nwafresh: This is to inform everyone that a slack channel has been created solely for 9ja Transcribers[ both newbies and tenured] . Please endeavor to DM me on Slack [@Jude] so I can add ya'all. The group will be managed by myself and elantraceey. Thanks. Hmm.. maybe it's about time we asked for a review of the payment, cos it's gotten really bad recently if we are being honest. Since y'all have this kind of influence already, why don't we use it to at least try and make a difference. I believe Nigerians make a large chunk of the better transcribers on QA. And having her setup a thread for us is one of two things, either to monitor our activities lol , or admission that we are in fact some of their better transcribers on there. I don't know mehn.... 1 Like |

PattyMike: Agreed. We broke rules, no doubt. But then PayPal no concern u (Nigerian PayPal cannot recieve funds) u wan show muscle. That woman till get audacity abuse the whole country, "I know u have problems with electricity in ur country which is why u use phone, but if it works for u zip it (shut up). Two grown ass industrious men being told to Zip it, (shut the hell up). I know say one day all this one go turn story, e go turn "U remember when". For others, the sooner u free yourself of QA the sooner u will find bigger opportunities to make money. QA will take ALL ur time, u can never move forward. U will transcribe from January to December, morning till night, earn the same range of income (now it's even half than what u were making). Before u know it, year don end, u pay bills, pay rent, eat and that's it. You repeat the same circle all over and over again. It's good for surviving, but for how long will u keep surviving, when will u finally LIVE? Like it or not, I am speaking the truth. Transcribing can become a career but just not at QA, it's designed to make u remain a bottom feeder for as long as possible. Somebody said even the SCC are transcribers. U can NEVER grow on QA, switch up and grow, make more money and have that extra time for yourself. I swear if I didn't cut back on QA, I would never have seen new opportunities. No, no, no. This is the last straw, I will never ever give up my self worth and belief just for money. I know say I no go starve laye, God dey always take care of him own. Patty, care to share these other platforms you currently work on? Will help a lot of us here tbh. |

Kekereekun123: study route. They only want to sell your ebook. Chances of getting study visa is low for Nigerians and the finances required too. So these mofos keep making money from e book sales. Soft work Lol.. thanks. Was never going to buy the ebook anyway, just knew that there was def more to it, so I came to ask on here as I was very sure if it was really a thing, then folks here would know about it. Thank you. |

samsard: Even FC UK calls are now about $0.10 max if at all it's even up to. Below is a screenshot of my account someone is using. He has 255 minutes rated 4&5s. Only one there is even rated 4 and yet the earning is $19.45. Previously that would be $50 at least. At this rate, you'd need over 1000 minutes to earn $100, and then wait for a bonus of $22. You can't always get the best paying jobs even if you're being selective.
This is weird, cos I have earned a lot more than that, and I have done about 225, I think only about 215 or so are rated 4&5, and this is without the reservation thing. So he might be picking only American calls that are already well transcribed by AI or something. |

Who are those people biko? With this heartbreaking pay rate? Lol.. ikr Even with 600+ mins you're looking at around $80+ or thereabouts with this new payments system. But I think the message he was trying to put across is that these reviews come from people who live in more affluent countries, So to them it's slave labour, but to others in some parts of Asia and Africa, it can be decent, cos of exchange rates and stuff. |

Plus, prepare with your Laptop or desktop. Gotranscript transcription on phone na correct suffereness. But maybe all things are possible to those wet get the patience sha Yo, how far. Pls in the test file, when they say "this audio is used..." Do you need to transcribe that and attach speaker 1 to it, or just leave it out and focus on the single speaker on the audio. And then no time-stamp, so just one long transcript, no breaks. And what do you do after that auto voice( this audio....) comes in again between sentences. |

2. What's your max cash out?
3. Is it a legit site which won't trigger PayPal limiting of account?

You can write o'clock. There's an example there in the FAQ. But all mention of time must be in numerals. 12 o'clock, not twelve o'clock. Wrong bro, I never use o'clock, even when they say it, cos I was marked down months ago for time format, and since then I only use that format, works for me, hence why I told him that. |
