Prof Mahmud should be in Kirikiri |
kunleham:Bros, DISCOs are not your only problem. FG, generation, transmission all share in the blame but with the greater blame on FG. What magic can DISCOs perform with 4,000MW in a large country like Nigeria? The privatisation was not a 'sham' and I bet you, I don't see the Buhari govt revoking those licenses. The Vice President even said so. Revoking licences won't solve any problem |
aolawale025:You're right but I agree with the VP that discos should no longer be allowed to controlled territories. Of what use really handing over an entire Lagos mainland to IKEDC if they cannot service it properly? Recently, IKEDC went harassing a certain company that built power plant to provide electricity for their staff quarters insisting the quarters is within their territory. The company was given the option of either sourcing power from IKEDC or pay IKEDC before they could turn on their power plant. |
delpee:DISCOs will go bankrupt with prepaid meters in every home. The right legislations and judicial processes to deter power theft are not yet in place. In small Benin Republic, bypassing or other forms of power theft is a very serious offence with special courts and varying jail terms or huge fines for offenders. Power theft is one area the FG must address first before enforcing prepared meters in every home |
The drama will be so sweet |
Criminal INEC has no hiding place |
raumdeuter:Bro, I'm not Igbo. I don't have any biological relationship with Igbo I'm not speaking for Igbo Dragging Igbo into this matter and carefully painting the thread like a fight between Igbo and Yoruba is unnecessary |
@Kayfra & raumdeuter You guys appear filled with so much hate for IBOs, why? Will this country ever be united? Please, I am not from South East, not Igbo either. I don't know why every voice that opposes APC govt is suddenly termed Igbo. You have by your comments succeeded in painting my thread as a 'Yoruba vs Igbo' battle. This hate is too much na |
INEC are criminals |
kayfra:Lol, you ain't honest to yourself. Ekwueme contesting against OBJ in that PDP primaries was a mere formality. Nigerians already knew the power brokers had zeroed in on OBJ to compensate for Abiola/June 12. Ogbonaiya Onu actually won APP's presidential ticket at their Kaduna convention but was later prevailed upon to cede it to Chief Olu Falaye of AD because of this same Abiola/June 12. Onu graciously obliged even though APP then was much bigger than AD where Chief Falaye came from. You don't know history. Go and learn Cc: raumdeuter |
Na wao |
fairfora:So, the guy was already educated up to PHD level before going back to start medicine. That is like Ronaldo or Messi going back to play under 17 na. They will definitely shine |
Ekpeitit:So, who owns APC? |
And Buhari has borrowed over N11 trillion |
It terrible |
OK ... noted |
Ekpeitit:So, what about the South East APC members who have invested heavily in APC and have ambition to contest? |
Leo Igor did not return? Thisday reconfirm your story |
Aw |
Ekpeitit:Have you read Senate President's comments about conceding ruling party's ticket to SW because of Abiola? Such move automatically shuts out all other contenders from other zones |
Shikini:If you believe those guys have your interest at heart then you would believe anything |
Just a reminder to Senate President Lawan that the 1999 permutations that led to the then three biggest parties (PDP, APP & AD) surrendering their presidential ticket's to candidates of South West origin was in consolation to the zone for the annulment of June 12 presidential elections together with the trauma leading to the dead of especially the principal actor MKO Abiola and his wife Kudirat. Perhaps the above fact may have skipped Sen Lawan but suffice it to state that the emergence of Chiefs Olusegun Obasanjo and Olu Falaye as the major contenders in the 1999 presidential contest was not a coincidence. The then nations power brokers led by the mastermind of June 12 himself, Gen Ibrahim Babangida plotted the consolation. If not for MKO Abiola, then outgoing Head of State, Gen Abdusalami Abubakar, would have succeeded himself in the new democratic regime and nobody would have stopped him. So far, Nigerians are happy and pleased with President Buhari for his benevolence to the late MKO Abiola. His first son, Kola Abiola, granted an interview recently expressing satisfaction with FG's gesture so far. The late Chief MKO himself for sure will be happy in his grave with the posthumous recognition given to him lately. Whatever, Nigerians know about Sen Lawan's sponsors and their 2023 ambition. But, for god sake, can politicians please let the great MKO to now rest in peace? Their hypocrisy is becoming disgusting. After all, are they not the same characters that MKO's son, Kola Abiola, recently exposed as hypocrites who went kneeling, begging Gen Abacha for Lagos state commissionership positions but when that failed, they resorted to join NADECO's activism? Sen Lawan should please tell us another story. This particular one will not fly. - Splashme

greymiles:No sir, both! During Shagari's era, the North pulled Igbos closer and used them against Awolowo/South West Today, Buhari is using South West against the Igbo's and Yoruba's are happy and using it to make jest of Igbo's. Its all divide and rule |
This man has been asking very dumb questions since yesterday or so. The whole world knew about the militarisation of elections in SS and SE except him. The recent EU report even highlighted it yet, this guy was asking why there was low turnout in Rivers and Delta. Sen Ekwunife defeated Chief Umeh in 2015 only for the courts to later hand over victory to Chief Umeh on a plata of gold on the grounds that the PDP primaries that produced Sen Ekwunife was not properly constituted. In 2019, Sen Ekwunife as usual smashed chief Umeh in the just concluded senatorial election yet, this ZOMBIE (yes, I just noticed he is a ZOMBIE) was asking how Ekwunife could defeat Chief Umeh Now, it is about T.A Orji ... For your information, TA Orji has always been winning comfortably. In 2015 he won with 20k votes scoring 65k against 45k for APGA. In 2019 he widened the gap with over 25k scoring 55k against APC's 29k Please, Oga ... 1) Which state are you from? 2) How much do you know about constituencies in other states that you keep poking a nose on? 3) Why ain't you ever surprised that Ganduje, Oyetola and Buhari won reelections? |
Yyeske:Oga, I'm not from SE . I also know what I'm talking about There's a strong bond between these two sister regions and your opinion is irrelevant Their voting pattern should tell you |
drlateef:Read Kola's recent interview. He addressed that issue |
W |
Baba419:See ZOMBIE By their comment you shall know them |
Na wao ... South West, ki lode? Why allow these murderers ravage your land? The Fulanisation agenda that OBJ warned of may be real after all. Travellers are now deserting the ever busy Ibadan - Ife expressway for fear of banditry and kidnapping. |
In saner climes, Prof Yakubu should have long resigned |
So, Thiefñubu is a Hypocrite |
famouscargo4u:Most electorates are not literate ... yet, Ifeanyi Ubah of little known YPP party defeated the almighty PDP's kingmaker Chris Uba? |
