LaMujer: e be like sey long calls better pass short calls. i have been running away from long calls and doing <4mins call.
make una no vex o, but wetin be the pro/con of doing long calls, asides the obvious time length?
i'm guessing the calls are clearer or something? or what exactly, i wan port with immediate alacrity From my own small experience. Longer calls are better, you'll notice that in "some" of those long calls there are lots of breaks as a result of placing callers on hold and stuff, plus there is more room to use the [...] For inaudibles, and more money Picked a 32 min Fc/ ,UK call and the total conversation wasn't even up to 15 mins, was done in no time, allowing me to do even more minutes per day than I usually do. |

jaywalker04: Tried out a 26 minute call. Worked it finish, since morning and I was waiting for my 5. Till I got a 2, this evening. The rating note didn't even make sense, see it in the screenshot below. I was wondering where I went wrong, decided to resubmit it just for the sake of trying, because I was tired. As I was going, I saw a mistake I made, a repetition. I transcribed "just" twice, so I fixed it, submitted it and was waiting for another 2, or 3 at least. Lo and behold, I got a 4. Can you imagine? Just because of a repetition, see the rating I got fa. This is the only rating I feel like I didn't deserve. This is funny though... Never seen anything like this before. |

Afrosage: Thanks alot. I have done that but I can just see my average rating, total minutes n total dollars earned...I thought there is a place I can go to see the specific ratings and why I was rated what I saw. NB: I started last night, have transcribed just 2 calls and I got 3 and 4...I jus wanted to know why I got those and take my corrections. Last column, "Quality rating notes" |

foluwaseyi: Atleast I'll sha see some to pick once in a while. Better that than letting opportunities like this slip from one's grasp. Assuming pple said 3g wont work then i would av just waited till d money is enough but now that i know it'll work, i cant just sit and do nothing for another month. As they say, 'half bread is better than full puff-puff or nothing at all' bro this sort of mindset will take you far , just start, and before you know it, with some practice, you'll get real good at this. |

fieryy: I was actually being lowkey shady because you really don't seem to realize what awaits you. Those already here are giving you legit tips based on their experiences, but here you are - someone who has never been to Germany ridiculing them all. You're painting and expecting a bubble world that doesn't exist and I hope when disappointment hits you, you'll know how to cope.
As for your ego, don't worry Germany has a way of dealing with that.

samsard: Deck is physical. So, deck 9 not deck nine. For you to be rated a 2, you must have accumulated a lot WRONGs. The more mistakes you accumulate, the lower your rating. And omitted content outside of fillers is Auto 1. The QAs do get penalized when they're too lenient or not thorough enough. Yeah, I figured. Been using 9 instead since. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by SpongeBobSP: 10:32pm On Nov 13, 2019 |
brijibs: These guys will just be confusing peeps. My job was marked down because I transcribed "two separate cabins." I engage an SCC, who said it should've been "2 separate cabins."
Now, look what I found on Slack. I've also received a rating note about "4-year tenure", which is why I now transcribe "four-year tenure."
But seriously, this is not funny. I didn't use to mind much in the past (it's just afew cents off), but since a perfect profile ensures you get jobs, I'm not finding it funny anymore. Same thing happened to me sometime last week, deck nine vs Deck 9, used "nine" cos I assumed it's less than 10 right?..funny thing is the correction also had deck 9, engaged Arlen and she said this "In any rating notes, there are markdowns provided which will not necessarily merit a failing rating" so it's more than just what they actually say in the rating notes. It's a bit confusing to TBH. |

Alice07: I need help pls. I registered the Lesotho PayPal and I opened a flutterwaves (Barter) account since I don't want to link the PayPal with my indigenous debit card. I tried linking my Barter virtual card with PayPal and PayPal is not accepting it. What should I do? Pls, I did the audio test few weeks back and I've not completed my registration on slack. Do what you are supposed to do, go to a UBA branch near you, ask for Africard international high. Fund, link and cash out, It's really that simple. Don't complicate things for yourself. |
