1. Firstly, I haven’t come across any university named Numbering university, attached screenshot is the payment plan for derby which is not 50% on or before enrollment. So how did you come with 50% on derby ??

It was obviously a typo, I knew what he meant immediately I saw it, and I'm sure many did too. Damn, you sound.like a 12 yr old that so desperately needs to win an argument. Lol.
Grow the Bleep up and stop with the unnecessary insults.

So if application fee were £100/school you'd gladly spend £500 which is almost 400k in black market rate for 5 schools.
How will you pay it?
Via Naija debit card.
Via Form A or
Via someone in the UK.

Maybe they should introduce application fee.

Humour me Nigerian.

You sound even dumber every time you make a comment. Lol. What's this?

I applied for nursing too to Plymouth in January and got a rejection 22nd
Then I aoplied to another course on the 4th

I’ve applied to some other schools since January too, no response
So maybe some schools and courses take so long
They say why you were rejected? What qualifications did you submit?

Definitely can’t get for this year, anytime next year…just any university that accepts international studentships for mental health nursing

You can still apply in Chester, I emailed the course advisor cos I was looking for info regarding MSc Nursing, and he said I can still apply, so you can check it out. But most are closed though. Personally, I'm looking at January/February '23.

You want to get double admission in a school?
Is that not greed?
Lol... How's that greed??
It's called giving yourself a better opportunity, schools are not against it, why would you?
After all, you can't accept both, it only helps your chances and gives you the luxury of choice.

You've been given an instruction yet you're willing to go against it! In all, it's your decision.

Na, you're not getting me.
It's not that I'm choosing to go against the rules or whatever, I just want to be sure it's not a trick way of eliminating people lol, cos at the bottom there they did say, if it exceeds....
Means it can be allowed??
It was just a bit confusing, the reason I asked.

Hi all
Please I got a conditional offer from London metropolitan university, they asking that I rewrite my sop and send ielts results. The sop isn't the problem, but gaskiya I don't have funds and time to write IELTS now.
Please what way can I go around this, should I send them an email with my waec results attached or maybe there's a better suggestion? Thanks

If you don't have the funds or time to write IELTS, then your best bet is to write the school and let them know you have done your BSc in English, get a letter from your school showing courses were studied completely in English and send WAEC result, this is acceptable in most schools from my research. If they don't accept this, then you'll have to write the IELTS or move on. Good luck.

Offers with placements (usually more than a year) will help you buy more time when your studies are over. However, the longer your course duration, the higher your IHS.

So, if you can afford the higher IHS fees, its advisable to go for the course with placements.

Yeah, I've been looking at schools with placement,, NTU in particular, the extra bit of "UK work experience" will give you an edge I think. And besides, from what I gather, even if you don't get a placement cos you'll only have to finish your course as a one-year program and switch your visa to fit that, so it's a win-win. But I still want to know, will you need POF for one or two years, cos of the extra year due to placement?

Greetings friends.
I want to know if:

1. Dependents can get visa on/with a Pre-masters/Top-up program applicant.

2. Does one have to present POF for the balance on school fee for the complete duration of the 2 years program after paying the deposit or is it for just the 1st year of study?
Please, can someone respond to this. cry

It should be 1year for those with BSc Nursing.

Those with BSc in science related courses can enrol for 2yrs MSc Pre-registration, One year is for foundational courses and 1year for MSc proper.

Aiight, thanks. Appreciate, guess I should be gunning for the two-year program.
But some of the courses I've seen say this in their general requirements...

"750 relevant clinical practice hours gained within the last 5 years, working in health related environments relevant to the course, for example hospitals, GP surgeries, nursing homes, hospices, and other community settings, including work as an Healthcare Assistant/ Nursing Associate/ Assistant Practitioner"

being that I don't possess this as I studied microbiology, what are the chances of getting in such programs. Although not all request this.

Ị year is for those with bsc in nursing. 2 years for those without. Both are eligible for NMC registration after graduation.

oh, so you mean even after the one year master's, I'll still go for that internship? Cos I'm seeing 2yrs and then one year, was just confused about what the big difference is, and the one that gives eligibility to register with NMC on completion of degree.

I hope you know the cost implication of doing a BSc in UK. The cheapest you can get is about 11000 to 13000 pounds. Check Wolvehampton, BCU e.t.c

For three years, it is 33000 to 36000 pounds.
Just wanted you to know.

Hi bro, you didn't understand me, lol... or I probably worded it wrongly. What I meant is that have a BSc in microbiology. Looking at MSc related to that field. Medical microbiology, public health etc...

Hi, new to this thread, but I've read through most of the comments here. Planning on applying for September intake too. BSc microbiology. Any pointers as to which schools are not that expensive, and offer CAS with the least deposit? I'll really appreciate your feedback, even though I'm currently doing my research on unis offering courses related to MCB. Thanks.

Hard facts.

The new variant is not helping matters plus they are still trying to have more people get the vaccine. At my Uni, they are still encouraging students to get vaccinated.

Bro, I'm already in the phase where I have all but given up, my school will resume on 15th of October, and it has to be in-person enrollment or forfeit. The future looks pretty bleak regarding meeting that date. We need a miracle at this point.
