume your neighbor's house will soon xonsume your own. In what meritorious system is igbos and nigerdeltans not better than almajiris who just need to score less than 10 to get into unity school. Anambra, Delta, imo, Edo and cross river are the highest turnover for law schools. Look at the last three presidents of NBA all from SE/SS. Playing sectional politics may look beneficial now but it will end in doom for your tribe
The problem I have with lunatics like you is that you can't just make sense without been profoundly stupid and insultive... How dare you call me a fool and still don't make sense. Idiots like you don't know that they are consequences for betraying the Nigerian state.

You are reaping what you sow. When the Igbos tried to hijack power dominance through him, we collected our thing back from him. Igbos have always supported failed cause, any candidate they support na failure.

You cannot be unpatriotic and demand loyalty. Na stone una dey use as currency so na sand una go collect laslas. Werey dey disguise like better people. Una don cast since independence and after the civil war una stake for the nation don go on relegation.

Which kind victim mentality igbos get?
Do you see them wallowing in pity OR are they making/finding a way?

Do you see igbos begging government for anything for Biafran war?

Do you know what it is like for a brilliant mind to apply to university and be told "we have reached capacity for your zone"

Is waec/jamb scores lowered in the SE to compensate for this their "victim mentality"

You think if Nigeria ever becomes a society of capability not who you know or your tribe, you think the igbos will be against it??

That the North always holds the most sensitive positions in Nigeria is not a happenstance. To pretend otherwise is laughable

I don't know why calling a spade a spade means somebody is playing "victim"

Maybe it's better to lie
Well you were struggling to justify and deny the fact that Igbos continuous romance with the Biafra movement has it’s consequences as well. One of such is preventing them from holding sensitive positions…written or unwritten. This in fact has made it even more easy for Hausas to dominate.

You can’t continue to actively work for the destruction and disintegration of the Nigerian state and expect to have juicy and sensitive positions within such state. Igbos have been too unpatriotic to the Nigerian state in all ramifications to deserve unrestrained and full participation in governance in Nigeria.

This is the obvious and Igbos must realize this and work on it. Right now the Eastern part are actively pushing for arms struggle through IPOB for the actualization of Biafra and yet they also want Obi to rule as President of Nigeria. Naturally you can’t burn the candles at both ends and get good results.

Agreed there are presently government policies that deliberately put the Hausas as key benefactors of important positions, state largesse and undue privileges over other Nigerians, but Azikwe sold out everybody to Tafawa Balewa and Ahmadu Bello for preferring to align with the North instead of the West.

Obasanjo didn’t help by nationalizing everything the Western region laboured for, Like the NTA and Radio Nigeria to name a few.

You all should wonder why an Igbo never made the list from within yourselves and stop claiming marginalization against other tribes…that itself is a form of ethnic consciousness that will even make it more difficult. These positions don’t just drop on anyone’s laps to fulfill ethnic balance. A lot comes to play, of course ethnicity is also part of it.

They were times until 1999 when no Yoruba man in any democratic government in Nigeria ever for once attain the position President and Vice President since independence. Igbos attain this positions first. It’s not about dominating others, but what was brought to the table. Even with Awolowo and other big Yoruba politicians. Nnamdi Azikwe became Nigerian’s first President, then Alex Ekweme became Nigeria’s Vice President too.

It’s all about positioning and other factors that comes to play within the bench, government in power, relationship and the situation of the political setup during the period this judges were appointed. The victim mentality is becoming sickening, nobody will deliver a juicy position if you don’t work and fight for it..not even if you are an Hausa man or Yoruba, you must merit it within the contexts of political setups and relevance of the government.
